  • GlGenTextures keeps returing 0's

    - by user146780
    I'm trying to generate textures like so: #define checkImageWidth 64 #define checkImageHeight 64 static GLubyte checkImage[checkImageHeight][checkImageWidth][4]; static GLubyte otherImage[checkImageHeight][checkImageWidth][4]; static GLuint texName[2]; void makeCheckImages(void) { int i, j, c; for (i = 0; i < checkImageHeight; i++) { for (j = 0; j < checkImageWidth; j++) { c = ((((i&0x8)==0)^((j&0x8))==0))*255; checkImage[i][j][0] = (GLubyte) c; checkImage[i][j][1] = (GLubyte) c; checkImage[i][j][2] = (GLubyte) c; checkImage[i][j][3] = (GLubyte) 255; c = ((((i&0x10)==0)^((j&0x10))==0))*255; otherImage[i][j][0] = (GLubyte) c; otherImage[i][j][1] = (GLubyte) 0; otherImage[i][j][2] = (GLubyte) 0; otherImage[i][j][3] = (GLubyte) 255; } } } void init(void) { glClearColor (1.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0); glShadeModel(GL_FLAT); glEnable(GL_DEPTH_TEST); makeCheckImages(); glPixelStorei(GL_UNPACK_ALIGNMENT, 1); glGenTextures(2, texName); glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_2D, texName[0]); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_S, GL_CLAMP); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_T, GL_CLAMP); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MAG_FILTER, GL_NEAREST); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER, GL_NEAREST); glTexImage2D(GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, GL_RGBA, checkImageWidth, checkImageHeight, 0, GL_RGBA, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, checkImage); glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_2D, texName[1]); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_S, GL_CLAMP); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_T, GL_CLAMP); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MAG_FILTER, GL_NEAREST); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER, GL_NEAREST); glTexEnvf(GL_TEXTURE_ENV, GL_TEXTURE_ENV_MODE, GL_DECAL); glTexImage2D(GL_TEXTURE_2D, 0, GL_RGBA, checkImageWidth, checkImageHeight, 0, GL_RGBA, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, otherImage); glEnable(GL_TEXTURE_2D); engineGL.current.tex = texName[1]; } But when I check the values of texName[0] and [1] they are both 0, I do not understand why, what am I doing wrong. Thanks.

  • .Net - interop assemblies taking 15 seconds to load when being referenced in a function

    - by Jon
    This is a C# console application. I have a function that does something like this: static void foo() { Application powerpointApp; Presentation presentation = null; powerpointApp = new Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint.ApplicationClass(); } That's all it does. When it is called there is a fifteen second delay before the function gets hit. I added something like this: static void MyAssemblyLoadEventHandler(object sender, AssemblyLoadEventArgs args) { Console.WriteLine(DateTime.Now.ToString() + " ASSEMBLY LOADED: " + args.LoadedAssembly.FullName); Console.WriteLine(); } This gets fired telling me that my interop assemblies have been loaded about 10 milliseconds before my foo function gets hit. What can I do about this? The program needs to call this function (and eventually do something else) once and then exit so I need for these assemblies to be cached or something. Ideas?

  • Nonstatic conversion functions; Casting different types, e.g. DirectX vector to OpenGL vector

    - by Markus
    I am currently working on a game "engine" that needs to move values between a 3D engine, a physics engine and a scripting language. Since I need to apply vectors from the physics engine to 3D objects very often and want to be able to control both the 3D, as well as the physics objects through the scripting system, I need a mechanism to convert a vector of one type (e.g. vector3d<float>) to a vector of the other type (e.g. btVector3). Unfortunately I can make no assumptions on how the classes/structs are laid out, so a simple reinterpret_cast probably won't do. So the question is: Is there some sort of 'static'/non-member casting method to achieve basically this: vector3d<float> operator vector3d<float>(btVector3 vector) { // convert and return } btVector3 operator btVector3(vector3d<float> vector) { // convert and return } Right now this won't compile since casting operators need to be member methods. (error C2801: 'operator foo' must be a non-static member)

