  I'm using a modified version of Modern Clix by Rodrigo Galindez on my website, and I've encountered a problem with gaps on top of every one of my posts in IE. • IE7 weirdness - When I set the CSS of an element via jquery, I lose the margin of a sibling element.

  When I call $('.elem').css('opacity', .5); then the margin of element to the right of .elem goes to 0, and butts right up against .elem for some reason.
