  Hi all, A Grails app I'm working on is becoming pretty big, and it would be good to refactor it into several modules, so that we don't have to redeploy the whole thing every time. In your opinion, what is the best practice to split a Grails app in several modules? In particular I'd like to create a package of domain classes + relevant services and use it in the app as a module. Is this possible? Is it possible to do it with plugins? Cheers, Mulone

  I am using the calender module with it's iCal support for Drupal 6. I have made my event type which appear on the iCal feed. I however want to make the event content type private, so only authenticated users can read it. By doing this they will not show on the iCal feed. Is there any way that I could get the iCal feed to still show these events?

• Is there a full REPL for Erlang?

  Is there a way to have a full interpreter in Erlang, not just a "shell". Since it is a dynamic language, not being able to define named functions in the interpreter is a little bit disappointing... I suspect that it is because compilation units (modules) must be explicitly compiled for their execution by the VM, but maybe a REPL acting as a dynamic/recompilable module exist?

• Is it possible to disable Symfony framework support in NetBeans 6.8?

  Put simply: it causes a massive memory leak within an hour if I work on a Symfony project, and I don't use any of the features that it provides. I've looked through all of the menus and can't seem to see an option to disable support for it. Has anyone attempted or managed to remove this module from the IDE? I quite like NetBeans, but on the rare occasions when I need to work with a Symfony project it's causing me quite a headache.

  What would be a good way to create logs (with python logging module) inside a constant running loop, without producing a large amount of useless log-files? An example would be a loop that constant list a folder, and does some action when it sees a file of a specific type. I want to log that no files were found, or files were found but of a wrong type, without logging that same line constantly for each folder check, as it might run many times a second.

  Hi, I would like to rewrite the collection that is returned by Mage::getResourceModel('sales/order_collection'); My goal is to rewrite this resource so that i can filter out the collection for particular Store. Any ideas on how to do it? I tried directly rewrite collection of the sales/order module but no success. I was able to rewrite sales/order itself but not the collection, because when i call getCollection() it returns "Fatal error: Call to undefined method Mage_Sales_Model_Mysql4_Order::getCollection() " Any idea will help.   I'm trying to install the module mySQLdb on a windows vista 64 (amd) machine. I've installed python on a different folder other than suggested by Python installer. When I try to install the .exe mySQLdb installer, it can't find python 2.5 and it halts the installation. Is there anyway to supply the installer with the correct python location (even thou the registry and path are right)?

  In the source code of the Perl module CGI.pm, in the submodule CGI::Cookies.pm, there is the following line: $raw_cookie = $ENV{HTTP_COOKIE} || $ENV{COOKIE}; I'm interested in $ENV{COOKIE} here. Are there any web servers (obsolete or otherwise) which transmit cookie information using the COOKIE environment variable instead of the HTTP_COOKIE used by Apache? I've never seen COOKIE and other CGI libraries don't seem to support it.
