  • Mac Safari randomly recreating cookie when I refresh my login screen. Very bizarre

    We have found an issue in our app where Safari on the Mac randomly recreates a login cookie from a logged off session. I have a fiddler archive with this behaviour here. Note that some stuff has been removed from this to make it easier to get, but nothing which sets a cookie or anything has been taken out - only repetitions of requests 3-8. I'll talk you through the running order Request 1: user logs out via call to /logout.aspx - Set-Cookie returned setting cookie expiry date to 1999 Requests 2-8: user refreshes login page sending calls to root or /res/en-US/s.js - no cookie is sent to server or received back, and access is denied. I have cut out a lot of requests of this nature from the log as they are boring Request 9: request for /res/en-US/s.js - Hv3 authentication cookie has mysteriously reappeared! Wat. There was NO set-cookie! WTFF! Request 10+ : now the cookie has reappeared, the site logs the user in AGAIN The cookie, when examined in Safari looks like <dict> <key>Created</key> <real>259603523.26834899</real> <key>Domain</key> <string>.mysite.dev</string> <key>Expires</key> <date>2010-03-24T16:05:22Z</date> <key>HttpOnly</key> <string>TRUE</string> <key>Name</key> <string>.Hv3</string> <key>Path</key> <string>/</string> </dict> One thing to note is that in Safari, the cookie domain is .mysite.dev not mysite.dev (which is the cookie domain specified in web.config) - however, given that access is denied in requests 2-8, it looks like the cookie has expired OK. If you look in the list of cookies in the browser during 2-8, the .Hv3 cookie is not there. Is this our bug or Safari's? What can I do to stop it happening?

    In short: I need to find a way to implement swipe action (touchEvent) for my Calendar just like the default Android Calendar one. I am using GridView to make a calendar for my application. When I touch any date, I launch an activity to display details on that date. My problem is that now I tried to implement swipe to change month/year to display but I dont know a way to do it. I tried to use setOnTouchListener on GridView but it seems like detecting for each grid separately instead of the whole grid as one. Further problem would be that it overridden my onItemClick implementation as well.

  • Richfaces Calendar Minimum and Maximum Dates

    Hello everybody! My problem is making the RichFaces calendar restricting the dates to be allowed to be chosen by the user. Let's say I want to allow only the dates of this month and the dates of the next month to be chosen by the user. I used the preloadDateRangeStart and preloadDateRangeEnd attributes but they did nothing. I created my own CalendarDataModel which uses the preloadDateRangeStart and preloadDateRangeEnd and enables the items but the calendar on the screen allows only the dates of the current month to be selected. Note that the preloadDateRangeStart is today's date and preloadDateRangeEnd is today's date plus 2 months. I am missing something here for sure. Can someone help me please?

  • Strange behavior: save video recorded within app?

    I allow the user to record a video within my app, then later play it again. When a user records a video, I save the URL of the video, then play the video later from the saved URL. I save the video both in the Photos app and in my app. If I delete the video within the photos app, it still plays. After about 7 days, the video gets deleted. I think I am saving in my tmp directory, but i'm not sure.     Hello all, I'm looking to purchase a jquery book. I'm a strong C# developer whose had experience with dojo. Now, I'm building my own site and am looking to learn a new platform in the process. So, I've chosen jquery. With dojo, I know how to make my own widgets. I want to learn about ways to plug into jquery to make reusable controls. Also, I plan to make heavy use of json with ajax. Other things to consider: I would call my javascript expertise as intermediate. I'd like to find a book that is as up to date with the jquery platform as possible as I know that in a few months it will likely be out of date. What book or books would you reccomend?

  • Java: Switch statements with methods involving arrays

    Hi guys I'm currently creating a program that allows the user to create an array, search an array and delete an element from an array. Looking at the LibraryMenu Method, the first case where you create an array in the switch statement works fine, however the other ones create a "cannot find symbol error" when I try to compile. My question is I want the search and delete functions to refer to the first switch case - the create Library array.   • On iPhone, how do I check once per day to see if i should phone-home?

