  • ListView: Display data divided into groups?

    I would like to display the contents of a DataTable, divided into several groups depending on the value of one of the columns. So, if I have a DataTable (from SQL query) with: GroupID Name Description 1 foo bar 1 one two 2 some thing I would like to place all records containing GroupID 1 in one div, all records with GroupID 2 in another div, and so on. How can I do this? I'm writing in ASP.NET 4.0, with C# codebehind.

    I'm only supporting the portrait orientation, but both the right-side-up and upside-down versions. Why do my subviews not resize appropriately? There's a status bar sized black space at the top of the view. If I change tabs and come back, it's corrected.

I have been trying to use a VBox with Buttons and setting the rotation on the buttons to 90. The buttons seem to disappear when I do this.   • C# equivalent of typeof for fields

    With reflection, you can look up a class from a string at run time, but you can also say typeof(Foo) and get compile time type checking, auto completion etc. If what you want is a field not a class, you can look it up from a string at runtime, but if you want compile time type checking etc., is there anyway to say something like fieldof(Foo.Bar)? I know the name of both the class and the field in advance, and I want to be able to refer to the field at compile time rather than with a run-time string lookup.

I have made a workaround by aliasing the function like so: def fn end class Bar alias global_fn fn def fn # how to access the global fn here without the alias global_fn end end I'm looking for something along the lines of c++'s :: to access global scope but I can't seem to locate any information about it.     Consider you have the following class public class OuterClass { ... private static class InnerClass { int foo; int bar; } } I think I've read somewhere (but not the official Java Tutorial) that if I would declare the static member classes attributes private, the compiler had to generate some sort of accessor methods so that the outer class can actually access the static member class's (which is effectively a package-private top level class) attributes. Any ideas on that?
