    Does anyone know how to do this? I know how to display a single feed as a simple list, but it gets more complicated. I want to display a list but have multiple sources, with each source having the list-style-image be specific.     if i have queries on multiple tables like: d = Relations.objects.filter(follow = request.user).filter(date_follow__lt = last_checked) r = Reply.objects.filter(reply_to = request.user).filter(date_reply__lt = last_checked) article = New.objects.filter(created_by = request.user) vote = Vote.objects.filter(voted = article).filter(date__lt = last_checked) and i want to display the results from all of them ordered by date (i mean not listing all the replies, then all the votes, etc ). Somehow, i want to 'join all these results', in a single queryset. Is there possible?

    I'm having a table, where one ID, can have multiple statuses | client_id | status_id | | 1 | 2 | | 1 | 3 | | 1 | 5 | | 2 | 2 | | 2 | 3 | | 2 | 6 | The problem is, to select only those client_id's if they have all the statuses i.e. 2,3,5 (status_id = 2 AND status_id = 3 AND status_id = 5) but mysql doesn't allow that directly.

    Basically I want to get the value of a textbox which is to select a date and output the value that is selected to another textbox. These textboxes are on the same page (different steps of the same page) and the document is loaded when the page is ready on click of the next step, I've tried using: $('#TextBox1').val($('#TextBox2').val()); But this doesn't seem to be working. What is it I am doing wrong?

    Hi, Let's say I have a class A and a class B. I would like to edit using .NET PropertyGrid multiple instances of A and B simultaneously. The desired behavior would be to have the intersection of properties displayed. If A and B have static (written in the source code) properties everything works fine. Selecting A and B instances will only display the intersection of properties. However, if A and B also have dynamic properties (returned as a PropertyDescriptorCollection through the GetProperties() method) the behavior is wrong. When selecting multiple objects I will only see those static properties and none of the dynamic ones. When I select only one instance I can see all properties (static and dynamic). Anybody any ideas? I couldn't find anything on the internet.

    This is my problem. I'm using different sql-queries for fetching some people, some come from my database and some come from an external database. They are all sorted in the same "list", only the difference is, that the people who come from our database will have a different lay-out and there will be less of them in a row (eg. 1 in a row), the list of people who come from the external database will be ordered by 3 (in a row). How can i implement this using a repeater? And how would the pagination work? Any "logical", working alternatives will be appreciated also, but i prefer to keep my current workflow to solve this problem. Short: - Multiple datasources - Multiple templates for the different datasources (1 in a row, 3 in a row) - Pagination in this problem?

In some part of my code I need something like this: $product_type = $product->type; $price_field = 'field_'.$product_type.'_price'; $price = $product->$$price_field; In other words I need kind of KVC - means get object field by field name produced at the runtime. I simply need to extend some existing system and keep field naming convention so do not advice me to change field names instead. I know something like this works for arrays, when you could easily do that by: $price = $product[$price_field_key]. So I can produce key for array dynamically. But how to do that for objects? Please help me as google gives me river of results for arrays, etc... Thank you

    If I am serializing and later deserializing a class using DataContractSerializer how can I control the initial values of properties that were not serialized? Consider the Person class below. Its data contract is set to serialize the FirstName and LastName properties but not the IsNew property. I want IsNew to initialize to TRUE whether a new Person is being instantiate as a new instance or being deserialized from a file. This is easy to do through the constructor, but as I understand it DataContractSerializer does not call the constructor as they could require parameters.   • C++ Returning Multiple Items

    I am designing a class in C++ that extracts URLs from an HTML page. I am using Boost's Regex library to do the heavy lifting for me. I started designing a class and realized that I didn't want to tie down how the URLs are stored. One option would be to accept a std::vector<Url> by reference and just call push_back on it. I'd like to avoid forcing consumers of my class to use std::vector. So, I created a member template that took a destination iterator. It looks like this: template <typename TForwardIterator, typename TOutputIterator> TOutputIterator UrlExtractor::get_urls( TForwardIterator begin, TForwardIterator end, TOutputIterator dest); I feel like I am overcomplicating things. I like to write fairly generic code in C++, and I struggle to lock down my interfaces. But then I get into these predicaments where I am trying to templatize everything. At this point, someone reading the code doesn't realize that TForwardIterator is iterating over a std::string. In my particular situation, I am wondering if being this generic is a good thing. At what point do you start making code more explicit? Is there a standard approach to getting values out of a function generically?

  • Flex Datagrid File Download old value

    Hi, We use a AIR client and WAMP server. Got a weird issue with Flex datagrid. When I download an image by double clicking on a datagrid row, the file gets downloaded correctly. But when I go on to select another row for download, even though the correct parameters are being passed, it again prompts download of old file. Upon cancelling that and trying again, it picks up the selected row.
