  • PHP Runs Very Slow on IIS7. Need Help optimizing our config

    Am running a PHP based web app on our Windows 2008 cloud-based server. The app, which runs fine outside of our environment (e.g. a different IIS server), but is VERY slow in our environment. Based on googling this is a relatively common situation. I installed PHP and MySQL via the IIS web deployment method... Here's our setup: Windows 2008 Server Enterprise SP2 (32-bit) Microsoft-IIS/7.0 MySQL client version: mysqlnd 5.0.8-dev - 20102224 $Revision: 321634 $ PHP extension: mysqli Update for IIS 7.0 FastCGI Windows Cache Extension 1.1 for PHP 5.3 I had read elsewhere that ipv6 might be an issue, so I turned this off on the network adapter. The app is using: localhost as its connection Be easy on me, as I'm a bit green about some of these components... Also, rewriting the PHP app or modifying it is NOT an option. I'm reasonably SURE that our config is the issue.

    before answer me plz thinking about the futures of these kind of program and answer me plz. I wanna get some data from oracle server like: 1-get all the function,package,procedure and etc for showing them or drop them & etc... 2-compile my *.sql files,get the result if they have problem & etc... becuz I was beginner in oracle first of all I for solve the second problem I try to connect to sqlPlus by RUN sqlplus and trace the output(I mean,I change the output stream of shell and trace what happend and handle the assigned message to customer. NOW THIS PART SUCCEED. just a little bit I have problem with get all result because the output is asynchronous.any way... [in this case I log in to oracle Server by send argument to the sqlplus by make a process in c#] after that I try to get all function,package or procedure name,but I have problem in speed!so I try to use oracle.DataAccess.dll to connect the database. now I m so confusing about: which way is correct way to build a program that work like Oracle Developer! I do not have any experience for like these program how work. If Your answer is I must use the second way follow this part plz: I search a little bit the Golden,PLedit (Benthic software),I have little bit problem how I must create the connection string?because I thinking about how I can find the host name or port number that oracle work on them?? am I need read the TNSNames.Ora file? IF your answer is I must use the first way follow this part plz: do u have any Idea for how I parse the output?because for example the result of a table is so confusing...[i can handle & program it but I really need someone experience,because the important things to me learn how such software work so nice and with quick response?] All of the has different style in output...   • Help looking before I leap! I need expert guidance...

    27" iMac running win7 under bootcamp (slick! ). I have Access 2003 program with files linked through ODBC used by 4 installations (all with Access 2003 installed). I want to buy Access 2010 and try it under virtual PC (under Bootcamp). Will it work (since I have to install the ODBC drivers)? If I decide after this trial that I like what it does, can I then install it under the Windows 7 bootcamp partition (with or without uninstalling the virtual PC) without using up the 2nd allowed installation? Also, I see that MS allows an Office Pro 2010 trial download good for 60 days. Would this work in Windows 7 Virtual PC and would it be a better way to go, followed by a legitimate purchase of Access 2010 for the Windows 7? This is not an Access programming question--I realize there may be some tweaks necessary in the program to run it under 2010 and I can handle that part.

    I want to try mounting a folder with NFS - I set up the NFS sharing on a windows 2008 R2 server, specified hosts in the NFS permissions (by IP address) and mounted via /etc/fstab it mounts, but when I try to list the folder, I get 'input/output error' the owner/group on the local mount point look weird too? drwx------ 2 4294967294 4294967294 4096 2011-02-10 19:15 data/ I mounted in /etc/fstab as: 10.0.6.55:/share$ /media/data nfs soft,intr,rsize=8192,wsize=8192 What am I doing wrong?

    Hello Everyone, I am new to design patterns and am trying to learn the MVC implementation. I have written four classes: DataModel DataView DataController Main Main serves as the application facade. The main FLA is called HelloWorld. I have a symbol called "Box" in HelloWorld. I just would like to add an instance of the "Box" on the stage. Eventually I would like to place a button and when the button is clicked, the Box instance color will be changed. I would appreciate any help, please help me figure out what am I doing wrong.   • Excel Help: Fill Tool - Drag to the side (across columns) but increase the formula by Row Number.

    There are answers out there to this question, but all of them have been under explianed so hence to difficult to coprehend and use them to my advantage. I want to do the seemingly simple (but not) task of Draging a Formula (Filling a series) across Column's while increasing the formula row number relativley. For Example to drag this formula: | =A1 | =A2 | =A3 Some other notes, Transposing by copy paste has proven too difficult for the amount of data. Offset and Indirect has been used by other people to do this but I don't get how they work at all so when I attempt to use them I don't know how to format it to my range. Here's a example photo Idealy we want the dragged section to continue on to fill the formula.

  • mysqldump --where with = operator doesn't get all rows = - Help!

    I have a situation with a particular table that now thinks it contains 4 Petabytes of data. I know that sounds cool, but I assure you, it is only on a 60GB partition. This table has 9 fields in it. One of them is a domain_id field. It is the best field to identify the rows by, as there are only approximately 6300 of them. The only other field option to match has over 2million records, and thats just more difficult. I cannot do a straight mysqldump because it will attempt to output all 4PB of data and fill the drive long before it gets close to that, so I need to surgically remove the good stuff, destroy the db, and recreate it. I believe if I can do a dump for each domain_id record, then I will get most of the usable data out of it. This is what I am trying to use: mysqldump -u root --skip-opt -q --no-create-info --skip-add-drop-table --max_allowed_packet=1000000000 database table --where="domain_id=10" domains10.sql Using this I expect every row with the domain_id 10 to be exported. However, when I check the export, I am only getting 1 row, when however I look at the db, there are many many rows. It is as though the operator just finds one, then gives up. I have tried various operators. Using the < or I am able to get more of the data, but the export stops short at certain rows where the data has been compromised. With over 6000 to go through, I can't narrow down which rows are being affected in the export easily enough. So, what I need is an operator that will basically do what I thought = would do, simply give me an export of all records that match the specific field. Also note, the only way I got this DB even accessible is through an innodb force recovery 3. So I need to get this right, because after this is done, I have to drop the db in order to make mysql functional again. Looking forward to any helpful answers.

