  • problem with customized destination path

    during installation i'm giving an option to user to change the default installation dir. Once this is done, installation goes fine and installs in the user specific location. But when i use INSTALLDIR to modify few registry entries, INSTALLDIR is having old, default values but not the user specified. This is happening to only one package and i couldn't find the reason. Any help will save my time. i use installshield 12 on win2k3 x86. ~calvin

Every time I try and use it by declaring it in my layout xml file I receive the error "01-04 12:27:46.471: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(1771): Caused by: android.view.InflateException: Binary XML file line #605: Error inflating class android.widget.CompoundButton" After fighting the error for a half an hour I decided to try a minimalistic example. I am using the latest eclipse developer tools, and targeting android 2.2 makign the minimum sdk required 2.2 (8).     When I easy_install some python modules, warnings such as: <some module>: module references __file__ <some module>: module references __path__ <some module>: module MAY be using inspect.trace <some module>: module MAY be using inspect.getsourcefile sometimes get emitted. Where (what package / source file) do these messages come from? Why is referencing __file__ or __path__ considered a bad thing?

    I'm trying to develop a simple Android app, fixed in landscape mode. I am using Eclipse 1.3, compiling for Android SDK version 7 (OS version 2.1). When I try to run it in the emulator, it crashes on boot. (It gets as far as the unlock slider, but shortly after that when trying to launch the application itself, I get "The application Failtest (process com.wcs.failtest) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.".)     I have a web service implemented in this folder in package in eclipse: src\hw2\agency\server to generate the client classes using WSGEN utility, I entered the following command in cmd: C:\Users\NOONA\workspace\HW2>wsgen -d . -keep -wsdl -classpath . hw2.agency.server.AgencyServiceServerImpl but I get the following error: Class not found: "hw2.agency.server.AgencyServiceServerImpl" so I was wondering, what should I do to make it find the class? thanks

    I have a SSIS package I am trying to schedule. I create a new job under SQL Server Agent. On the Command line tab of the jobstep, I choose "Edit the command-line manually". The changes are retained as I switch from tab to tab within the job step but whenever I exit and save the job, the changes are lost. Any ideas what's going on? I'm on SQL Server 2008.

  • Non ASCII char in PHP?

    Hello, I am trying to send something to serial port (r232) with PHP. I am using this class: http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/package/3679.html The problem is that I am allowed to send only 1 byte. But if I send something like "1", I am actually sending 49 (ASCII for 1). Instead of send("1"), I tried with send(1) but it is no good, because this is integer which has 2 bytes. So is there a way to send a "real" char, not ASCII equivalent?
