    As far as I understand. I can use a project licensed under MIT license into a proprietary software. Am I right? It dosen't force any copyleft and I don't have to say that my project is based on something else. That means I can fork the hell out of it, right? Can someone shed some light over this?

  • How do I create a custom python interpreter? i.e. with certain modules already included?

    If you've used Ruby on Rails, I'm thinking of the feature where the user types 'rails console' and instantly gets a Ruby console with rails and the current app already loaded. I want to make something like this for a python program I'm working on, does anyone know how I would get to type say, 'python myPythonConsole.py' and open up a regular python interpreter but with my program and all its dependencies loaded?

    Hi, Let's say I have a string or array which represents a number in base N, N1, where N is a power of 2. Assume the number being represented is larger than the system can handle as an actual number (an int or a double etc). How can I convert that to a decimal string?     hi, I need to come out of the application after some inactivity session I tried using session.invalidate(); but it is not working as i am using basic authentication and i redirected to JSP page where it asks for login again but it is not asking any login credentials directly logging in to application The only way to logout with basic authentication is to close the Webbrowser. I need an API such that after inactivty say 10 mins it should redirect to one JSP page without closing the browser like banking sites will display session expired please login again Thanks in advance, Satya

    Hi, I have an HTML file, i am opening it with webkit,i want to develop an app, such that after opening it, i should be able to select some text and make it highlighted(say by pressing some button 'highlight text' ). And it should remember the highlighted text so that when i open it next time it should highlight the same text automatically...which information i got to store so that i can highlight the same in the next time ? any library is available which makes my work simple?

I was wondering how I could go about detecting some point of time in the video. For eg, say I want to write log to a file when the video has played for 10s. How can I detect the 10s mark?     I've seen this before, but I just can't find it. I am writing a resume and want to include the articles from my bibtex file. If I write \cite{FOO} then they all appear at the end. I know that there is some way to say \something{FOO} and the FOO reference appears here. Basically, I want this section of my CV to look like: \something{FOO1} \something{FOO2} What is the \something? Thanks.

    I realize that this could probably be done easier in any number of other scripting languages but started to do it quick in cmd and now Im curious. Looking to start a process at an offset to the time that another process started. Lets say 5 minutes to keep it simple. Is there a way to add to the %TIME% variable?     Hi, I am having a requirement, where I need to have a pie-chart, i need text around pie-chart , the text should be a hyperlink. Ex: we have 3 three fields A,B,C. A's ratio is 30%, B's ratio is 40%, c's ratio is 30% So pie chart gets divided into 3 parts, outside the graph , we should get the label A(in A's area only), when we point on , tool tip should say "A's ratio is 30 %'.     Hi, How can I implement an autocomplete using redis? Say for example I have an array ["alfred","joel","jeff","addick"]. When I type a I get ["alfred", "addick"] I hope you get the point.     I am looking for a random number generator that can be biased. For instance, say I want a random number between 1-5, with the probability being: 1: Comes up 20% of the time 2: Comes up 10% of the time 3: Comes up 40% of the time 4: Comes up 25% of the time 5: Comes up 5% of the time Is there anything in the standard library, or other libraries out there that would do this? Alternatively, is there an efficient way to do this myself?