  • Java: Multithreading & UDP Socket Programming

    - by Ravi
    I am new to multithreading & socket programming in Java. I would like to know what is the best way to implement 2 threads - one for receiving a socket and one for sending a socket. If what I am trying to do sounds absurd, pls let me know why! The code is largely inspired from Sun's tutorials online.I want to use Multicast sockets so that I can work with a multicast group. class server extends Thread { static protected MulticastSocket socket = null; protected BufferedReader in = null; public InetAddress group; private static class receive implements Runnable { public void run() { try { byte[] buf = new byte[256]; DatagramPacket pkt = new DatagramPacket(buf,buf.length); socket.receive(pkt); String received = new String(pkt.getData(),0,pkt.getLength()); System.out.println("From server@" + received); Thread.sleep(1000); } catch (IOException e) { System.out.println("Error:"+e); } catch (InterruptedException e) { System.out.println("Error:"+e); } } } public server() throws IOException { super("server"); socket = new MulticastSocket(4446); group = InetAddress.getByName("239.231.12.3"); socket.joinGroup(group); } public void run() { while(1>0) { try { byte[] buf = new byte[256]; DatagramPacket pkt = new DatagramPacket(buf,buf.length); //String msg = reader.readLine(); String pid = ManagementFactory.getRuntimeMXBean().getName(); buf = pid.getBytes(); pkt = new DatagramPacket(buf,buf.length,group,4446); socket.send(pkt); Thread t = new Thread(new receive()); t.start(); while(t.isAlive()) { t.join(1000); } sleep(1); } catch (IOException e) { System.out.println("Error:"+e); } catch (InterruptedException e) { System.out.println("Error:"+e); } } //socket.close(); } public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException { new server().start(); //System.out.println("Hello"); } }

  • How can I have a Windsor IoC container that can be shared amongst my classes but not shared across m

    - by Si Keep
    I am building a set of class libraries that produce office open xml based reports and I am using a static Windsor IoC container. My problem is that one possible entry point to the reporting system is via a web front end which means that the reporting systems static IoC Container is being shared amongst multiple web requests which causes exceptions as for each new request the reporting system is trying re-register components in Windsor that were already registered by an earlier request. I dont want to move the registration into the web app global.asax as my reporting system will no longer be stand-alone. How can I have a Windsor IoC container that can be shared amongst my reporting classes but not shared across multiple web requests?

  • Java Passing variables around classes

    - by nazerb
    I am new to java and am trying to pass variables like in the following example from one class to another, im wondering is this possible and how i would go about it if it is. As this code does not work as it is not static. Main Class public class testAll { public static void main(String[] args) { One one = new One(); Two two = new Two(); } } The first class: public class One { public int test = 4; public int getTest() { return this.test; } } The second class: public class Two { public void value() { System.out.print("Var is: " + One.getTest()); } } Thanks, Naz

  • Pattern for database-wrapper in java

    - by Space_C0wb0y
    I am currently writing a java-class that wraps an SQLite database. This class has two ways to be instantiated: Open an existing database. Create a new database. This is what I cam up with: public class SQLiteDatabaseWrapper { public static SQLiteDatabaseWrapper openExisting(File PathToDB) { return new SQLiteDatabaseWrapper(PathToDB); } public static SQLiteDatabaseWrapper createNew(File PathToDB) { CreateAndInitializeNewDatabase(PathToDB); return new SQLiteDatabaseWrapper(PathToDB); } private SQLiteDatabaseWrapper(File PathToDB) { // Open connection and setup wrapper } } Is this the way to go in Java, or is there any other best practice for this situation?

  • Passing information between test methods in a junit testcase

    - by Jijoy
    Hi, Currently I am creating a TestCase for one work flow and a workflow have different steps. The results of one step is important since , second step needs to know value of step1's execution. class TestCaseWorkFlow1 extends TestCase { private static String resultOfStep1 = null; public void testStep1(){ if(failed){ resultOfStep1 = "failed"; } } public void testStep2(){ if(resultOfStep1 != null ) { //First test failed. }else { } } } Currently we are using static variable to pass information between testmethods . What is the best solution for this scenario ? Please help. Thanks J

  • How can I add similar functionality to a number of methods in java?

