  I have been scratching my head with this error for at least an hour, what the heck is wrong here? In a loop: if (selectedItems[x].ImageIndex == 3) { List<ListViewItem> dupes = CP.listCache.FindAll(delegate(ListViewItem item) { return item.Text == selectedItems[x].Text; }); if (dupes != null && dupes.Count == 1) dupes[0].ImageIndex = 0; } I can access the imageIndex, but not set it. ArgumentOutOfRange exception occurs.

• UINavigationController doesn't fully push view and only changes the Navigation toolbar to the next v

  So I have an iPhone application that utilizes a UINavigationController for setting up the views. When the application first starts, it presents the user with a UITableViewController and the user can select an item and it will push another view. Now I have it set so that my app remembers the user's last selection and automatically selects it and loads the correct view controller. The only problem is that I am experiencing a really weird glitch when I load the next view automatically.. When the view is pushed, the navigation toolbar will change so that a back button directed to the previous view is showing but it won't display the next view. It will instead keep showing the table view and I can interact with it as well. I can press the back button and it will change the toolbar back and the tableview is still shown. Then when I select an item it loads the view just fine. Thanks for the help.

  I have a txt plain file that has a list of numbers. One number per line, like: 978-972-722-649-8 978-972-722-646-7 978-972-722-627-6 978-972-722-625-2 978-972-722-594-1 etc. This list is on a file called file.txt, was created and saved on TextEdit using Western (ISO Latin 1) encoding. Now I am trying to use Applescript to read this file and transform it on a list. I have this script set myDirectory to path to desktop folder as string set myFile to myDirectory & "file.txt" try set open_file to ¬ open for access file myFile without write permission set myList to read open_file using delimiter return close access open_file on error try close access file open_file end try end try after running this script, myList contains just ONE item and this item is "97" (I suppose that is the first two numbers of the first entry).   Hello. I am designing a 960px wide layout with an unordered list. Each list item is 240px wide, so 4 list items fit horizontally in a row. I have about 20 rows on the page.... I want every other list item to have a background of #ececec, so my css would be: ul li:nth-child(2n+2){ background-color:#ececec; } This works. The only problem is because there are 4 items in a row (an even #), the next row would be identical, thus rendering background colors on every 1st and 3rd list items in a row. This is not the effect I am looking to achieve. I want the background colors to alternate, creating a grid-like effect. What is the correct css to do so (think a checker board). Thanks!

  Is there a way to keep the value binding to the object, but have the optionsValue be a property on the object. As of now if I specify both, the optionsValue property that is selected will populate the value binding. Id like to keep the object intact in the observable, but specify what value to be set in the select list value.   I've set the Data Annotation for date, it works when I use the EditorFor but when I use the DisplayFor it is not working. The date is come from a collection of data.   I'm trying to create an add-in for VS2008 to automate the unit tests. The test classes are located in a different project of the same solution. After the test class file is generated, I want to add it to that project automatically and make it active document. I could easily locate the test project, and I also found that testProject.DTE.ItemOperations.AddExistingItem(fileName) can be used to add an existing item to a project. However, this call always adds the item to the current project, instead of the testProject. I'm sure there must be an easy way to do it, but I couldn't figure it out. Your help is much appreciated.

  I have an array of tags per item like so: item1 = ['new', 'expensive'] item2 = ['expensive', 'lame'] I also have a boolean expression as a string based on possible tags: buy_it = "(new || expensive) && !lame" How can I determine if an item matches the buying criteria based on the tags associated with it? My original thought was to do a gsub on all words in buy_it to become 'true' or 'false' based on them existing in the itemx tags array and then exec the resulting string to get a boolean result. But since the Ruby community is usually more creative than me, is there a better solution?

• Messaging in local network with .NET

  Hi All, I need to implement some form of communication mechanism in my application, to send notifications/messages from one application instance to all the others. This is a normal scenario where someone adds and item or deletes and item and you want to notify other users that this has happened. The application runs on the client and connects to a database on the local network. So its not like all clients access a server instance of the application. So from what I know I could use MessageQueues or some form of Database polling where I have a table that stores all the messages (not ideal). Issue is I need to implement this very quickly, so sadly can't go very complex but need the quickest easiest solution. thanks for the help!

  I've tried, but have had no luck trying to find this answer elsewhere. I want to add a row to the bottom of my listview that displays "Loading..." and maybe a spinning progress indicator. My program already loads additional information into the listview once the user scrolls to the bottom. But I want the user to be able to see that the program is indeed loading something. Example: If you go to the android marketplace and scroll to the bottom of one of the lists, the last row will say "Loading...". Then once the data is loaded, that bar is replaced with the first item of the new data. Sorry, it's a little hard to describe. I am NOT trying to add a footer to the bottom of the list view. I want it to be an actual item in the listview.

  Hi, this site has been really amazing for helping me with game development however I'm unable to find an answer for the following question (nor am I able to solve it on my own). I am trying to do rectangle collision in my game. My idea is to 1) get the original collision bounding rectangle 2) Transform the texture (pos/rot/scale) 3) Factor changes of item into a matrix and then use this matrix to change the original collision bounds of the item. However, my textures contain a lot of transparency, transparency that affect the overall height/width of the texture (I do this to maintain power of two dimensions). • More intelligent Context Menus in Visual Studio 2008 Database Projects

  I'm using a SQL Server 2008 Database Project, and I'm finding it's very cumbersome to add certain items. For example, if I right click on Tables = Keys and navigate to the Add item, I'd expect to see the different kinds of keys that I can add. Instead, I see the stock items that don't apply, and I'm forced to navigate the Add New Item screen to find Primary Key. Is there a way to make this more efficient? I have Resharper; can I leverage templates somehow (kind of a noob with these). Thanks!

  I also tried 2 solution. But It doesn't worked. Go to Tools Options menu in Visual Studio. Go to Debugging General menu item in left pane. In right view you will see and option Step over properties and operators (Managed only). Uncheck this option and then you are all set. and Go to Tools Options menu in Visual Studio. Go to Debugging General menu item in left pane. In right view you will see and option Enable Just My Code (Managed only). Uncheck this option and then you are all set.
