  • Displaying a list of Items in a WPF form using XAML

    Hi guys, I am attempting to display a list of items (the style and controltemplate for these items are defined elsewhere) and i want to be able to add/remove as many as i want to. As i do not have infinite screen realestate I am displaying these in a ListBox control. This is the screen i have to date: What is going to happen is this. When i click the New button, i want the item to appear in the outlined area. So now for the problem: I want, when i click the New... Button, a new item to appear in the ListBox (outlined). Is it possible to do this using XAML? I am trying to work on seperating the business logic from the interface, so if there were some way to acheive this in XAML i would appreciate it. If not,can i use the custom templated item i have created in C# so that it will appear as the template specifies in the list box instead of like a normal ListBoxItem Thanks in advance!

  • not getting a page reload when submitting a form on a page

    When showing a project, the user can add a decision via a form_for and its partial. Is there some way of avoiding reloading the page and just creating the record silently? In the controller method (adddecision) I have: respond_to do |format| if @decision.save format.html { redirect_to(@project) } format.xml { head :ok } else format.html { render :action => "show" } format.xml { render :xml => decision.errors, :status => :unprocessable_entity } end I've tried redirect_to(:back) etc - still getting a page reload.

    i have the following ets structure: SomeTable = ets:new(sometable, [bag]). ets:insert(SomeTable, [ {set1,item1}, {set1,item2}, {set1,item3}, {set2,item1}, {set2,item2}, {set2,item4}]). i want to get intersection of set1 and set2 using ets:select and fun2ms, result will be [item1, item2]. i spent hours and hours trying to accomplist it with ets:select and fun2ms with no success. can you help me out using ets:select and fun2ms? thanks for all answers! ps: i know about sets module, but i have to use ets and this exact data structure.

  • How do I reset a form in an ajax callback?

    I am sending a form using simple ajax and returning the results in a div above the form. The problem is that after the form is submitted and validated, I display a thank you and want to reset the form so they don't just press the submit button again... Can't seem to find the right code to do this... <form id="myForm" target="sendemail.php" method="post"> <div id="results"></div> <input type="text" name="value1"> <input type="text" name="value2"> <input type="submit" name="submit"> </form> So, my sendemail.php validation errors and success messages appear in #results without problems. But... when I try to send back a javascript form reset command, it does not work. Naturally I cannot see it in the source code since it is an AJAX callback so I don't know if that is the issue or if I am just using the wrong syntax. echo "<p>Thank you.     Hi! I hope that someone could help me with reading exe files in C# and create a SHA1 hash from it. I have tried to read from executable file using StreamReader and BinaryReader. Then using built-in SHA1 algorithm I tried to create a hash but without success. The algorithm results for StreamReader was "AEUj+Ppo5QdHoeboidah3P65N3s=" and for BinaryReader was "rWXzn/CoLLPBWqMCE4qcE3XmUKw=". Can anyone help me to acheive SHA1 hash from exe file? Thx. BTW Sorry for my English ;)

    I've added a toggle button to TinyMCE (using the jQuery plugin version) that looks like: $('a.mce_show').click(function(){ // toggle all textareas $('.wysiwyg').tinymce().show(); }); $('a.mce_hide').click(function(){ // toggle all textareas $('.wysiwyg').tinymce().hide(); }); The problem is if you hide the editor, make a change and click 'submit' it'll discard the change. If you hide the editor, make a change, show the editor then click submit it'll be fine. How do I get it to submit properly without having to re-show the editor?

  • Symfony dynamic forms

    Hi there, I started with a form, which is made by hand because of it's complexity (it's a javascript modified form, with sortable parts, etc). The problem is that now I need to do the validation, and it's a total mess to do it from scratch in the action using the sfValidator* classes. So, I am thinking to do it using sfForm so that my form validation and error handling can be done more easier and so I can reuse this form for the Edit and Create pages. The form is something like this: <form> <input name="form[year]"/> <textarea name="form[description]"></textarea> <div class="sortable"> <div class="item"> <input name="form[items][0][name]"/> <input name="form[items][0][age]"/> </div> <div class="item"> <input name="form[items][1][name]"/> <input name="form[items][1][age]"/> </div> </div> </form> The thing is that the sortable part of the form can be expanded from 2 to N elements on the client side. So that it has variable items quantity which can be reordered. How can I approach this problem? Any ideas are welcome, thank you. :)

  • jquery form dialog dissapears if i use effect

    i am using JqueryUI and everything was fine until i tried to jazz it up and added an effect for showing and closing the dialog. Now the dialog appears and disappears in an instant. I am using CAKEPHP, if that matter and still have cake.generic.css on and the debug option on, but i dont see how this could matter.

  • "Downloading" a computed value form JavaScript

    I'm hoping you can prove me wrong here (please, please, please! ;). I have a situation where I need to download encrypted data from a Server D (for "Data"). Server K (for "Key") has the encryption key. For security sake, I would really prefer that Server D never know the key that Server K knows. What I want is my client (e.g. your browser) to connect to Server D for the data and Server K for the key and doe the decryption locally so the unencrypted stuff never leaves your computer. I can do this fine for text areas in the dom by replacing the contents of the HTML. However, sometimes, I would like to do larger files that I stream to the file system. For instance, perhaps I want to encrypt a movie and decrypt it and stream the contents to the my video player. I am not a JavaScript guru by any stretch, especially when it comes to the edge cases of things like the security sandbox. For Small D, I can handle the decryption, but I don't know how to save the decrypted file. Large D seems problematic as memory runs out. Anybody have any ideas that don't involve native plugins? Thanks!