    - by Roman
    I have a lot of methods for logging, like logSomeAction, logAnotherAction etc. Now I want all these methods make a small pause after printing messages (Thread.sleep). If I do it manually, I would do something like this: //before: public static void logSomeAction () { System.out.println (msg(SOME_ACTION)); } //after: public static void logSomeAction () { System.out.println (msg(SOME_ACTION)); try { Thread.sleep (2000); } catch (InterruptedException ignored) { } } I remember that Java has proxy classes and some other magic-making tools. Is there any way avoid copy-n-pasting N sleep-blocks to N logging methods?

  • SQLiteOpenHelper getWritableDatabse() fails with no Exception

    - by Michal K
    I have a very strange problem. It only shows from time to time, on several devices. Can't seem to reproduce it when I want, but had it so many times, that I think I know where I get it. So I have a Loader which connects to sqlite through a singleton SQLiteOpenHelper: try{ Log.i(TAG, "Get details offline / db helper: "+DatabaseHelper.getInstance(getContext())); SQLiteDatabase db=DatabaseHelper.getInstance(this.getContext()).getWritableDatabase(); Log.i(TAG, "Get details offline / db: "+db); //doing some work on the db //... } catch(SQLiteException e){ e.printStackTrace(); return null; } catch(Exception e){ e.printStackTrace(); return null; //trying everything to grab some exception or whatever } My SQLIteOpenHelper looks something like this: public class DatabaseHelper extends SQLiteOpenHelper { private static DatabaseHelper mInstance = null; private static Context mCxt; public static DatabaseHelper getInstance(Context cxt) { //using app context ass suggested by CommonsWare Log.i("DBHELPER1", "cxt"+mCxt+" / instance: "+mInstance); if (mInstance == null) { mInstance = new DatabaseHelper(cxt.getApplicationContext()); } Log.i("DBHELPER2", "cxt"+mCxt+" / instance: "+mInstance); mCxt = cxt; return mInstance; } //private constructor private DatabaseHelper(Context context) { super(context, DATABASE_NAME, null, DATABASE_VERSION); this.mCxt = context; } @Override public void onCreate(SQLiteDatabase db) { //some tables created here } @Override public void onUpgrade(SQLiteDatabase db, int oldVersion, int newVersion) { //upgrade code here } It really works great in most cases. But from time to time I get a log similar to this: 06-10 23:49:59.621: I/DBHELPER1(26499): cxtcom.bananout.Bananout@407152c8 / instance: com.bananout.helpers.DatabaseHelper@40827560 06-10 23:49:59.631: I/DBHELPER2(26499): cxtcom.bananout.Bananout@407152c8 / instance: com.bananout.helpers.DatabaseHelper@40827560 06-10 23:49:59.631: I/DetailsLoader(26499): Get event details offline / db helper: com.bananout.helpers.DatabaseHelper@40827560 06-10 23:49:59.631: I/DBHELPER1(26499): cxtcom.bananout.Bananout@407152c8 / instance: com.bananout.helpers.DatabaseHelper@40827560 06-10 23:49:59.651: I/DBHELPER2(26499): cxtcom.bananout.Bananout@407152c8 / instance: com.bananout.helpers.DatabaseHelper@40827560 This line Log.i(TAG, "Get details offline / db: "+db); never gets called! No Exceptions, silence. Plus, the thread with the Loader is not running anymore. So nothing past this line SQLiteDatabase db=DatabaseHelper.getInstance(this.getContext()).getWritableDatabase(); gets executed. What can possibly go wrong on this line?