    I want to check a file on the server only once each day (NSURL). And, no matter if I fetch the file or not, I do not run the function (to check for the file) again that day. This would SEEM easy... but I forsee issues. Say I had created a directory under the mainBundle: "/Library/runOnceEachDay/". Perhaps I could write to /Library/runOnceEachDay/20100601 knowing that file would only exist if I already ran the function. If it does not exist, run the function and after the function is successful write a zero length file with the date as the filename. Then check before running that function for "mainBundle/Library/runOnceEachDay/YYYYMMDD" whereas YYYYMMDD is today's date. If that file exists, do not run. I could run a housecleaning routine to clean that directory once/week or something. Any better ideas? Thanks!

  • Best way to track impressions/clicks in a bespoke advertisement system?

    I've been asked to create a bespoke advertisement system despite suggesting open source alternatives such as OpenX and DoubleClick for Publishers (the former Google Ad Manager). I've got the basics of the system set up, i.e. uploading creatives, creating positions and a mechanism to place creatives within positions; however, the area I'm stuck with is impression and click tracking. At the moment an impression and click is stored with the creative, but this then means impressions/clicks can't be queried. For example, we can't find how many impressions were in position x between date y and date z. How would I go about storing that kind of data? My theory was store the creative ID, position ID and timestamp in a database table, but given the amount of traffic the site has this would produce a very large database very quickly. If any one could give me a pointer or two, that would be great.

Nothing from behind the colon is there though. How should I 'escape' it so that the colon is properly recognized? Its PHP... Thanks

    I need to count how many buttons are toggled using the jqueryui checkbox button option - .buttonset(). This needs to happen when a button is toggled. I added a unique class to the labels before applying the button set and have set a click event on it. It fires fine, however it is firing before the jqueryui has processed the click so the result is out of date. Then issue the following to the clone to work on a branch: git checkout -b <name> <remote_branch_name> Then I made the changed needed on this branch and want to commit by doing this: git commit -a -m "changed made" However when i want to push back to the remote branch it just say 'Everything is up to date' git push Everything up-to-date I check by clone the remote repo again in a different directory it haven't push the changes over.... So how do i push my changes back to the remote branch Thanks

    I need a script that can run and pull information from any drive on a Windows operating system (Windows Server 2003), listing all files and folders which contain the following fields: The server is quite big and is within our domain. The required information is: Full file path (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\testPage.doc) File type (e.g. word document, spreadsheet, database etc) Size When Created When last modified When last accessed Also the script will need to convert that data to a CSV file, which later on I can modify and process in Excel. I can imagine that this data will be huge but I still need it. I am logged in as an administrator on the server and the script will need to also process protected files. As in previous posts I have read that the script will stop if such files are processed. I need to make sure that not a single file is skipped. Please note I have asked this question before but still have not got a working script.   • MySQL Locking table from Stored FUNCTION

    I have a function in a MySQL Database that determines some sync parameters for a mobile device. The function determines the last date/time the user synchronized with the database. During my sync operation I call this server side function twice. As soon as I call it the second time - the entire Sync_Records table is locked. I cannot write to it from any other connection anywhere (note, after first call, the table is not locked). I changed the function to a Procedure - and all is fine - no locking after the second call. The entire sync operation (including both calls to the function/procedure) is within a transaction. This is an InnoDb table. The function/procedure simply does two select statements. They are storing results in local variables and then returning the date time variable. I don't understand why the tables are locked. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • facebook meta tag description not updating

    3 days ago I updated description within the meta tag of facebook, but change does not reflect when sharing link on facebook. Instead old description still appears. According to Facebook, it scrapes your page every 24 hours to ensure the description (and other share data) are up to date. However, one can manually refresh it by entering the post URL into the Facebook URL Linter I did manually refresh it as well as now waited for 3 days. When i see debugging output from linter, it shows the correct up-to-date description, but old description still shown when sharing a link. How to reproduce: This is our website: https://www.tradeinsports.se/#tis1 (It's in swedish so bear with me please). If you go to above link and click on any of the two available products, and then share on facebook, you can see the difference in description from the one which appears in linter debugging output. Any help would be appreciated.
