• Possible to have ampersands ("&") in URL BEFORE the query string?

  My client is determined to have a page at /nfm&t so I made a directory named nfm&t with an index.html (to test) and that URL is still throwing a 404. So apparently it's not that easy. Any ideas? Or is there a way to just redirect nfm&t to nfmt, so that the URL at least resolves? This is a Windows server, by the way, which throws a wrench into how I'm used to doing redirects.

  I have setup a Bash menu script that also requires user input. These inputs are wrote (appended to) a text file named var.txt like so: input[0]='192.0.0.1' input[1]='username' input[2]='example.com' input[3]='/home/newuser' Now what I am trying to accomplish is to be able to read from var.txt from a script kinda like this: useradd var.txt/${input[1]} now I know that wont work just using it for an example.   I have a dialog with few controls. There is a TextBox named txtControl and two Buttons Accept and Cancel. I want that once the focus is in txtControl, the focus should not go away, until I click on Accept or Cancel button. If I try to click on any other control without clicking on Accept or Cancel button, then focus should remains in txtControl. Also I don't want to disable or gay out other controls.

  Every example I see seems to be for recursively getting files in subdirectories uses files only. What I'm trying to do is search a folder for a particular subdirectory named "xxx" then save that path to a variable so I can use it for other things. Is this possible without looping through all the directories and comparing by name?

  I'm trying to drop a constraint on a db table, something like: ALTER TABLE MyTable drop CONSTRAINT FK_MyTable_AnotherTable But the execution just runs and runs. If I stop it I see: Msg 3727, Level 16, State 0, Line 2 Could not drop constraint. See previous errors. Web search throws up various pages but note that the constraint is properly named and I am trying to remove it using the correct name

  Cannot, for the life of me, see where it's getting WFServiceLibrary1. My feeling is that it's a default that it tries to bind if something isn't right elsewhere. It's also possible the workflow service library was originally named WFServiceLibrary1, but I can't find anywhere to change this. Any ideas?

  I want to write an emacs function that does the following - 1) Start a new shell named "abc". 2) Change the dir "/opt/abc" 3) In the dir run a shell command "python abc.py" I have written the following fucntion - (defun abc-server () (interactive) (shell-command "cd /opt/abc/") (shell-command "python abc.py")) The problem with the above - 1) It doesnt start a new shell 2) It doesnt change the dir. 3) When the cmd executes, it opens a browser window, which completely blocks any usage of emacs.

  I have a sgen step in my .NET 3.5 library, producing a correct XYZ.XmlSerializers.dll in the output directory. Still having poor serialization performance, I discovered that .NET was still invoking a csc at runtime. Using process monitor, I saw that .NET was searching for a dll named "XYZ.XmlSerializers.-1378521009.dll". Why is there a '-1378521009' in the filename ? How to tell .NET to use the 'normal' DLL produced by sgen ?

• How to break out of a loop depending on a CheckBox Checked value while the loop is running?

  Lets say I want to call a function repeatedly if the user selects a CheckBox named "repeat" but the calls to the function should stop as soon as the user 'unchecks' the CheckBox. I tried using the 'Checked', 'Click' and 'Tap' event of the CheckBox but once the loop starts, it does not sense any changes in the checkbox's state. I even tried using a loop inside another button's _Click method, but then that creates a lock on the Button's 'pressed' state. Any ideas/alternate suggestions?
