  • JSTree select_node event and checkbox

    Hi there! I have a jstree in which I used the select_node event to toggle nodes(expand), and have therefore removed the toggle arrows in the tree since they look ugly and I've no need for them. Now I've added the checkbox plugin to use within the tree, but have found the select_node event is disabled when the plugin is active. How would I toggle my nodes with the checkbox plugin active, without re-adding the ugly toggle arrows? I could do it in the check/uncheck event, but I don't want to check/uncheck everytime I expand a node.

  • XML XHR Request resultin in 0 stauts and empty response text.

    I had another post for the same problem... I think I put the question in a wrong way.. Let me give more details: i have test.html in my c:\ drive and I have a local webserver runnin in qt, and i have some plugin written to that webserver which will get the request and send some response text "hello". in test.html i m making a xml xhr request which will make a GET request like localhost:8080/test which will return the text "hello" by that plugin. Now if I directly open test.html from C:\ it doesnt work, i mean i get response 4 and status 0, and response text nothing.. but the request is passing through webserver and plugin It works fine, when the test.html is put in the webserver pages directory.

    For me, it was Forth, way back at the end of the eighties! Yes, almost prehistory. But I was an un-degree-ed programmer, unable to afford college, self-taught C and Assembly, and not enough experience to open doors. I was invited to work in software engineering, my dream job by the engineering manager of my company, but...I had to do it in Forth, and the company was willing to teach me. The position was my start into embedded systems programming, and man did I learn a lot! Like, just how easy C and Assembly language REALLY could be! But it was a good journey, and though I never coded again in Forth, my fear of not being able to learn C and Assembly proficiently disappeared... ;-)

For example: index.php - the main plugin file info.php - returns an array with plugin information install.php - self-explanatory can you think of an elegant, short-hand name for a PHP file that contains the code that is to be executed before any HTML is output? Do any examples from other frameworks come to your mind? What I have been thinking of: head.php - misleading, could be mixed up with HTML <head> before_output.php - clumsy, too long init.php - not exactly correct start.php - current favourite

So I decided to use Spring Security OAuth plugin. I have configured the plugin. Now I want user can access both via normal local account and also the OAuth authentication.   • Creating a virtual, data-driven section of a Wordpress-powered site

    Hello all, I want to create a plugin for wordpress to automatically serve pages containing data pulled from a provider's API. The API returns one or more records containing data for that record and I simply want to have the plugin intercept the request, call the API with parameters pulled from the request URI and display the data using a template that I can either let them upload to the server or let them copy and paste into the plugins admin settings. For example, I may want one of my wordpress installations to show products pulled from such an API under the url "example.com/products". The plugin would catch that request, extract the variables from the URL, call the API and render the template with the returned results. I'd like to avoid requiring editing the .htaccess file like some caching plugins do. Some of the admins of these pages won't know how to do that or simply won't have access to the .htaccess file.   • jQuery version of YAHOO.lang (isUndefined, isNull, isString etc.)

    Does anyone know of a jQuery plugin that has 'helpers' or extensions like those found in the YAHOO.lang namespace? I have in mind functions such as: isNull isDefined isString isFunction I would also appreciate the same kind of thing for strings and arrays, such as Contains, StartsWith (I know these are easy to write, I'm just looking for a plugin that encompasses them all). It's not in the YAHOO.lang namespace but also form related extensions- determining a radiobox's value (from the one checked), a form element's type in a friendly name. Specifically a plugin with fluent API rather than selector based such as $("input[@type=radio][@checked]") Again I'm aware they're easy to implement but I don't want to reinvent the wheel.

