  I have designed a asp.net page which create graphs. I have written a class file (which contain a function to render the graph,a function for entering data named insertdata(string[] s,double[] d)) in App_code folder. I pass the value into the insertdata during page load_event. I saw a feature of googlechart.when you pass the value in url address bar it will create a graph according to that passed value. how can i pass the value into the insertdata() function through url address? can anybody help me?

  So, C# 4.0 came out yesterday. It introduced the much-debated dynamic keyword, named and optional parameters. Smaller improvements were the implicit ref and recognizing of indexed and default properties on COM methods, contra- and co-variance (really a .NET CLR feature, not C# only) and... Is that really it? Are dynamic and optional/named params the only real improvements to C#? Or did I miss something? Not that I'm complaining, but it seems a bit meager after C# 2.0 (generics) and C# 3.0 (lambda, LINQ). Maybe the language just reached actual maturity?

The URL I designed like this: http://example.com/site A list of all sites which under control http://example.com/site/{id} A brief overview of select site with ID id http://example.com/site/{id}/user User list of target site http://example.com/site/{id}/item A list of items sold on target site http://example.com/site/{id}/item/{iid} Item detailed information # ...... something similar As you can see, nearly all URL are need the site_id. And in almost all views, I have to do some common jobs like query Site model against database with the site_id. Also, I have to pass site_id whenever I invoke request.route_path.   How do I use comma-separated-value file received from a URL query in Objective-c? when I query the URL I get csv such as "OMRUAH=X",20.741,"3/16/2010","1:52pm",20.7226,20.7594. How do I capture and use this for my application? My problem is creating/initializing that NSString object in the first place. An example is this link "http://download.finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=GBPEUR=X&f=sl1d1t1ba&e=.csv" which returns csv. I dont know how to capture this as an object since I cannot use an NSXMLParser object.

  I'm currently working on benchmarking a RESTful service I've made, and part of that is making sure it runs in a reasonable amount of times for a large array of parameters. For example, let's say I have RESTful API of the form some_site.com/item?item_id=y. In that case to be sure my service is working as fast as I'd like it to work, I'd want to try out many values for y one by one, preferably coming from some text file. I can't figure out any way of doing this in ab or httperf. I'm open to using a different benchmarking program if I have, but would prefer something simple and light. What I want to do seems like something pretty standard, so I'm guessing there must already be a program that let's me do it, but an hour or so of googling hasn't gotten me an answer. Ideas?

  I know the title is a little bit strange, but here is what the URLs look like: /user/xxx/page /user/xxx/page?error=yyy The rule for the first URL looks something like this: RewriteRule ^user/(\d+)/page$ something.pl?id=$1 [L] And to make it work with the second URL, it becomes: RewriteRule ^user/(\d+)/page(error=\d+)?$ something.pl?id=$1 [L] My question is... how do I capture the error number? I tried both of these: RewriteRule ^user/(\d+)/page(error=(\d+))?$ something.pl?id=$1&error=$2 [L] RewriteRule ^user/(\d+)/page(error=(\d+))?$ something.pl?id=$1&error=$3 [L] But it isn't working... I tried to do this by overriding the "import" method but I'm not having much luck. EDIT: To clarify, as it is, I can use my module like this: use MyModule qw/foo bar/; which will import the foo and bar methods of MyModule. But I want to be able to say: use MyModule qw/foo doSpecialStuff bar/; and look for doSpecialStuff to check if I need to do some special stuff at the beginning of the program, then pass qw/foo bar/ to the Exporter's import

• Why do i get a 403 error when viewing a Drupal custom menu item via clean url?

  Hi all, I've created a custom menu item in my Drupal 6 website by defining it in a custom module. This is an extremely simple MENU_NORMAL_ITEM menu item. The menu item is defined as /** * Implementation of hook_menu(). */ function menu_test_menu() { $items['menu_test'] = array( 'title' => 'Menu Test', 'page callback' => 'menu_test_hello', 'access callback' => TRUE, 'type' => MENU_NORMAL_ITEM, ); return $items; } Since I have clean URLs on, the path should be www.example.com/menu_test. That URL gives me a 403 error. But, if I enter www.example.com/?q=menu_test, everything works fine. Why am I getting the 403 error? The menu item is useless because it's always trying to go to the clean URL path, which should work but doesn't for some reason. Thanks for the help!

  i'm a newbie to server-side programming, so please forgive me if this gets messy. i've been contracted to create a web service to allow authenticated users to access a database. users have to enter a login and password. been reading and reading about REST vs SOAP, and i thought i'd settled on a RESTful design when i came across this statement: "Data that needs to be secure should not be sent as parameters in URIs." this seems like a major demerit against a RESTful approach. i'm aware that with https the password would be encrypted to prevent man-in-the-middle interception, but that leaves the server logs and client history as possible exposure points. is there a RESTful solution out there for this problem, or do i need to go SOAPy? any advice appreciated.

  If the function was defined with a prototype which explicitly stated the types of the parameters, eg. void somefunc(int arg1, float arg2); but is implemented as void somefunc(int arg1, ...) { ... } is it possible to use va_arg to retrieve a float? It's normally prevented from doing this because varargs functions have implicit type promotions, like float to double, so trying to retrieve an unpromoted type is unsupported, even though the function is being called with the unpromoted type do to the more specific function prototype. The reason for this is to retrieve arguments of different types at runtime, as part of an obj-c interpreter, where one function will be reused for all different types of methods. This would be best as architecture independent (so that if nothing else the same code works on simulator and on device), although if there is no way to do this then device specific fixes will be accepted.

  I have a function that uses out parameters to return multiple values to the caller. I would like to initialize them in the function, but I wasn't sure if that's a bad idea since you don't know when you call the function that it's going to change the values right away. The caller might assume that after the function returns, if whatever it was doing didn't work, the values would be whatever they were initialized to in the caller. Is it ok / good for me to initialize in the function? Meaning in each index in the List a directory. How can i do it ? Tried with Directory and DirectoryInfo but i just got messed up.