  • Different behavior of reflected generic delegates with and without debugger

    - by Andrew_B
    Hello. We have encountered some strange things while calling reflected generic delegates. In some cases with attatched debuger we can make impossible call, while without debugger we cannot catch any exception and application fastfails. Here is the code: using System; using System.Windows.Forms; using System.Reflection; namespace GenericDelegate { public partial class Form1 : Form { public Form1() { InitializeComponent(); } private delegate Class2 Delegate1(); private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { MethodInfo mi = typeof (Class1<>).GetMethod("GetClass", BindingFlags.NonPublic | BindingFlags.Static); if (mi != null) { Delegate1 del = (Delegate1) Delegate.CreateDelegate(typeof (Delegate1), mi); MessageBox.Show("1"); try { del(); } catch (Exception) { MessageBox.Show("No, I can`t catch it"); } MessageBox.Show("2"); mi.Invoke(null, new object[] {});//It's Ok, we'll get exception here MessageBox.Show("3"); } } class Class2 { } class Class1<T> : Class2 { internal static Class2 GetClass() { Type type = typeof(T); MessageBox.Show("Type name " + type.FullName +" Type: " + type + " Assembly " + type.Assembly); return new Class1<T>(); } } } } There are two problems: Behavior differs with debugger and without You cannot catch this error without debugger by clr tricks. It's just not the clr exception. There are memory acces vialation, reading zero pointer inside of internal code. Use case: You develop something like plugins system for your app. You read external assembly, find suitable method in some type, and execute it. And we just forgot about that we need to check up is the type generic or not. Under VS (and .net from 2.0 to 4.0) everything works fine. Called function does not uses static context of generic type and type parameters. But without VS application fails with no sound. We even cannot identify call stack attaching debuger. Tested with .net 4.0 The question is why VS catches but runtime do not?

  • Issues querying Access '07 database in C#

    - by Kye
    I'm doing a .NET unit as part of my studies. I've only just started, with a lecturer that as kinda failed to give me the most solid foundation with .NET, so excuse the noobishness. I'm making a pretty simple and generic database-driven application. I'm using C# and I'm accessing a Microsoft Access 2007 database. I've put the database-ish stuff in its own class with the methods just spitting out OleDbDataAdapters that I use for committing. I feed any methods which preform a query a DataSet object from the main program, which is where I'm keeping the data (multiple tables in the db). I've made a very generic private method that I use to perform SQL SELECT queries and have some public methods wrapping that method to get products, orders.etc (it's a generic retail database). The generic method uses a separate Connect method to actually make the connection, and it is as follows: private static OleDbConnection Connect() { OleDbConnection conn = new OleDbConnection( @"Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0; Data Source=C:\Temp\db.accdb"); return conn; } The generic method is as follows: private static OleDbDataAdapter GenericSelectQuery( DataSet ds, string namedTable, String selectString) { OleDbCommand oleCommand = new OleDbCommand(); OleDbConnection conn = Connect(); oleCommand.CommandText = selectString; oleCommand.Connection = conn; oleCommand.CommandType = CommandType.Text; OleDbDataAdapter adapter = new OleDbDataAdapter(); adapter.SelectCommand = oleCommand; adapter.MissingSchemaAction = MissingSchemaAction.AddWithKey; adapter.Fill(ds, namedTable); return adapter; } The wrapper methods just pass along the DataSet that they received from the main program, the namedtable string is the name of the table in the dataset, and you pass in the query you wish to make. It doesn't matter which query I give it (even something simple like SELECT * FROM TableName) I still get thrown an OleDbException, stating that there was en error with the FROM clause of the query. I've just resorted to building the queries with Access, but there's still no use. Obviously there's something wrong with my code, which wouldn't actually surprise me. Here are some wrapper methods I'm using. public static OleDbDataAdapter GetOrderLines(DataSet ds) { OleDbDataAdapter adapter = GenericSelectQuery( ds, "orderlines", "SELECT OrderLine.* FROM OrderLine;"); return adapter; } They all look the same, it's just the SQL that changes.

  • Visual Studio 2010 debug minidump

    - by Snake
    Hi all, Consider the following code (written with Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0) using System; namespace DumpTester { class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { int test = new Random().Next(); Console.WriteLine(test + new Random().Next()); Test(); } private static void Test() { throw new Exception(); } } } When running outside of Visual Studio you get this nice window of Microsoft Windows 7 that it is looking for a solution. Obviously, since this is my app, there is none. At that point I create a full dump file of my application with for example Process Explorer. I then open that dmp file from its location and try to debug. But whatever I try, it can't find the location of the source symbols. I tried putting the pdb next to the dump but it just doesn't find it. What am I doing wrong?

  • Creating Delegates With Lambda Expressions in F#

    - by Matt H
    Why does... type IntDelegate = delegate of int -> unit type ListHelper = static member ApplyDelegate (l : int list) (d : IntDelegate) = l |> List.iter (fun x -> d.Invoke x) ListHelper.ApplyDelegate [1..10] (fun x -> printfn "%d" x) not compile, when: type IntDelegate = delegate of int -> unit type ListHelper = static member ApplyDelegate (l : int list, d : IntDelegate) = l |> List.iter (fun x -> d.Invoke x) ListHelper.ApplyDelegate ([1..10], (fun x -> printfn "%d" x)) does? The only difference that is that in the second one, ApplyDelegate takes its parameters as a tuple. Error 1 This function takes too many arguments, or is used in a context where a function is not expected

  • Is it possible to write a Java printf statement that prints the statement itself?