    Hi I am not sure that I understand Isolated storage. I read the article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/3ak841sy%28VS.80%29.aspx 1) Why I don't just use App data folder? 2) In the link above : "With isolated storage, data is always isolated by user and by assembly. Credentials such as the origin or the strong name of the assembly determine assembly identity. Data can also be isolated by application domain, using similar credentials." I can't think about a scenario that makes this future important. In general I don't understand the philosophy and the need of "isolated storage" which inspire MS to create such a thing. Thanks

  • Using WPFPerf to profile a WPF 4.0 application doesn't show me any information

    I am trying to use WPFPerf to profile a WPF 4.0 application (I have the latest WPFPerf that should work on WPF 4.0 aps). I start the tool Visual Profiler from WPFPerf, I start my aplication, but after that nothing happens and the element tree from the Visual Profiler is empty. No other error message is shown. Can anyone tell me what am I not doint right? As an additional information, when I try to analize my .exe assembly or any other assembly from my application, I get a BadFormatException saying that the assembly was build with a newer version of .NET. From the download page http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=191420 I see that this version of WPFPerf should be ok for my app

  • Why specifcially in my example does this "too much recursion" error occur in my JavaScript?

    I have been looking into this for a little while now. I have a gallery on my page, that uses Ariel Flesler's scrollTo plugin. It works fine on the home page, but not on the Contact page. In Firefox, I get the error... Too much recursion I have sorted through as much code as possible and set breakpoints in a few places. I am pretty sure it is something to do with the plugin (specifically, when it is called in the click handler). For your convenience, I am using the unpacked versions of jQuery and scrollTo plugin. What on earth am I doing wrong? Thanks for your time.

  • Help with understanding why UAC dialog pops up on Win7 for our application

    We have a C++ unmanaged application that appears to cause a UAC prompt. It seems to happen on Win7 and NOT on Vista Unfortunately the UAC dlg is system modal so I can't attach a debugger to check in the code where it is, and running under msdev (we're using 2008) runs in elevated mode. We put a message box at the start of our program/winmain but it doesn't even get that far, so apparently this is in the startup code. What can cause a UAC notification so early and what other things can I do to track down the cause? EDIT Apparently the manifest is an important issue here, but it seems not to be helping me - or perhaps I am not configuring the manifest file correctly. Can someone provide a sample manifest? Also, does the linker/UAC magic figure out that the program "might" write to the registry and set its UAC requirements based on that? There are code paths that might trigger UAC, but we are not even at that point when the UAC dlg comes up. An additional oddity is that this does not seem to happen on Vista with UAC turned on. But now ran into the following situation; return View("~/Plugin/Plugin.Product.dll/Plugin.Product.Views.CreateProduct.ascx"); From a controller i'm returning a view a shown above. ReSharper 5 is trying to resolve this view, but can't find it. Which is explainable in my situation. What i want is to disable the option for ReSharper to try and resolve the views.   • Stretch image to fill div, but not skew

    I'm trying to make an image stretch to fit inside a div. However I want it to overflow so that the entire div is filled. The div resizes with the page. I want an effect similar to the jQuery bgstretcher plugin (http://www.ajaxblender.com/bgstretcher-2-jquery-stretch-background-plugin-updated.html) , but I cannot use that plugin because I'm already using it for the background image on the page, and it seems to not work when you try and activate multiple instances of it. So what I'm asking is for some sort of simple jQuery function that resizes an image to completely fill a div with overflow hidden, so that there are no gaps, but without skewing the image. Edit: http://jsfiddle.net/R7UCZ/ That's sort of what I'm after, but I want the image to fill the entire div without skewing. If the image goes out of the div a bit, that's fine, but I need it to resize with the div, which resizes with the page, both height and width.

User 1 uploads a plug-in which allows implements Act 1 User 2 uploads a plug-in which allows implements Act 2 A plug-in in this case is .net assembly. Now in this scenario, if we have to store all the assemblies - what would be the best place? Also, the plug-in would require to be versioned so execution can happen of a particular version. Further considering the plug-in engine is installed on multiple machines or on same machine as different instances (similar to sql server). Would a centralized database (sql server 2005) with a table to store all the assembly be a good idea (centralized backup etc.,) (assembly size would be around 500kb to 1MB)

    The book of CLR via C# has this line at page 76. When you install the .NET Framework, tow copies of Microsoft's assembly files are actuall installed. One set is installed into the compiler/CLR directory, and another set is installed into GAC subdirectory I could find the GAC at C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly, but I couldn't find the compiler/CLR thing. What's the physical directory name of compiler/CLR? I mean, where is it? Why there are two GAC in assembly directory? I find GAC_32 and GAC_MSIL.

