    I'm developing a website that uses some complex computations (NLP-related). My customer wants to have "debugging" webpages for some of these computations where he can run them with arbitrary input and see all the intermediate results that occur during computation. Before this request all of the computations were encapsulated in beans and intermediate results were logged into general log. What is the best way to capture all these results on Java level to render them as webpage?

  • Maximize application in system tray?

    I wrote a little WPF app that when 'closed' minimizes to the system tray (customer requirement). Double clicking pops it back up, or right click gives a context menu to exit. But if the app is minimized, and the users navigate to Start-All Programs-The Application it starts a new instance. What (in C#) do I need to do to get the app to maximize the running instance if the user does this rather than fire up a new instance? Thanks!

    Hi If I have to choose between static method and creating an instance and use instance method, I will choose static methods always. but what is the detailed overhead of creating an instance? for example I saw a DAL which can be done with static classes but they choose to make it instance now in the BLL at every single call they call something like. new Customer().GetData(); how far this can be bad?     I've tried implementing various methods from around the internet, all seem to be providing the same solution. But it just won't work and I'm unsure why, it creates the file, however, it's blank and if I try loading that file, it has an error. Main.java contains the code to save and load the file: 190-224.   • Update Statement Updates 0 Rows via the C# Winform Application?

    First of all, please help me out! I can not take this anymore. I could not find where the error is located. Here is my problem: I'm trying to update a row via c# winform application. The update query generated from the application is formatted correctly. I tested it in the sql server environment, it worked well. When i run it from the application i get 0 rows updated. Here is the snippet that generates the update statement using reflection - don't try to figure it out.   • In .NET, How do I separate xml from compiled resource file?

    We have a customer that would like to modify application user messages that we store in .resx files. I'm thinking this can't be done since the xml file behind the .resx is embedded in a compiled dll. Am I correct? Or, is there a way keep the xml outside of the compiled dll? I realize this can easily be done by other means but I like the ease of the resx file--the classes/properties are created for you.

    Hello: I have a simple webpage that displays the credit balance for calling cards. So far without any problems, with HTML, PHP and mysql, I was able to retrieve the balance from a data base. But I have to display the result in ANOTHER PAGE, wich looks akward because the page must reload. Can I just load this value into a pre-drawed field under the input fields that collect the data from the customer?
