    Can anyone give me an example of how to stream the output of an external program executed with DefaultExecutor? I'm not finding any documentation describing how to do this. My external process will run for several hours, so just grabbing all output data isn't feasible; it must be streamed.

    Been searching the FB documentation to find an answer for this, but have been unsuccessful. Is an application able to appear as a tab on a page/profile, and also in the sidebar of that same page/profile? So the tab would show the full application details, but the sidebar would give a small breakdown. Is this possible? Thanks!

    I have been looking through [this jqgrid documentation][1] and see the example: i wanted to see how close you can get to data entry that is close to excel like moving arrows keys changes selection supporting Copy and paste from one cell to another column fills for a particular value. Is this asking to much for the web? If its not possible, are there other third party asp.net mvc components that do have these capabilities.

  • Why are Python exceptions named "Error"?

    Why are Python exceptions named "Error" (e.g. ZeroDivisionError, NameError, TypeError etc) and not "Exception" (e.g. ZeroDivisionException, NameException, TypeException etc). I come from a Java background and started to learn Python recently, as such this is confusing because in java there is a distinction between error and exception. Is there a difference in Python also or not? Can someone explain or point me to some documentation explaining it? Thank you!

  • jQuery jFlow plugin. How can I have more than one on a single page?

    Hi, I'm using a very lovely and simple plugin called jFlow that gives me a basic content slider etc. However, I can see no documentation or help on how to get two (or more) on one page at the same time working seperately from one another.     I read this article: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-genericdao.html several times and believe I understand what it is saying. However, it is 4 years old and I have a JPA compliant Java application to contend with. In addition, I see that there is a JPATemplate in Spring that has some good functionality, but the Spring documentation says it is already deprecated! Can anybody point me to a solid, modern, JPA compliant, Spring based, working example of a GenericDAOImpl that proxies an Interface to provide generic finder execution?

  • WCF Custom WSDL XmlSerializerOperationBehavior

    Hi, I have code that builds a custom WCF wsdl on the fly. In one particular scenario, the WSDL exported should use the XmlSerializerOperationBehavior as the IWsdlExportExtension as opposed to the default DataContractSerializerOperationBehavior IWsdlExportExtension. However, every time I try this from the WSDL generation code, I get a null reference exception from the ExportBody method of the XmlSerializerMessageContractExporter (which is used internally in System.ServiceModel by the XmlSerializerOperationBehavior ExportContract method). I've reflector'd it and I can't see anything obviously wrong. For some reason, .NET also doesn't want to work with source stepping in this scenario... Simply, the most basic way I can reproduce this is var c = ContractDescription.GetContract(typeof(IMyService)); foreach (var op in c.Operations) { op.Behaviors.Remove(typeof(DataContractSerializerOperationBehavior)); op.Behaviors.Insert(0, new XmlSerializerOperationBehavior(op)); } new WsdlExporter().ExportContract(c); // throws NullReferenceException Does anyone have any ideas on this?   • How to ignore/prevent javadoc folder from validation during Eclipse Build?

    In my war is a huge javadoc folder. There is no point in validating it since javadocs are produced by Sun(Oracle) javadoc utility. I have forgotten how I did it the last time. I need to tell Eclipse build not to validate that particular folder. Reasons why I need it: 1. the html produced by Sun javadoc generation utility does not meet the requirement that Eclipse uses - there is a bug report in Eclipse but Eclipse responds that Sun javadoc generator non-compliance is not their fault and that Eclipse intends to stick to their strict compliance. Which results in lots of html errors listed in the problems tab. 2. the javadoc folder is a remote link and high activity on that link is using up my cpu resource, and because it is a link to a remote location, that cpu high activity is sustained for long time until it finishes scanning the whole 35MB javadocs. Thanks - need help.

    I have a Flash applet which I want to embed in a Flex file this loads a panorama file inside a SWF player (Immervision's PurePlayer)- I am using the following code: <mx:SWFLoader id="mapLoader" width="740" height="588" source="../bin-debug/PurePlayer.swf?flashvars='panorama=../bin-debug/untitled.ivp'" /> The applet loads fine but it is does not execute the file... The PurePlayer documentation uses the following var: panorama=myPano.ivp" If I load the same SWF via a browser window it works fine with the following URL: http://localhost/pureplayer/PurePlayer.swf?panorama=untitled.ivp

  • Can I configure Apache ActiveMQ to use the STOMP protocol over UDP?

    I'm developing a STOMP binding for Ada, which is working fine utilizing TCP/IP as the transport between the client and an ActiveMQ server configured as a STOMP broker. I thought to support UDP as well (i.e. STOMP over UDP), however, the lack of pertinent information in the ActiveMQ documentation or in web searches suggests to me that this isn't possible, and perhaps it doesn't even make any sense :-) Confirmation one way or the other (and an ActiveMQ configuration excerpt if this is possible) would be appreciated.
