  • debug=true in web.config = BAD thing?

    We're seeing lots of virtual memory fragmentation and out of memory errors and then it hits the 3GB limit. The compilation debug is set to true in the web.config but I get different answers from everyone i ask, does debug set to true cause each aspx to compile into random areas of ram thus fragmenting that ram and eventually causing out of memory problems?

    Each logfile is titled based on the date it was created in the format YYYY-MM-DD.txt. I need to search each file for five different keywords and output five files prepended with the specific keyword and then the original logfile name. Example: Test-YYYY-MM-DD.txt grep -i -w 'keyword1' YYYY-MM-DD.txt Keyword1-YYYY-MM-DD.txt If it's also possible to email each new file to a different person, that would be helpful as well.

    I would like to quickly retrieve the median value from a boost multi_index container with an ordered_unique index, however the index iterators aren't random access (I don't understand why they can't be, though this is consistent with std::set...).     For development, I guess it is fine to use a plugin like https://github.com/stephenplusplus/grunt-wiredep But for production I would like to use CDN where such exists. Does it exist a Grunt plugin that goes through the bower.json file and replaces this with a CDN-link from the most popular ones (and if a component is present in more than one CDN, then pick one based on rank-setting or random or something).

  • JQuery. Layout is shaking during animation

    Hello everybody, JQuery accordion animation (as well as simple hides / shows) looks weird with some browsers (IE, Opera). But Fire Fox and Chrome renders animation perfectly without artifacts. Html layout tends to shake with IE / Opera during animation as if surrounding paddings / margins are changed for small random value. How can I minimize this effect. Is it jquery bug or browsers issue?

    Me and my friends play Age of Empires every weekend and create an Ad-hoc network each time before playing. But each time we all get the SAME IP Address even if a new ad-hoc network is created. Is this something to do with the Game's algorithm or does the laptop remember our previous IP Address. EDIT: What is the algorithm that is used to distribute the IP Addresses? If the algorithm uses random function how come same IP addresses are being allocated.