  • EMERGENCY! Update Statement for critical mysql production database now running for 18 hours, need help.

    We have a table with 500 million rows. Unfortunately, one of the columns was int(11), which is a signed int, and it was an incrementing value that just rolled over the 2.1 billion magic number. This immediately caused downtime for about 10.000 users. We discussed many solutions, and decided that we could just roll back this value safely, by say, a billion. But we had to roll it back for every row. Here is what we did: update Table1 Set MessageId = case when MessageId < 1073741824 then 0 else MessageId - 1073741824 end; I tested this on a table with 10 million rows and it took 11 minutes. So I assumed the larger table would take 550 minutes, or 9 hours. This was going to be our biggest downtime in 3 years. (We're a startup). It's now going on 18 hours. What should we do? Please don't say what we should have done. I think we should have updated a few million rows at a time. Is there a way we can see progress? Could Mysql have hung? Using mysql 5.0.22. Thanks!

  • Need help making a bootable portable USB hard drive. [Utility I need will only create bootable CDs or USB flash drives]

    I've got a copy of Spotmau's Bootsuite 2012, which is an utterly fantastic tool. It has completely replaced Bart PE for me, and I relied on BPE for YEARS. Anyway, the issue I'm having is that the Bootsuite installer utility will only create bootable USB flash drives, or bootable CDs. The USB hard drive is detected as a hard drive instead of as a USB device, and as such I cannot use the included app to install to the USB HDD. Is there a way of either copying the files from a bootable flash drive to a USB HDD and making that work, or of taking an .ISO of the bootable CD and using that to make the portable HD bootable? The flash drives I've made of it are great as I can always have it with me [have 16GB dangling from my keychain. :) ], but my USB hard drive is FAR faster than any flash drive I have, so I'd like to be able to use that when I'm working out of my office or happen to have it with me.

    Possible Duplicate: Chrome: where is the location to save browse temporary files Ok, so here's what happened - and yes, it was pretty stupid by me: I wrote up and submitted a post on Stack Overflow It was not suited to be placed on Stack Overflow as someone pointed out to me, so I deleted the post (this was a few hours ago) I copied the text into a new question page on Super User, but didn't submit it yet I accidentally just refreshed the webpage that had the text, and the question has now been deleted from Stack Overflow I have Lazarus installed, however the Chrome version doesn't have many features and the text was not recoverable from there. I do not have a clipboard manager, but the text was copied to my clipboard - so is there any way to get this back (Windows 7)? Although the post on Stack Overflow was deleted, I suppose it would have existed in my cache - could I recover it from there? Would the post on Stack Overflow exist in an rss feed anywhere? Many thanks, and I hope I can find this - and I am sure that the solution will prove valuable for me (and others) in the not too distant future once again.

  • Why are my Google searches redirected?

    This machine was infected with various malware. I have scanned the system with Malwarebytes. It found and removed some 600 or so infected files. Now the machine seems to be running well with only one exception. Some Google search results are being redirected to some shady search engines. If I were to copy the url from the Google Search results and paste it in the address bar it would go to the correct site but if I click the link I will be redirected somewhere else.     My program has one dialog and two sockets. Both sockets are derived from CAsyncSocket, one is for listening, other is for receiving data from client. My program crashes when client tries to connect to server application and server needs to initialize receiving socket. This is my MFC dialog class. class CFileTransferServerDlg : public CDialog { ...   • Open file without specifying exact location

    Say I have a file in some obscure directory that I want to open and edit. I don't want to do something like this... vim ~/foo/bar/blah/doh/ugh.txt I'd rather be able to say find this file and open it. I know there are commands like locate and find to find a file or directory, but I'm not sure whether these can (or even should) be utilized in what I'm trying to do. Basically, what is the simplest way to open a file with a program w/o specifying its exact location? (In cases where there isn't another file with the same name in the entire system, and cases where there are multiple).

  • Unified inbox shows twice on Thunderbird

    I'm using Thunderbird 24. If I show folders in Unified mode, my inbox folder shows up twice. If I choose the "All" folders mode, I see only one inbox. The issue started when I was using Ubuntu 12.04, but now I'm on Fedora 19. (I have migrated the folders on /home). I do remember having it not-duplicated, but then it started while still on Ubuntu. I noticed it when using the Converation plugin, but I had previously used the plugin without it happening. I have disabled the plugin and it persists. What I have tried If I close Thunderbird, rename the .thunderbird folder on my /home to something else, then it will create a new config profile, I have to set up everything again, and then it works as expected, see images below: Before resetting Unified vs All Folders After resetting Unified vs All Folders (I'm trying to avoid resetting the profile and creating a fresh new one, because the server -- MS Exchange -- doesn't support IMAP labels, so I'd lose all the tags on my messages, and I have organized it based on tags instead of folder).
