  • Change dropdown size for .NET touchscreen application

    I'm trying to create a .NET touchscreen application. I would like to be able to create a large dropdown. By increasing the font size, the button stays the same width but increases in height, meaning it's long and thin. Is there a way to 'scale up' .NET controls so they are large in size for touchscreen applications?

    Will .Net 4.0 use a new version of the CLR (v2.1, 3.0) or will it stick with the existing v2.0? Supplementary: Is it possibly going to keep with CLR v2.0 and add DLR v1.0? Update: Whilst this might look like a speculative question which cannot be answered, the VS team appear to be releasing more and more info on VS10 and .Net 4.0 so this may very soon not be the case.     Is it possible to use the Biztalk adapter pack whithout a Biztalk installation (biztalk license is available)? I want to use the Biztalk Adapter for SAP to do RFC calls within a .NET Application (as a replacement of the SAP Connector for .NET, which is unfrotunately no longer maintened by SAP and I don't want to use third party products).   • Google Checkout in ASP.Net MVC

    I have a fairly simple ASP.Net site that uses google checkout (I have an imagebutton with the PostBackUrl set to the Google address passing values of hidden fields) which works fine. I've been moving this app to MVC and I'm not sure how to handle this. I thought about using jQuery form but I don't believe this would work in this situation because there are times when they're redirected to the google pages. Has anyone used google checkout in an asp.net MVC app?

    I have a ASP.NET 3.5 web site with an AJAX update panel. I simply need to process some server side code and then issue a user prompt that says "Code processing complete". I know there is supposed to be support for Msgbox-esque methods in ASP.NET but I can't find them and any other JavaScript based solutions don't work effectively when you have an update panel. Help.

I heard that it is smaller than 3.5, does that mean if I install .net 4.0, it will decrease the space used by the framework?     Hi, I am getting "ASP.NET Session Expired" error when viewing SQL Server 2008 reports using the Microsoft ReportViewer web control. I found this article http://balanagaraj.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/session-has-expired-in-asp-net/ which suggests to use one worker process in IIS application pool, but that may affect performance, is there any other solution for this? I tried setting "AsyncRendering" to false already and that didn't work.

    I'm trying to get Cruisecontrol.NET running with Server 2008/IIS7 and when I try and navigate to the dashboard I get the following error: HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler. I'm a bit lost in IIS7 so it could be something pretty straightforward. They (cc.net) do some funny stuff with http handlers in the web.config which may be related to the problem: Anyone have any pointers?
