    We are experiencing this issue approximately once a month. It is very hard to pinpoint the cause so any help would be appreciated. This causes the App pool to stop and brings the site down. We have gone through all log files and have concluded nothing. We are using the 2.0.3 version on IIS 6.

    hello I have to make a simple layout in android but have problem with the heigh of the central element. basically I have a header, a body and a footer. header and footer have fixed height but I'd like the body to fill the remaining space. this should be screen size independent so I'd like the height of the body to be dynamically worked out when the layout is being rendered. do you guyz know how I can achieve the result? thanks

  • Javas Math.sin() produces NaN all the time

    Forgive me if this is a dumb beginners problem, but I really don't get it. I have a member variable declared like so: public Double Value; When I assign 3.14159265 to Value and try to compute the sine of it, this happens: system.out.println(Value.toString()); //outputs 3.14159265 Value = Math.sin(Value); system.out.println(Value.toString()); //outputs NaN In fact, this happens with every single value I tried - even with 0! Math.sin() seems to always produce NaN as a result, regardless of the arguments value. The docs say: If the argument is NaN or an infinity, then the result is NaN. But my argument is clearly not NaN or infinity! What the heck is happening there?

    Hi I was wondering if there is any jquery function around which can take this dateTime "2010-10-18 10:06" and convert and split it returning "2010/10/18" and "10:06". It would be also nice if the same function could either receive "2010-10-18 10:06" or "2010-10-18" only and return as mentioned above, or different formats besides "2010/10/18" like 18-10-2010" or and 18th of October 2010, giving the option but not that important, just curious about jQuery power dealing with dates.     Hi, I've a JSP/Servlet Web App that consist of more than one servlet (and some JSPs) I need to create an new HttpSession whenever the users access servlet A, knowing that, servlet A is the home page (i.e. he access it as the first servlet/page in the application) so far so good, I can write the following code at the start of the servlet A: HttpSession session = request.getSession(false); if (session == null) { logger.debug("starting new session..."); session = request.getSession(); // other staff here } But the problem is, if the user didn't close his browser (even if he closes the tab - in firefox for instance - the session will still be open), so when he try to open my site again, the last session will be re-used (in the rage of session timeout ofcourse), and this I don't need. I need whenever he access Servlet A, he got created a brand new HttpSession. but unfortunately, he may access this servlet twice per session based on some scenario!! Please help.

  • Rails date/time picker (hopefully jquery)

    Looking for a date and datetime picker that will integrate fairly seamlessly with Rails. I'm sure some people must be using something similar. I have tried the unobtrusive date picker plugin but it breaks with the latest release of Rails. calendar date select plugin uses prototype which I have removed from my app and don't want to add back. active calendar plugin - broken with latest Rails and hacked to fix but doesn't fill out the text fields when a model is loaded.     Hello, I'm building an Event Registration site. For any given event, we'll have a handful of items to choose from. I have a table for these items. For each event we might have special options for users. For example, for one of the events new users get to buy an item which is not available to other users. This may not apply to all the events. For other events we might have some other restriction on items. I will obviously be checking this programmatically on application side. I would like to though, set up a column containing flag in the items table. But I don't find it feasible because this condition may only apply to one particular event. I don't want all the future items to have this column. What is a good approach to take in such a situation? Should I create a special "restrictions" table and just do a join? How would I handle this on the application side?

    I am writing an asynchronous Ping using Raw Sockets in F#, to enable parallel requests using as few threads as possible ("System.Net.NetworkInformation.Ping" appears to use one thread per request, but have not tested this... also am interested in using F# async workflows). The synchronous version below correctly times out when the target host does not exist/respond, but the asynchronous version hangs. Both work when the host does respond... Any ideas?   • How to time-delay email deliveries?

    I'm currently learning about the Drupal email functions, such as drupal_mail and hook_mail, and hook_mail_alter, and I have a problem before me where I'll need to be able to queue emails for delayed delivery. For example, an event signup notification that needs to wait for an hour after the event was registered by a user. And that email has user specific data, so can't be just a generic template email... I'm using the MailQ module, mainly for it's logging capabilities, but I wonder if it (or something else) could be modified to add a configurable delay function? Any ideas?

  • Application Freezing after some idle time

    Hello, I am developing a software using C# 2.0 which uses about 200MB of memory and occasionally high CPU. The problem is, when i am leaving my machine idle for about 20-30 mins with the application running, after i come back and try to use the application, it freezes for about 2 mins, then becomes interactive.   • Yii: Saving date and time in DB

    I am having trouble saving the date in DB through Model. In my controller, if I dump the date in log that I receive from $_POST , I get the date in this format "10/Nov/2012 07:30". If I use: $AccountAppointment->start_date=Yii::app()->dateFormatter->format($_POST['AccountAppointment']['start_date'], 'dd/M/yyyy HH:mm'); I get the error: Invalid datetime format: 1292 Incorrect datetime value: '10/NoGMT+5/2012 07:30' for column 'start_date' Changing the format in dateFormatter to 'dd/M/yyyy HH:mm' or 'dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm' or 'dd/MMM/yyyy HH:mm' throws the same error. Db is MySQL 5.0, Yii version 1.1.12. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am almost stuck....thanks....

But if i run the same program for more than 10 hour and execute query then i receives the following mysql exception.