    - by polygenelubricants
    Is it possible to have a Java printf statement, whose output is the statement itself? Some snippet to illustrate: // attempt #1 public class Main { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.printf("something"); } } This prints something. So the output of attempt #1 is not quite exactly the printf statement in attempt #1. We can try something like this: // attempt #2 public class Main { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.printf("System.out.printf(\"something\");"); } } And now the output is System.out.printf("something"); So now the output of attempt #2 matches the statement in output #1, but we're back to the problem we had before, since we need the output of attempt #2 to match the statement in attempt #2. So is it possible to write a one-line printf statement that prints itself?

But i want improve it with jQuery. So i have this: $('#submit').click(function () { $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: '<% Response.Write("~"+Request.Path); %>', beforeSend: function () { $(document.createElement('div')).width($('#formBox').width()) .height($('#formBox').height()) .css({ backgroundImage: 'url(/Static/Img/bc_overlay.png)', position: 'absolute', left: 0, top: 0, margin: "5px", textAlign: "center", color: "#000", display: "none" }) .append("<strong>Nacítám</strong><br /><img src='Static/Img/ajax-loader.gif' width='33px' height='33px' alt='loading' />") .fadeIn("slow") .prependTo($('#formBox')); $('#formBox').css('position', 'relative'); }, success: function () { } }); }); So if i click on submit, new div is creating (there is loading text and image, and cool opacity overlay), but how i give to this div some ID?   • cocoa - referencing a method on the parent

    I had a method on my main view controller named "calculateThis". This method was run, obviously, as int newValue = [self calculateThis:myVariable]; when I run it from inside the view controller. Then I created a static class and I need to run this method from there. How do I reference this method from that class using just relative references, as super, superview, delegate, etc. I cannot use the class name defined on the delegate because this static class is used in several apps of mine.

  • Any chances to imitate times() Ruby method in C#?

    - by Alexander Prokofyev
    Every time I need to do something N times inside an algorithm using C# I write this code for (int i = 0; i < N; i++) { ... } Studying Ruby I have learned about method times() which can be used with the same semantics like this N.times do ... end Code fragment in C# looks more complex and we should declare useless variable i. I tried to write extension method which returns IEnumerable, but I am not satisfied with the result because again I have to declare a cycle variable i. public static class IntExtender { public static IEnumerable Times(this int times) { for (int i = 0; i < times; i++) yield return true; } } ... foreach (var i in 5.Times()) { ... } Is it possible using some new C# 3.0 language features to make N times cycle more elegant?

  • Grails - Need to restrict fetched rows based on condition on join table

    - by sector7
    Hi guys, I have these two domains Car and Driver which have many-to-many relationship. This association is defined in table tblCarsDrivers which has, not surprisingly, primary keys of both the tables BUT additionally also has a new boolean field deleted. Herein lies the problem. When I find/get query on domain Car, I am fetched all related drivers irrespective of their deleted status in tblCarsDrivers, which is expected. I need to put a clause/constraint to exclude the deleted drivers from the list of fetched records. PS: I tried using an association domain CarDriver in joinTable name but that seems not to work. Apparently it expects only table names, not maps. PPS: I know its unnatural to have any other fields besides the mapping keys in mapping table but this is how I got it and it cant be changed. Car domain is defined as such - class Car { Integer id String name static hasMany = [drivers:Driver] static mapping = { table 'tblCars' version false drivers joinTable:[name: 'tblCarsDrivers',column:'driverid',key:'carid'] } } Thanks!

    - by Artem Barger
    Recently I've bumped into realization/implementation of Singleton design pattern for C++. It has looked in the following way (I have adopted it from real life example): // a lot of methods is omitted here class Singleton { public: static Singleton* getInstance( ); ~Singleton( ); private: Singleton( ); static Singleton* instance; }; From this declaration I can deduce that instance field is initiated on the heap, that means there is a memory allocation. That is completely unclear for me is when does exactly memory is going to be deallocated? Or there is a bug and memory leak? It seems like there is a problem in implementation. PS. And main question how to implement it in the right way?

