    Hi friends, when I run the url at localhost for a php file like: http://localhost/project/admin/ it doesnt open the index.php, but gives panel for downloading the file with the message below :/ You have chosen to open which is a: application/x-httpd-php from: http://localhost What should Firefox do with this file? Openwith - Save... etc... any idea what is going on? :( appreciate helps!! thanks a lot

  • Selenium RC slower on Windows 7 than on XP?

    I've got two systems, one with Windows XP and another with 7, both running Firefox 3.6, the same version of Selenium RC and the newest nunit. When I run tests on 7, it is executed extremely slowly (I mean walking by textbox and setting its values), but when I execute this script on Windows XP it is extremely fast. Do you have the same experience? Do you know what the problem might be?

    Hi all, I have a strange bug. I create a qx.ui.table.Table and if not all specified columns fit into window (horizontal scroll appear) my browsers (firefox 3.5.6 and chrome 5.0.344) hangs. If i just set width for window large (e.g. from 600px to 800px) - all works fine. May be I'm doing something wrong? Or how can I fix/avoid this 'strange' behaviour?

    Dear all, By default GWT RichTextArea is transparent against the body background etc, this is true for Firefox, Chrome and Safari. But for Internet Explorer, it is not. Changing the css for like background-color etc doesn't seems to help, it is still giving me a white background within RichTextArea. Need your assistance, thanks in advance :)

  • Grid 960 bug in Internet Explorer 8?

    If you go to the "Variable Grid System" generator and have: column width = 20 number of columns = 12 and gutter width = 60 ...the system provides a content width of 900 and a full width of 960. http://www.spry-soft.com/grids/ Now, this is all fine and dandy in Firefox, Chrome, and even IE6, but when you load those settings in IE8, you end up with the actual full width as 1000px, not 960px. Has this issue been encountered before?

  • Jquery slider going the wrong way

    Im using a jquery slider and having an issue with what direction it scrolls on click. It seems to screw up after clicking the right arrow then left, but will scroll left if clicked first, weird. Is this a bug or am I missing something here?     I'm trying to log the change of a value in the console (Firefox/Firefly, mac). if(count < 1000) { count = count+1; console.log(count); setTimeout("startProgress", 1000); } This is only returning the value 1.     i have a group of radio buttons that are generated on the fly from the db into a partial control then rendered on the page as html and they all have the same name now in firefox and chrome the following code works fine $(".FlightSelectedRadio").live('click', function() { alert("after flight select"); $("#ToisGarantueedBid").attr("disabled", false); }); however in ie it doesnt work on the first select of a radio but only fires if u select something else ? any ideas wat the problem is ?

  • Dropdownlist width in IE

    In IE, the dropdown-list takes the same width as the dropbox (i hope i am making sense) whereas in Firefox the dropdown-list's width varies according to the content. This basically means that i have to make sure that the dropbox has to be wide enough to display the longest selection possible. this makes my page look very ugly :( Is there any workaround for this problem? How can i uses CSS to set different widths for dropbox and the dropdownlist?

    Is it possible to check for a right-click on a menu item in .NET? It appears that the framework doesn't expose it as an Event, but I've seen other applications (like Chrome and Firefox) which allow you to bring up a right-click context menu for a menu item. Presumably with a little event-loop magic you can do the same thing in .NET, right?
