• Extract the vb code associated with a macro attached to an Action button in PowerPoint

  I have about 25 PowerPoint presentations, each with at least 45 slides. On each slide is a question with four possible answers and a help button which provides a hint relevant to the question. Each of the answers and the help button is a PowerPoint Action button that launches a macro. I am attempting to migrate all the questions/answers/hints into a SQL Database. I've worked with Office.Interop before when working with Excel and Word and I have plenty of SQL DB experience, so I don't foresee any issues with actually extracting the text portion of the question and answer and putting it into the db. What I have no idea how to do is given an object on a slide - get the action button info - Get the macro name - and finally get the macro's vb code. From there I can figure out how to parse out which is the correct answer and what the text of the hint is. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. The guy I'm doing this for said he is willing to do it by hand... but that would take a while.

  My Core Data model contains an entity, Shape, that has two self-referential relationships, which means four properties. One pair is a one-to-many relationship (Shape.containedBy <- Shape.contains) and the another is a many-to-many relationship (Shape.nextShapes <<- Shape.previousShapes). It all works perfectly in the application, so I don't think self-referencing relationships is a problem in general. All works good when i have to save a new Person record, in fact hibernate creates a PERSON_TABLE as i want, but if i try to retrieve a Person record i have an exception. HQL is simply "from Person" The excpetion is (Entities is the package containing all classes above-mentioned): org.hibernate.AnnotationException: @OneToOne or @ManyToOne on Entities.Person.address.municipality references an unknown entity: Entities.Municipality Is the @OneToOne annotation the problem? • PHP form processing - how to capture text from field that has variable Name/ID

  I have a form that has a field pulled from the database as a dropdown. I need to get the text selected in the dropdown but I don't know in advance what the field ID will be. This is basically just a form that has already been generated. I don't need to pull anything from the database, it's already on this page. All I need to do is get the form information and email it, no writing to the database. I know how to do the _Request for the other fields based on the ID but I'm not sure how to do this one. The ID changes. It can be ID=1, ID-2, etc. I need to do something like: _REQUEST form element where ID is LIKE "ID[*]" or something similar. Any suggestions or links to tutorials?   I have the following tables: Photos [ PhotoID, CategoryID, ... ] PK [ PhotoID ] Categories [ CategoryID, ... ] PK [ CategoryID ] Votes [ PhotoID, UserID, ... ] PK [ PhotoID, UserID ] A photo belongs to one category. A category may contain many photos. A user may vote once on any photo. A photo can be voted for by many users. I want to select the ranks of a photo (by counting how many votes it has) both overall and within the scope of the category that photo belongs to. The count of SELECT * FROM Votes WHERE PhotoID = @PhotoID being the number of votes a photo has. I want the resulting table to have generated columns for overall rank, and rank within category, so that I may order the results by either. So for example, the resulting table from the query should look like: PhotoID VoteCount RankOverall RankInCategory 1 48 1 7 3 45 2 5 19 33 3 1 2 17 4 3 7 9 5 5 ... ...you get the idea. How can I achieve this? • Unit testing a Grails custom taglib based on built-in Grails taglib

  I've an app based on Grails 1.3.7. And I need to write a unit test for a custom taglib that is based on the built-in taglib, <g:select /> to be specific. I checked out the solution on this previous SO post but the solution stated is not working in my case (some properties are not being prooperly mocked up). The other solution that I found was this. Using this approach, I get most of the properties of FormTagLib mocked up except for the grailsApplication property that select requires. The actual error that I get is Cannot invoke method getArtefact() on null object. How can I properly write the unit test in such a case? Edit Here are my test class and the full stacktrace. Line #45 on the stacktrace is the call to the g.select from my custom taglib. • Is it a good idea to use MySQL and Neo4j together?

  I will make an application with a lot of similar items (millions), and I would like to store them in a MySQL database, because I would like to do a lot of statistics and search on specific values for specific columns. But at the same time, I will store relations between all the items, that are related in many connected binary-tree-like structures (transitive closure), and relation databases are not good at that kind of structures, so I would like to store all relations in Neo4j which have good performance for this kind of data. My plan is to have all data except the relations in the MySQL database and all relations with item_id stored in the Neo4j database. When I want to lookup a tree, I first search the Neo4j for all the item_id:s in the tree, then I search the MySQL-database for all the specified items in a query that would look like: SELECT * FROM items WHERE item_id = 45 OR item_id = 345435 OR item_id = 343 OR item_id = 78 OR item_id = 4522 OR item_id = 676 OR item_id = 443 OR item_id = 4255 OR item_id = 4345 Is this a good idea, or am I very wrong? I haven't used graph-databases before. Are there any better approaches to my problem? How would the MySQL-query perform in this case?

When I try: Category.objects.filter(type_id = type_g.type_id, parent_id = offset, status = 1) I get an error that get returned more than category, which is fine, because it is supposed to return more than one. But I want to filter the results trough another field, which would be type id (from the second Model) Here it is: class Category_info(models.Model): objtree_label_id = models.AutoField(primary_key = True) node_id = models.IntegerField(unique = True) language_id = models.IntegerField() label = models.CharField(max_length = 255) type_id = models.IntegerField() The type_id can be any number from 1 - 5. I am desparately trying to get only one result where the type_id would be number 1. Here is what I want in sql: SELECT n.*, l.* FROM objtree_nodes n JOIN objtree_labels l ON (n.node_id = l.node_id) WHERE n.type_id = 15 AND n.parent_id = 50 AND l.type_id = 1 Any help is GREATLY appreciated.   Hello, My question is I have a table with the set of records. I am calling a stored procedure for some other purpose. But when ever it finds some duplicate records. It need to return as error message back to php. C1 C2 c3 abc 32 21.03.2010 def 35 04.04.2010 pqr 45 30.03.2010 abc 12 04.05.2010 xyz 56 01.03.2010 ghi 21 06.05.2010 def 47 17.02.2010 klm 93 04.03.2010 xyz 11 01.03.2010 For the above set it need to check for the records that has the same c1. The stored procedure should return as abc,def,xyz are duplicate. I tried something like this. This will not work it has more than 1 set of duplicate records. Please help me to enhance this to solve the purpose. SET @duplicate = (SELECT c1 FROM temp GROUP BY c1 HAVING count(c1) > 1) --Check for duplicate concession Nr.   I am trying to achieve the following thing: use an svg image into a custom button. As you can see I have hardcoded the StaticResource name I want to be able to have a binding with property Image on this Template, something like So that I can set the Image property of the button with the name of the StaticResource I want.