  • EJB / JSF java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.ericsantanna.jobFC.dao.DAOFactoryRemote from [Module "com.sun.jsf-impl:main" from local module loader

    - by Eric Sant'Anna
    I'm in my first time using EJB and JSF, and I can't resolve this: 20:23:12,457 Grave [javax.enterprise.resource.webcontainer.jsf.application] (http-localhost-127.0.0.1-8081-2) com.ericsantanna.jobFC.dao.DAOFactoryRemote from [Module "com.sun.jsf-impl:main" from local module loader @439db2b2 (roots: C:\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\modules)]: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.ericsantanna.jobFC.dao.DAOFactoryRemote from [Module "com.sun.jsf-impl:main" from local module loader @439db2b2 (roots: C:\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\modules)] I'm getting this when I do an action like a selectOneMenu or a commandButton click. DAOFactory.class @Singleton @Remote(DAOFactoryRemote.class) public class DAOFactory implements DAOFactoryRemote { private static final long serialVersionUID = 6030538139815885895L; @PersistenceContext private EntityManager entityManager; @EJB private JobDAORemote jobDAORemote; /** * Default constructor. */ public DAOFactory() { // TODO Auto-generated constructor stub } @Override public JobDAORemote getJobDAO() { JobDAO jobDAO = (JobDAO) jobDAORemote; jobDAO.setEntityManager(entityManager); return jobDAO; } JobDAO.class @Stateless @Remote(JobDAORemote.class) public class JobDAO implements JobDAORemote { private static final long serialVersionUID = -5483992924812255349L; private EntityManager entityManager; /** * Default constructor. */ public JobDAO() { // TODO Auto-generated constructor stub } @Override public void insert(Job t) { entityManager.persist(t); } @Override public Job findById(Class<Job> classe, Long id) { return entityManager.getReference(classe, id); } @Override public Job findByName(Class<Job> clazz, String name) { return entityManager .createQuery("SELECT job FROM " + clazz.getName() + " job WHERE job.nome = :nome" , Job.class) .setParameter("name", name) .getSingleResult(); } ... TriggerFormBean.class @ManagedBean @ViewScoped @Stateless public class TriggerFormBean implements Serializable { private static final long serialVersionUID = -3293560384606586480L; @EJB private DAOFactoryRemote daoFactory; @EJB private TriggerManagerRemote triggerManagerRemote; ... triggerForm.xhtml (a portion with problem) </p:layoutUnit> <p:layoutUnit id="eastConditionPanel" position="center" size="50%"> <p:panel header="Conditions to Release" style="width:97%;height:97%;"> <h:panelGrid columns="2" cellpadding="3"> <h:outputLabel value="Condition Name:" for="conditionName" /> <p:inputText id="conditionName" value="#{triggerFormBean.newCondition.name}" /> </h:panelGrid> <p:commandButton value="Add Condition" update="conditionsToReleaseList" id="addConditionToRelease" actionListener="#{triggerFormBean.addNewCondition}" /> <p:orderList id="conditionsToReleaseList" value="#{triggerFormBean.trigger.conditionsToRelease}" var="condition" controlsLocation="none" itemLabel="#{condition.name}" itemValue="#{condition}" iconOnly="true" style="width:97%;heigth:97%;"/> </p:panel> </p:layoutUnit> In TriggerFormBean.class if comments daoFactory we get the same exception with triggerManagerRemote, both annotated with @EJB. I'm don't understand the relationship between my DAOFactory and the "Module com.sun.jsf-impl:main"... Thanks.

  • how does serializable work in java?

    - by Karl Trumstedt
    If I have an instance of a class that I store in a session I need to make it serializable. This class has a static variable, will this be serialized in every instance stored? The static variable is a reference to a cache containing a lot of data in the background. Will all of this data be serialized? If so, it seems preferable to make this variable transient and re-fetch the cache instance each time the instance is restored. Maybe not store the cache instance at all in the class. Will the constructor execute when a class is restored from a serialized state? if not is there any other method I can use to re-instate a transient variable?
