  • bracket style border around elements

    I'm looking for a way to implement a bracket style border around my <h2> headings; I've attached an image showing exactly what I'm trying to accomplish. The only way I can think of to achieve this effect is by using images, but I'm unsure of exactly how to do so(all of my <h2>s are of varying length/height, or if maybe there is a better way. Any tips & insight are greatly appreciated.

    i want to remove the id attribute from this image: <img width="270" class="thumb" id="thumb" height="270" src="img/1_1.jpg" /> i tried doing this: $('img#thumb').RemoveAttr('id','none'); but its not remving it! thanks EDIT: $('img#thumb').attr('src', response); $('img#thumb').attr('id', 'nonthumb'); this deosnt load the picture, or in this case the src!! but when i remove the id attribute, it works fine

The problem is that it almost doubles the size of the data. Is there a way to send the image data directly without using any encoding.

    I have a div called "images" which has a width of 277px. Within that div I have 9 images in it, just stored as tags. I've got the images to float left and line up quite nicely within my div, but I would like the images to align vertically, as some are portrait and others are landscape. I know I can do this if I enclose each image in a div, but the plugin I use to launch the gallery won't recognise which image is being fired, so i need to enclose them as just within the tags. This is the code I have, if someone can help me just align the images horizontally and vertically.   • Java Swing: Resize JMenuItem's icon, either automatically or programatically?

    It seems that JMenuItems don't automatically resize any image icon that's assigned to them, and from what I can tell, there isn't a property that makes them automatically do that, either. Is anyone aware of a way that I can programatically resize the Icon for a JMenuItem? It seems like the Icon object is lacking functionality as it is, unless there's some other function that can actually deal with Icon objects.
