• Wirelss card not being detected in backtrack 5

  I just installed backtrack 5 and I am unable to detect my wireless card. iwconfig doesn't list my interface. I can see that the hardware is present in lspci -vnn (see below) but I can't get the interface detected. I have tried to reinstall the compat-wireless package but I get errors during the build (see below) I have done a ton of researching and I keep hitting a brick wall, mostly because the wiki for backtrack is down and I can't find any good resources. Does anyone know how to fix the issue? Also, does anyone no how I can scan the hardware to determine what NIC is assigning my interface? If I can figure out the interface name I think I can set it up manually by putting up the link and using wireless-tools to manually configure the connection, this is what I had to do in arch on my mac. As stated the wiki for backtrack is down and I can't find any help on the issue. I tried to do the full kernel upgrade suggested in my software update but after the update was complete and I logged back in I had a new log in manager and the only thing I was able to log into was window managers. However, after this update my wireless was working fine. Please help I am new to Linux and the wiki is down, I have nowhere else to turn. Forgot to mention I am using the KDE version, not Gnome.   I have a server with centos 6.3 and cPanel After the upgrade from php 5.3.16 to php 5.3.19 my site stopped working. When I try to execute an index.php manually I'm receiving the following error. php: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626/memcached.so: undefined symbol: memcached_last_error_errno Reinstalled memcached and memcache via pecl and manually but not helped. What is causing this problem and how to fix it ?

• Reverse proxy a directory through IIS 6 with HTTPS

  I am responsible for demonstrating changes to our software every two weeks. Since the software has both telnet and web interfaces, I think it would help the demo go more smoothly if I could embed a web browser and a telnet client or shell directly into presentation slides, like this: My current idea is to write extensions for LibreOffice to do it, but obviously I don't want to reinvent the wheel if I can help it. I used to have a few good extensions on my status bar in Firefox (Pagerank, AdBlock, etc) and now they all have to be placed in strange locations on the toolbars near the top without easily displaying any relevant information.   Iam running Linux Mint on my laptop and i have some (serious) problems with Google Chrome.Randomly Chrome becomes totally unresponsive and iam not able to do anything,except restart the system from the power button.I think it's not an issue with system load and/or RAM,because if i for example open lot of "heavy" programs everything seems to work quite fine.When i only run Chrome with not many tabs at random times it freezes the whole system.The weird thing is that Chrome is not heavily loaded with tabs or extensions.I can't figure out what is causing this problem.Any suggestion?Thank you in advance.

  I've noticed 1 cool thing and OS X. When you rename a file, it automatically selects everything up until the extension. For example, attempting to rename this.is.a.file.png would preselect this.is.a.file allowing you to quickly rename it whilst preserving the extension. I know I could turn off 'show extensions for known file types', but I like to have them visible. Is there any software that can do this? Thanks
