  I have Intel HD 3000 graphics card onboard and nvidia 520 mx optimus techolonogy card. I was try to install Nvidia driver but it was failure. Now I cant use anything.   I've found plenty of questions between here and StackExchange of people asking for the 'best' data grid / data table, or one that has a particular feature, and plenty of lists out there (of various ages) listing the various data grid implementations ... but is anyone aware of any matrix of what features the various solutions implement? (eg, allow shift-click to select multiple; support checkboxes for selection; can update a regular table in-place; allow editing of cells; support websql or indexeddb for local caching; which browsers they support; infinite scroll; etc.) There's a generic 'javascript framework' comparison on wikipedia, which would be the sort of thing I'm looking for, but it doesn't go into detail on data grids. (which makes sense, as so many are extensions, not core features of those frameworks, and in the case of jQuery, there's lots of 'em.)

• DualBoot 32Win & 64Mac from Live USB +Persistance

  So I have a 32 bit Live USB with persistance that I use to write code, cause that's just how I roll. I can boot it onto my school computers(32 bit Win) no problem, but obviously not my Mac (2007 iMac, 64 Bit). Currently I use VMWare Fusion 6 Pro and a Plop Linux image to use the usb at home, but I can only get 900mb of ram for my VM. I was hoping to make a Live USB that can boot 32 bit and 64 bit for mac, with a shared persistance file, this way I can use my computer's full 2GB. Also, I'm not allowed edit any part of this Mac. Do Not reply telling me it's impossible. Please only solutions. Thank you, and have a unicorntastic day!

  I faced this issue when I try to deploy a solution and it failed initially due to SharePoint 2010 Administration service is not started. I then started the service and redeploy the solution; however I face the above issue. To fix it, you need to cancel the current deployment then redeploy the solution. Problem: Solution: To fix it, you need to cancel the current solution deployment. Go to CAà System Settings àManage farm solutions and then cancel the deployment.   I'm currently developing a video player software which intended to be an embeedded player. I'm using Java with VLCJ library for the video player. What i'm looking is a way, something to transform the audio output to make the output sound as oldman or a kid (pitch shifting, i guess is the name). VLC have this when enabling time stretch, but the video play speed is affected (slower to get oldman sound, but fast-forward-alike to get kid voice effect. Is there any solutions for this? I don't find this feature on VLC(J), so i think what i need is the audio output of the ubuntu itself (Ubuntu 12.04) to do this job. something like filtering audio output system wide. Any software or setting to do this? it also need to be controllable via command line to provide realtime effect changing. Thanks in advance.

• 14.04_x64 / Nvidia GT 240 , HUGE font notificaton at greeter and in naulitus after log-in

  I've been using 12.04 for a long time - excellent version indeed, I decided to try 14.04 today. Installing without any problems. My VGA is Nvidia GT240 (legacy one), Nouveau display driver is fine, font display is normal. Then, I decided to install Nvidia legacy binary driver 304.117 updates (proprietary) instead of default Nouveau display driver. Problems come after rebooting At Greeter a notification "Wired connection 1 -Connected" pop up but with a HUGE font. After log-in HUGE FONT symptom still remains at some parts - for example, Calendar, Desktop shortcut and Files explorer. within few seconds, 10 to 15 may be, there is a screen blink but HUGE font still remains. I have to log out then log in again to have normal font in all parts of system. Changing driver, even an update one form ppa:xorg-edgersnot doesn't solve the problem. Any advices or solutions will be appreciated.

• Should I try to write simple key-value storage by myself?

  I need a key-value storage in a simplest form we can think of. Keys should be some fixed-length strings, values should be some texts. This key-value storage should have an HTTP-backed API. That's basically it. As you can see, there is no big difference between such storage and some web application with some upload functionality. The thing is - it'll take few hours (including tests and coffee drinking) to write something like this. "Something like this" will be fully under my control and can be tuned on demand. Should I, in this specific case, not try to reinvent bicycles? Is it better to use some of existing NoSQL solutions. If yes, which one exactly? If, say, I'd needed something SQL-like, I won't ask and won't try to write something by myself. But with NoSQL I just don't know what is adequate and what is not.

  This is the obligatory first posting in which I describe to you my plans for this blog and why you should read it. My plan is very simple – to share with you (and possibly myself along the way) relevant information about tools and techniques that you can use (or perhaps shouldn’t use) to solve problems with code. Most of my employers have paid me to develop solutions using Microsoft tools and technologies, so you will see them heavily represented here. I also plan to avoid having this blog function simply as a link aggregator, so I promise that it will be rare for you to find entries in my blog consisting solely of a link to someone else’s blog or a webcast – if I do have such links they will at least be accompanied by commentary. This is my first venture into the world of blogging, so please let me know how I'm doing (be nice) and feel free to suggest/request topics for future entries.

  I am currently administrating two servers: first one has no control panel, I am creating directory structure, setting permission, configuring different aspects (users/php-fpm pools, nginx hosts..) for each of sites. With more clients, I sat up ISPConfig on my second server, everything is easily handled by ISPConfig Web Interface. However, I am searching for a CLI based solution, i.e. a set of scripts to create and manage hosts. Basically, a method to control ISPConfig from the command line (so I can use it over SSH) would be a good start. Does anybody know of such effort? I searched but all I got was web based solutions.   I am implementing customer specific code and currently following simple approach like if (cusomterId == 23) do it. I want to separate out all the customer related code in separate place. But I have following problems. In code is in 1. Stored procs 2. Plain old classes. 3. Controllers 4. Views I came up with two solutions. First is to create table CustomerFunctionlity with columns CustomerId, FunctionalityName, method/Proc, inputs/outputs With this table I can simply check if exists, execute given function. Another way is creating a factory which returns customer related object for an interface. I am writting small end to end customer specific functionalities. How can I write maintenable code. Thanks

  I want to permanently mount a few Windows shared folders. I googled that topic and found a lot of good answers, but with all the solutions I have a little problem: I believe I can't properly give an address of shared folder. I can find it following way: "Network" - "Windows Network" - "WORKGROUP_name" - "Computer_name" - and there is some folder i would like to mount. How can I write the path to the folders in terminal? UPD i can access needed folder throw address in location bar smb://server/ro/, but i try mount it by editing /etc/fstab file (using guide https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MountWindowsSharesPermanently) i get error mount error: could not resolve address for server: Unknown error PS in /etc/fstab : //SERVER/RO /media/server cifs username=user,password=pwd, uid=1000,iocharset=utf8 0 0

Like why don't we fill in this field why didn't we use memcache over a custom solutions. These decisions add up over time and become a significant part of style guides coding standards and unit tests. Anyone out there who could help? thanks a lot!
