  • Documentation for Liferay Hooks

    Hi there, I need to listen for user log in and log out events in Liferay. From what little I've been able to find, it seems that using Liferay hooks would be the way to accomplish this. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any information other that at the following link: http://www.liferay.com/web/raymond.auge/blog/-/blogs/portal-hook-plugins Does anyone know where I can find further documentation or how I would implement listening for user log in/log out events?     Hello All I am looking for sub version solution for iPhone applications (xCode Projects). i have tried Rapid SVN and SCPlugin but both plugins are not so use full and it behaved randomly like giving error like "file is locked" etc.. So is there any powerful solution for same. One more think i am not able to figure out that why only few files are updated while taking SVN update, same with SVN commit. can you all give some helpful information on same?     I've installed typesafe-stack from http://typesafe.com/stack/download on my ubuntu12, than I created a play project (g8 typesafehub/play-scala) and now I want to add scalatest or scalacheck to my project. So my_app/project/plugins.sbt has the following lines: // The Typesafe repository resolvers += "Typesafe repository" at "http://repo.typesafe.com/typesafe/releases/" // Use the Play sbt plugin for Play projects addSbtPlugin("play" % "sbt-plugin" % "2.0.1") Then I added scalatest using addSbtPlugin: addSbtPlugin("org.scalatest" %% "scalatest" % "2.0.M1" % "test") and now it fails with the following message when I run 'sbt test' [info] Resolving org.scalatest#scalatest;2.0.M1 ... Quite the same problem I have with scalacheck: it also tries to download using sbt-version specific artifactId whereas the repository has only scala-version specific. What am I doing wrong? I understand there must be a switch in sbt somewhere, not to use sbt-version as part of the artifact URL? I also tried using this in my plugins.sbt libraryDependencies += "org.scalatest" %% "scalatest" % "2.0.M1" % "test" but looks like it is completely ignored by sbt and scalatest.jar hasn't appeared in the classpath: my_app/test/AppTest.scala:1: object scalatest is not a member of package org [error] import org.scalatest.FunSuite because the output of sbt clean && sbt test has lots of Resolving org.easytesting#fest-util;1.1.6 or just another library, but nothing about scalatest.     Dokuwiki us prototype, my site use Jquery. If there is another way to alter Dokuwiki javascript, instead using jQuery.noConflict(), or/and var $j = jQuery on my jQuery? I open all .js files on Dokuwiki, search for "$(" and replace it with "$DW(", and it works like a charms, but I had to deal with every Dokuwiki plugins that has javascript in it. So, how to alter "$" in prototype libaries/ Dokuwiki?

    What would cause a brief flash of white screen while a PHP page is loading? I just noticed it today on a WordPress theme that I am building and am wondering if this is a cause for concern. As a page loads, the screen will flash white before showing the page content. Sometimes this happens on every single page load, other times it only happens intermittently.

    I'm currently using the jQuery fullcalendar plugin but I've came across an issue regarding daylight savings time in Britain. After the daylight savings take effect the hours are being displayed an hour out of phase. The problem appears to be with the plugins parsing function. Can someone please provide me with the funciton to parse a UTC string which includes the 'Z' demonination into a local date time for display?

  • Py2exe, PyQt4 and Postgre Driver (QPSQL)

    Hi, I`m trying to freeze my application using Py2exe. My app uses PyQt4 and it apparently works fine with py2exe. But once I`ve uninstalled PyQt, it shows the following error: QSqlDatabase: QPSQL driver not loaded QSqlDatabase: available driver: QPSQL7 QPSQL Which doesn't make sense at all. If PyQt4 is still installed, it works just fine.   • CSS new line issues

    Hi, I'm trying to create a breezebrowser template (used for generating image galleries locally, outputs HTML). I've taken the HTML from my wordpress template and managed to generate the following gallery http://uploads.peasyphotos.com/20100607t-candids/gallery/ but each image goes on a new line and i don't know why, i presume it's in the CSS. What should I be looking for in the CSS to try and stop this, or what can I put around my template code to disable the CSS for that part? Thanks

    Are there any good tools to make css sprites? IDEALLY I'd want to give it a directory of images and an existing .css file that refers to those images and have it create a big image optimized with all the little images AND change my .css file to refer to those images. At the least I'd want it to take a directory of images and generate a big sprite and the .css necessary to use each as a background. Are there any good photoshop plugins or fully blown apps to do this?

  • Facebook Like Button XFBML comment not working

    I am implementing a Like button from Facebook per this document: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like I am using the XFBML version so that users can add comments when they click on the Like button. I have imported the Facebook JavaScript SDK an am using a valid App ID. The button appears and I am able to "Like" the page, but I am never prompted for comments. Is anybody else running into these issues? Anybody know of a fix?

    We have all seen countless instances of forms with a select drop down having one of it's options as "Other" and on choosing that option, we get to see a input text box (which was hidden all along) asking us to type in our input. Is there a better way to implement this? Are there plugins out there which will let me do this better? Or are standard HTML elements suffice (some setting to a , may be) ?

    Hi, I am getting "ASP.NET Session Expired" error when viewing SQL Server 2008 reports using the Microsoft ReportViewer web control. I found this article http://balanagaraj.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/session-has-expired-in-asp-net/ which suggests to use one worker process in IIS application pool, but that may affect performance, is there any other solution for this? I tried setting "AsyncRendering" to false already and that didn't work.

  • Rails 2 support after Rails 3 has been released

    Is there some plan or estimate about how long will Rails 2 be supported after Rails 3 has been released? I wanted to ride the wave and move to Rails 3 right away, specially for projects that may take 4 or 6 months to finish (so that they would probably be released with Rails 3.0.0 final) but I've found many things still not working, many basic plugins and gems; so I believe I'm stuck with Rails 2 for now.
