    I can't find anything recent on this. Is there any documentation on how to track with Google Analytics without using ga.js? I want a JS implementation on mobile devices but I don't want to load up 9KB of local memory or use server-side GA. I'm primarily interested only in tracking page views and uniques. Has anyone rolled their own GA implementation?

    The following URLs point to the same resource: http://www.domain.com/books/123 http://www.domain.com/books/123-Harry-Potter http://www.domain.com/books/123-Harry-Potter-And-The-Deathly-Hallows I would like to use (1) as the canonical URL for OpenGraph/Facebook, so if you "like" (2) and (3) then will count for (1). But I would like to use (3) as the canonical URL for Google, because of SEO. Is this recommended?

I'd like to write an extension that loads a cached version of a page when the online one can't be accessed (e.g. Internet connectivity issue). Updated: I know I could write an NPAPI plugin accessible through an extension to accomplish this but I'd rather not suffer writing one... I am after a solution without resorting to NPAPI, please.

    I'm trying to write some tests (RSpec) against the AppEngine and its datastore. I've tried to load the environment and tests via: appcfg.rb run -S spec app/tests/ And I end up with the following error: spec:19: undefined method `bin_path' for Gem:Module (NoMethodError) I can run non-appengine specs just fine by running: spec app/tests/ Any suggestions on how to get RSpec up and running with JRuby and Google App Engine would be greatly appreciated. For example, I saw this line in a gadget: options(HISTORY_OPTIONS_NAME) = items_.join("|"); which looks like it's assigning to a function call. That's just not OK in JavaScript... what language is this? And what exactly is that line doing?

I have found Lemmon but it seems to be a dead project. The last checkin was in mid 2009... :-/ There is also a eclipse blog entry from april 2009, but it's not a real success story. Has anyone successfully used OSGI in a GAE app?

  • java.lang.ClassNotFoundException using google commons

    I have two classes inside a package. Both call a method from another class, one works perfectly fine and the other gives the error java.lang.ClassNotFoundException and the error java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/common/base/Predicate The class path should be the same for both as they are in he same package so I can't figure out why one has access to the class and the other doesn't? thanks in advance for any help given.
