  I get this back after sending an email. It says "Your message was successfully delivered", then why do I even get this? Or this phrase referes to something else? • How do I delete a foreign key in SQLAlchemy?

  I'm using SQLAlchemy Migrate to keep track of database changes and I'm running into an issue with removing a foreign key. I have two tables, t_new is a new table, and t_exists is an existing table. I need to add t_new, then add a foreign key to t_exists. Then I need to be able to reverse the operation (which is where I'm having trouble). t_new = sa.Table("new", meta.metadata, sa.Column("new_id", sa.types.Integer, primary_key=True) ) t_exists = sa.Table("exists", meta.metadata, sa.Column("exists_id", sa.types.Integer, primary_key=True), sa.Column( "new_id", sa.types.Integer, sa.ForeignKey("new.new_id", onupdate="CASCADE", ondelete="CASCADE"), nullable=False ) ) This works fine: t_new.create() t_exists.c.new_id.create() But this does not: t_exists.c.new_id.drop() t_new.drop() Trying to drop the foreign key column gives an error: 1025, "Error on rename of '.\my_db_name\#sql-1b0_2e6' to '.\my_db_name\exists' (errno: 150)" If I do this with raw SQL, i can remove the foreign key manually then remove the column, but I haven't been able to figure out how to remove the foreign key with SQLAlchemy? How can I remove the foreign key, and then the column?

• Apache2: Trying to map a subdomain to a subdirectory

  So basically I want to have: sub.domain.com/anything - domain.com/asub/anything I'm a bit new to this and a bit confused. The first thing I did was configure my DNS settings so sub.domain.com goes to domain.com using a CNAME (would an A record and the IP be better?) Next I went into my VirtualHost file and have: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} www.(.+) [NC] RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://domain.com/$1 [R] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^sub.domain.com RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://domain.com/asub/$1 [R] So the first rule is meant to handle www. and making sure that is caught correctly and it works. The second rule is what I've added for the subdomain mapping and it doesn't seem to be doing anything

  I'm using BitConverter.ToInt32 to pack 3 byte values into an int, like so: byte R = 0; byte G = 0; byte B = 0; int i = BitConverter.ToInt32(new byte[] { R, G, B, 0 }, 0); Is there a faster way to do this that doesn't involve the creation of a new int each time? Getting the bytes out of an int is easy: int i = 34234; byte B = (byte)(i >> 0); byte G = (byte)(i >> 8); byte R = (byte)(i >> 16); Is there a simple way to reverse this process and use bit-shifting to write the RGB bytes back over an existing int?

• How can I unbind JQZOOM in my JQuery Script?

  Hello, I have this script at the moment, which changes an image when a thumbnail has been changed. I then want JQZOOM to be added to that new image. However, if I put it inside the Onclick event, it gets slower and slower the more times you click on it... I guess because its running multiple instances. Is there anyway to unbind the JQZOOM from something then rebind it to something else?   Just now installed whm/cpanel, created some accounts, created mail account in one of them and entered squirrelmail to check the mail. • Amazon EC2 SQL Server Connection

  I have two instances running on Amazon AWS EC2. One is running MSSQL Server 2005, the other is running a web application. I CAN connect to the database in my app using a connection string that references the Public IP of my EC2 instance running SQL Server. I CANNOT connect from the web app server if I change the connection string to reference the database servers Private IP Address. But I can connect if I run that same code on the database server itself. I can remote desktop from the app server to the database server using the private IP. I have a feeling there is something in my SQL Sever configuration that is preventing this remote connection. I have remote connections enabled, I have it set to listen on all IP addresses. Any ideas? Other things I've done: - Added exceptions to Windows Firewall - Tried connecting to using EC2 DNS Names

• 256 colors, foreground and background

  This is a tale of two scripts and is related to a previous question. The two scripts are at http://gist.github.com/50692. The ansi.rb script displays all 256 colors on all 256 background colors. The ncurses.rb script displays all 256 foreground colors but the background displays the basic 16 and then seems to cycle through various attributes like blinking and reverse video. So what gives? Is this the bug in ncurses that it uses a signed integer for color pairs? (ie 'tput colors' says 256 but 'tput pairs' says 32767 instead 65536) It seems like if that were the case the first half of the colors pairs would display properly but the second half would repeat or get into the attributes as the int wraps.

