  I have a project under my management. It has the following structure: $/Code/MainSolution $/Code/Branches I want to branch the MainSolution in $/Code/Branches So I do it, (it works perfectly), I set a working folder for that project and do a 'get latest'. But when I open that solution in Visual Studio 2005 it identifies every file as new (+ sign in front of the file) and when I commit it it goes to $/Data/NameOfTheBranch Why does it do that? Why doesn't it follow MY rules?

For example, TSD01268 = normal action successful TSD01236 = missing referenced file (fail) TSD01237 = missing script file (fail) TSD00566 = deployment script generated to _ The way we are wrapping calls to VsDbCmd.exe means catching the %errorlevel% isn't always reliable so we also like to check the output for certain error conditions. It would be nice to see a consolidated list somewhere.

  Hello, I am attempting to calculate the miles per gallon for logged fuel full-ups. My table consists of the flowing: FillUp(CarID, Date, ODReading, Gallons, StopGo, Highway, FillupID, MPG) I want to subtract the ODReading from the previous record and divide gallons by this computed value.   I am developing a website in ASP.NET MVC using C#. It works fine on my machine, however when I load it to the production server it generates an error trying to present the home page. The error is caused by the fact that the ASP system is compiling the .ascx pages using Visual Basic, which, of course, does not work since all of the code is in C#. How do I fix this?

  I'm currently having some assembly binding problems on our development server. I want to investigate the problem a bit further with Fusion Log Viewer. Since there is no Visual Studio installed on the machine, I copied FUSLOGVW.EXE to a local folder and started it there. Is this supposed to work or does it need something else? I don't get the impression the application is logging any failures (and yes I have the settings right).

• Reduce visual redundancies in Outlook 2013?

  Outlook 2013 has taken a direction of "how much space can I fill with noise and redundancies". Is it possible to reduce this noise in order to maximize use of screen real estate? For example, in the preview pane, can I shrink the header so that it doesn't include so much info. I don't need any info for the sender and I don't need the subject, as they are both included in the email list pane. Additionally, the ability to turn off the detail bar at the bottom of the preview windows would be helpful. Having Reply/ReplyAll/Forward are also redundant and can go. Is it possible to turn this noise off?

• boost::interprocess::message_queue stops working in Release mode with visual C++

  I am using boost::interprocess::message_queue, with VC++ (in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005). It is working properly in Debug mode. Then when I compile my program in Release mode it stops working, every time I call "try_send" it returns false. I don't understand what could be the settings that are different between Release and Debug mode, and that would make the queue stop working.
