    I've got a table of projects in my Rails app, each with a delete link, like so: <%= link_to "Delete", project, :confirm => "Are you sure?", :method => :delete %> However, the delete request is sent even if the user clicks "Cancel" on the dialog box. Any ideas on how to fix this?

  • Return statements for all functions

    How common is it for coding style guidelines to include a requirement that all functions include a return statement (including functions which return void)? To avoid being subjective or argumentative, I'd like answers which can name specific companies or open-source projects which have this requirement.     From reading the docs I can tell that allowForceBuild will turn off the force build button for the server. In my case I have 12 projects. Once is a weekend cleanup task. I want to remove the force build on this one project. Is there a way to turn off the button on a project level? Thanks. -

  • VS2010 Database Compare. How do you create a *.DBSchema extensioned file?

    I'd like to take a snapshot of my database, make some changes and then use the db compare functionality to identify the changes, and who knows, maybe even generate scripts to make the change. I'd like to avoid having to backup the current db and restore it as a separate db just to have a "before" snapshot. I'm guessing I shouldn't have to. Obsviously, I'm clueless about db projects and am looking to be pointed in the right direction. ty!

  • In a Visual Studio C++ project with /clr, are its dependencies also compiled to managed code?

If I have a Visual Studio C++ solution that has two projects, say a static library with CLR support turned off, and a second project with CLR support turned on that depends on this static library, does the static library get compiled as managed code? What about libraries that the CLR project uses that are external to this solution, do they also get compiled as managed code?

  • Is there any advantage for using a library other than Hibernate for JPA?

    Hi, I've been using JPA for some time now and been in projects where we've used both Hibernate Annotations and Toplink Essentials. AFAIK the project leader chose Toplink because Netbeans had it integrated and seemed to be the easy thing to do. However when looking for help, most of the literature seemed to assume that you are using Hibernate as the JPA provider, so, the question is, is have you found any advantage, performance or otherwise for not using the de-facto standard for JPA, Hibernate?
