  • How can I resolve circular dependencies in Funq IoC?

    - by Rickard
I have two classes which I need to reference each other. class Foo { public Foo(IBar bar) {} } class Bar { public Bar(IFoo foo) {} } When I do: container.RegisterAutoWiredAs<Foo, IFoo>(); container.RegisterAutoWiredAs<Bar, IBar>(); and when I try to resolve either interface I get a circular dependency graph which results in an eternal loop. Is there an easy way to solve this in Funq or do you know of a workaround?

  • Validation framework for .NET Compact Framework 3.5.

    - by Michal Drozdowicz
Do you know of a fast and simple entity validation framework that could be used in a Compact Framework project? I've done some experiments with FluentValidation (using db4o System.Linq.Expressions, but it's rather slow) and EViL (but it seems a bit half-baked). Can you suggest any other or maybe point me to some resources on how to design such a framework so that it's both easy to use and performant?

  • Create Excel document from a ContentType in SharePoint

    - by Saab
Is it possible to create an Excel document using VSTO, using a SharePoint contenttype? Creating a document in VSTO based on a template is easy. Workbook newWorkbook = this.Application.Workbooks.Add(@"C:\temp\TestTemplate.xltx"); But the "template" that's assigned to a content type in SharePoint has xlsx as an extension.

For example the first row should produce 1,'AA' 1,'AB' 1,'AC' 1,'AD' Can we do it using only SQL. This is failry easy to do in Oracle.

  • Best way to fetch remote RSS through authenticated proxy and parse it

    - by grajea
I'm trying to get a remote RSS through proxy and parse it. I'm using magpierss, but it doesn't allow reaching internet through a proxy (or I don't know how to do it). I assume the option is to, first, fetch the rss with curl functions, that allows proxy authenticating, but .... are there any class to do this in a easy way, or ... does magpie support using proxy, and how? Thanks in advance.

  • Currency Format in C# to shorten the output string

    - by james.ingham
Hey, I currently have a Currency Format method: private string FormatCurrency(double moneyIn) { CultureInfo ci = new CultureInfo("en-GB"); return moneyIn.ToString("c", ci); } I'm looking to adapt this to shorten the string as the currency get's larger. Kind of like how stack overflow goes from 999 to 1k instead of 1000 (or 1.6k instead of 1555). I imagine that this is a relativly easy task however is there any built in function for it or would you just have to manually manipulate the string? Thanks

    - by REALFREE
I'm trying to write a simple recursive function that look over list and return a pair of integer. This is easy to write in c/c++/java but i'm new to ocaml so somehow hard to find out the solution due to type conflict it goes like.. let rec test l = match l with [] - 0 | x::xs - if x 0 then (1+test, 0) else (0, 1+test);; I kno this is not correct one and kinda awkward.. but any help will be appreciated

  • How does _mm_mwait works?

    - by osgx
Hello How does _mm_mwait from pmmintrin.h works? (I mean not the asm for it, but action and how this action is taken in NUMA systems. The store monitoring is easy to implement only on bus-based SMP systems with snooping of bus.) What processors does implement it? Is it used in some spinlocks?

  • ruby Test::Unit Command line options?

    - by Joe Soul-bringer
Hi all, When running tests in Ruby's unit::test framework, is there a really easy way to specify, from the command-line, that only one test should be run (that is, specify the test class and test member variable)? If not, is there another framework that has this feature?

  • Hosting Microsoft Office application inside Silverlight 4?

    - by Ivan Zlatanov
I know that Silverlight 4 has the support for COM interop via the AutomationFactory class. dynamic excel = AutomationFactory.CreateObject( "Excel.Application" ); excel.Visible = true; Easy. But this creates a separate process for the COM object. What I am missing here is if I am actually able to actually host the office document inside my silverlight application - in a ContentPresenter for example? Thanks in advance.

  • Invoking cl.exe (MSVC compiler) in Cygwin shell

    - by barcarole
I'm heavily using Cygwin (with Putty shell). But, it's quite tricky to invoke cl.exe (i.e., Visual C++ compiler toolchain) in the Cygwin bash shell. Running vcvars*.bat in the bash shell doesn't work obviously. I tried to migrate VC++'s environment variables to Cygwin, but it's not that easy. Is there anyone who ever tried to run VC++ compiler in Cygwin bash shell? Thanks, JJ

  • Good Package for Fitting Polynomial Trend Lines

    - by Rev316
Given a simple data set, I would like to be able to calculate a trending formula given it's a second order polynomial regression. In fact, it would be great if one could even forecast X periods during calculation (similar to what Excel does). I'm looking for a portable C/C++ package that's relatively easy to use, and allows it to spit out the "best-fit" (highest R^2 value) curve. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Is there a twitter API that returns mood? I have seen some websites that return the mood of a specific tweet and I want to be able to use an API (or to use some open source code) to get the mood of a tweet, does anyone know if there is an easy way to do that or if there is an already built API for this?

  • Django Python Macports

    - by MacPython
I installed Django via Macports. I wasted a lot of time on making it work. It still does not work. I would like to COMPLETELY uninstall Django (Macports) and install with the easy install (DJANGO). I would like to keep Macports and not uninstall it, because I read it SHOULD be useful. How can I achieve this? Thank you for your attention.

  • Android JARSIGNER GUI tool?

    - by BahaiResearch.com
Newbie question. After I have written the Android App (easy part) I need to sign it and upload it (seems the hard part) Is there an Open Source app or tool that I can use to do this so that I don't have to write command shell scripts. JARSIGNER looks overly complex. I'm looking for a dead simple Sign-And-Package up tool. I am using Eclipse with the Android plug in.

  • W3C dom api in Java

    - by Benju
Take a look at the example code... NodeList folderNodes = document.getElementsByTagName("Folder"); DocumentFragment node = (DocumentFragment) folderNodes.item(0); It was very easy to do "getElementsByTagName" on the document but when I want to do this again on the DocumentFragment it seems I cannot. How do I go about furthering this query?
