• Wicket Drag and drop functionality for adding an image

  I'm making a wicket app that can manage some options for a cashdesk app. One of the options is to change the image of a selected Product. The user(manager) can choose from the already present images in the database (SQL) when this option is selected, or add a new image if the desired image is not present. Don't mention the test names and awesome images (it's still in test-fase) I prefer to see the adding of an image achieved by Drag and Drop html5 demo [dnd-upload] (From the desktop into the browser) I'm currently using Wicket-6.2.0 and wicket-dnd 0.5.0 and i can't seem to get this working! All examples I can find are from wicket 2.x or lower. It is possible to use drag and drop in Wicket-6.2, but how do I achieve this? There seems to be some DraggableBehavior in wicket? The problem is that I wanted to use this answer to aplly the method on other same problems. But, as I'm very bad at regular expressions, I couldn't. The problem is that I got "some" images with the class "button-banc" and I want this behaive: When you pass the mouse over, "only the actual image" should jump. The problem is that with the code I posted, every image jumps. How can I achieve this, please help; I want to make a generic way, so that if I add images with the class, they also behaive like that.   The short of it is: Is it costly to check an Application Variable such as Application("WebAppName") more 10-20 times each time a page loads? Background: (feel free to critique) Some includes in my site contain many links and images which cannot use relative urls due to their inclusion in different paths. Hence these includes contain frequent instances of <img src="<%=Application("Webroot")%>images\image.gif"> Is it expensive to keep calling an Application variable like this? Should I just put the Application value in some local variable to use where needed? IMPORTANT NOTE: I need my webapp to run fine on a server whether it be in the root web ("/") or in a virtual subweb ("/app"). Thanks in advance for any wisdom shared.

  Hi, I've got some images saved inside a db in a server and want to use them for my iphone. I created a php file so I can access them with json, got some questions though. I save all the text data from the db to a nsdictonary and it works fine. For the images should I use nsdata? Should I write a new php file for getting the image or is one enough because I am using an array to store my objects and then I use json_encode($arr) for json. Is it ok to store data to an array or is everything gonna crash?

  I have a button placed inside a listbox item and i have style defined fro that button where i have two images and on mouse hover i change the image. Now the problem is I am handling the listbox mouse event and when click the button the listbox mouse event doesn't fires. I tried to make the property of button ishittestvisisble=false And now if i click on button the listbox mouse event fires but the problem is the two images placed inside the styling of button don't apply as they are the child of button and by default their ishittestvisible also turn out to be false. So any suggestion or idea will be helpfull ....tx in advance...

  Is it possible to define a virtual directory in IIS and somehow make the files in that directory relative to the physical directory and not to the virtual directory ? For instance on my server I have the following folders: D:\WebSite\Css\myTheme.css, D:\WebSite\Images\image1.jpg I created a virtual directory on IIS resources.mysite: Inside my website I reference the sheet like this resources.mysite/myTheme.css But inside myTheme.css I reference pictures from ../Images/images1.jpg. So the problem is that image1.jpg is not found because it is relative to the physical folder and not the virtual folder on IIS. Can I solve this problem without modifying the style sheet ?

  Hi, I'm writing a Maven plugin that merges CSS files together. So all the CSS files that match /foo/bar/*.css might get merged to /foo/merged.css. A concern is that in a file such as /foo/bar/baz.css there might be a property such as: background: url("images/pic.jpg") So when the file is merged into /foo/merged.css this will need to be changed to background: url("bar/images/pic.jpg") The recalculated URL obviously depends on 3 factors: original URL original CSS file location merged CSS file location Assuming that the original and merged CSS files are both on the same filesystem, is there a general formula (or Java library) that can be used to calculate the new url given these 3 inputs?   I have defined a new LaTeX environment for excursions in a book chapter I am writing. The environment is multipage and often includes inline images. Moreover, I am using the shaded environment to give the environment a background colour to make it stand out a bit. However, the environment, as shown below, is split up by floating tables and images, which makes the flow of the environment visually more difficult to follow. For example, it is now difficult to see if that floating image or table is part (the missing background colour does not help). • Can I programatically determine if a PNG is animated?

  I have PNG (as well as JPEG) images uploaded to my site. They should be static (i.e. one frame). There is such thing as APNG. (it will be animated in Firefox). According to the Wikipedia article... APNG hides the subsequent frames in PNG ancillary chunks in such a way that APNG-unaware applications would ignore them, but there are otherwise no changes to the format to allow software to distinguish between animated and non-animated images. Does this mean it is impossible to determine if a PNG is animated with code? If it is possible, can you please point me in the right direction PHP wise (GD, ImageMagick)?

• tcpdf - HTML table showing up way too small

  Hi folks. I'm using tcpdf (http://www.tcpdf.org/) to generate PDFs of some tables and images. The images are loaded without an issue, but I'm having issues with the writeHTML() function. I can't seem to control the font sizes or table width/height through the HTML, so I end up with a tiny, tiny, tiny table that you have to print of and squint at to even attempt reading. I've tried editing the table itself, CSS, even putting the table itself inside an h1, but nothing is changing the font size. I have the font size in tcpdf set to 16, but this also has no affect. Has anyone else run into this issue?

• Removing whitespace between HTML elements when using line breaks

  I have a page with a row of about 10 imgs. For readability of the HTML, I want to put a linebreak in between each img tag, but doing so renders whitespace between the images, which I do not want. Is there anything I can do other than break in the middle of the tags rather than between them? Edit: Here is a screenshot of what I have so far. I would like the book spine images to display in random combinations, using PHP. This is why I need separate img tags.

• Conflicts between CSS Menu and Image as Links

  There is logo on the top (image as link) and other images as links. These links are not working in FF and safari. The problem is with css/ul/li based navigation menu.   Hi. I m trying to display html file contains with loadDataWithBaseURL() method in android.. I m Just contains Html file data in one String source object then pass it to the method. for e.g String source; //contain html tags with images View.loadDataWithBaseURl(null,source,"text/html","UTF-8","about:blank"); The data displayed in view is fine. My problem is if my html file contains any images then I couldn't displayed it? how can I do that? Can anybody help me?

• Looking for a good Dynamic Imaging Solution

  I work for a small E-Commerce shop and we are looking for a process that will handle resizing our product images dynamically. Currently our designers take high resolution photos, either provided by the manufactures or created in house, and alter them to fit various pages on our site. The designers are constantly resizing, cropping, altering compression levels, etc., of each product photo to fit the needs of the business. Being that our product line is updated frequently, this becomes a monotonous task. Abobe Scene7 does exactly what we are looking to do and the images are served up from a CDN. Unfortunately we found it to be too expensive. I'm curious to learn how others handle this process at their organizations. Does anyone know of any good 3rd party tools or other SAAS providers that can handle performing some basic image manipulation and serving them on the fly?