    Question: where does Eclipse store the list of files it opens on startup? Background: Having installed a plugin into Eclipse which promptly crashed, my Eclipse workspace is in a bit of a state. When started, the building workspace task pauses indefinitely at 20%. Before I uninstall the plugin I want to give it another chance. I have a feeling that the reason Eclipse is pausing is because of a file which was opened when it crashed, which it tries to reopen on startup. If I can stop this file from opening on startup there's a chance I may be able to coax the plugin to behave. The problem is I have no idea where that list of files is persisted between runs of Eclipse. ...a second before I posted this question, I realised I could just delete the file causing the problem (duh). However, the search has frustrated me enough to want to find the answer.

    Until now, I've been using acts_as_taggable_on plugin for tagging announcements. That plugin creates the following tables: taggings: relates tags and announcements table(for the tagged item, it has a field called taggable_id, which I rename to "announcement_id" for what I'll explain below). tags: has the tag ids and names. The other day, I discovered that I had no way of getting the announcements tagged with a certain tag, but doing Announcement.tagged_with(tag_name), and I don't want to search by name, but for id. So, as I'm using almost nothing of the functionality in that plugin, I decided to create the models for taggings and tags tables, to accomplish this: Announcement.tags. The models' relationships look as following: class Tagging < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :announcement belongs_to :tag end class Tag < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :announcements, :through => :taggings end class Announcement < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :tags, :through => :taggings Why can't I execute the command Announcement.tags? Because when I try, I get undefined method `tags'

  • Cannot install netbeans on Gentoo

    I'm trying to install Netbeans on my Gentoo system and I just cannot get it to work. When I'm compiling it It fails due to not being able to locate org.apache.maven.project.MavenProject. [nb-javac] class file for org.apache.maven.project.MavenProject not found I'm suspecting it has something to do with the installation not being able to find several files. However these are reported as warnings. The missing files have a version in their filenames, the files that are on the disk have a version number that is slightly off.     So you are trying to reverse engineer an Oracle database with roo? Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions with the Oracle JDBC Drivers, this is a little difficult. There are a few blog posts and forum threads that address the problem but I figured I would post what worked for me here. First, you need to download the appropriate Oracle Drivers from Oracle. The required login, stringent password requirements, nosy registration form, and general system instability made this a pretty painful step for me. I’d also like to say that companies that have password requirements that don’t allow symbols (or any other non-standard requirement) have a special place in my heart. Having to recover my password every time I go to your site virtually guarantees I will only go there when I absolutely have to (not often). Anyways, once you have it downloaded you need to install is with maven: mvn install:install-file -Dfile=~/Downloads/ojdbc6.jar -DgroupId=com.oracle -DartifactId=ojdbc6 -Dversion=11.2.0.3 -Dpackaging=jar -DgeneratePom=true Here comes the fun part. You need to create an osgi wrapper for the driver to install it in roo. Otherwise, roo cannot see the driver. Create a new folder and put the contents of the oracle roo addon pom gist I created. Now build it with maven. You may want to change some of the artifact ids and dependencies for your particular situation. mvn package No open a roo shell and execute the following command: osgi install --url file:///Users/me/my-osgi-project/target/the-jar-it-built.jar Now run (in roo): jpa setup --provider HIBERNATE --database ORACLE dependency remove --groupId com.oracle --artifactId ojdbc14 --version 10.2.0.2 dependency add --groupId com.oracle --artifactId ojdbc6 --version 11.2.0.3 database properties set --key database.driverClassName --value oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver database properties set --key database.url --value jdbc:oracle:thin:@%YOUR_CONNECTION_INFO% database properties set --key database.username --value %YOUR_USERNAME% database properties set --key database.password --value %YOUR_PASSWORD% database reverse engineer --schema %YOUR_SCHEMA% --package ~.domain If you have any package loading exceptions when running the reverse engineer command you can uninstall the osgi bundle, set the package to optional in the osgi pom in the IncludedPackages tag (javax.some.package.*;resolution:=optional) rebuild, then reinstall in roo.