• Google Charts: Bar chart labels are reversed

  I create dinamically a chart for a website. I have a key/value map, I sort the values descending, and then create the url: http://chart.googleapis.com/chart? chs=400x200&cht=bhs&chbh=a&chdlp=l&chg=25,0&chma=0,0,0,5&chtt=Chart+test& chxr=0,0,8,1&chds=0,8&chxt=t,y& chd=t:8,5,3& chxl=1:|Label_8|Label_5|Label_3 The values are set by chd=t:8,5,3, and the labels are set by chxl=1:|Label_8|Label_5|Label_3. However, in the chart image the labels are reversed. I searched the documentation, but I didn't get why it is like this. Is it because I didn't set a value correctly, or is this the desired functionality? I could reverse the label texts in chxl from code to be displayed how I want. Is this the right way?

  I generally use Google Apps to handle email domains. I'm unfortunately stuck in an infinite loop with Google [1] for one the domains I recently picked up. Right now I use Zerigo's awesome DNS services. How can I get [email protected] forwarded to my Gmail account? Better yet if this is a free/cheap solution and can work with multiple aliases going to different real email addresses ([email protected] - [email protected], [email protected] - [email protected]) [1] Long story. I alternate between "Sorry, you've reached a login page for a domain that isn't using Google Apps." and "This domain has already been registered with Google Apps." Seems like many others are having this issue and Google isn't doing anything about it.

• VirtualBox - Mac OSX host Win7 guest - no Internet access for guest VM

  I have a Mac running OSX 10.9.2, and I just downloaded and installed a Win7 IE9 VM in VirtualBox. My Mac uses Wi-Fi for internet access, and it's behind a proxy (it's a work machine). VirtualBox loads the VM fine, and at some point the VM can see the DNS servers of the host. But I've never been able to make the VM have internet access. I've tried all kinds of combinations of Network settings on the VM via the VirtualBox Settings, in conjunction with Internet Sharing in OSX's System Preferences, but no luck. Has anyone done a similar setup and made the VM successfully connect to the Internet? Thanks in advance for any inputs. [ Update: I was able to get internet access for the VM when the host was using my home network.   Hi, I need to hide a value in a mobile (Android OS) application. As far as I can see, encrypting the value is of no use as the key to the encryption mechanism must be available to the program and is thus available to an attacker reverse-engineering the code. So, it seems that the only "solution" is to hide the secret value in the application as well as possible, obviously not ideal. Any comments? Am I missing something?   I have a function myLength = foldl (\ x _ -> x + 1) 0 which fails with stack overflow with input around 10^6 elements (myLength [1..1000000] fails). I believe that is due to the thunk build up since when I replace foldl with foldl', it works. So far so good. But now I have another function to reverse a list : myReverse = foldl (\ acc x -> x : acc) [] which uses the lazy version foldl (instead of foldl') When I do myLength . myReverse $ [1.1000000]. This time it works fine. I fail to understand why foldl works for the later case and not for former?

The scenario is as follows: I want to be able to forward all outbound web traffic from a browswer to Tor so that it is properly anonymized. Normally, one could just set the http proxy in the browser and be done with it but this is with a browser without the ability to do so specifically, a mobile browser. So ideally, what could be done then is to intercept all web/dns traffic requests from the browser and send it to Tor. Assume for this, that Tor will be running on the device too.

• Freeware Local Proxy for Proxy Chaining with HTTPAUTH

  I am looking for a freeware local proxy to perform proxy-chaining with HTTPAUTH. To explain my situation: In my workplace I am forced to keep switching between several internet-connected apps, and thus everytime I have to type in the credentials (or, at least, click on 'OK' to send my previously-saved credential). To make matters more annoying, the proxy login times out every 30 minutes, requiring me to lather-rinse-repeat the whole annoyance. I'd like to just point them all to a locally installed proxy which will on its own perform the required HTTPAUTH against the corporate proxy. I've tried Cntlm, but it always fail to authenticate (and according to this thread, that is due to the proxy using HTTPAUTH which is not supported by Cntlm) Any suggestions? ETA: I found Polipo, but it's kinda wonky on Windows. Especially if I visit a new URL, and the DNS server is a bit slow, then Polipo will simply drop/refuse the connection. And I have to put my password in plaintext. If there's a better suggestion, I'm all ears.

• Multiple Subnets on home network... would this work?

  We are looking at renting out the basement suit in our home and want to offer internet as part of the package. I however do not want the downstairs tennent to have access to our network (home office = private data). We currently have a pfsense firewall as our gateway and a Windows Server 2003 box is doing our primary DHCP (192.168.0.0/24) and DNS. Here's what I'd like to do... I'd like to setup another subnet on the DHCP server (192.168.1.0/24), and hook in another wireless router (as access point only) and address it as 192.168.1.1... from there the router will hook into our primary switch and then out through the firewall. Will Server 2003 (If I add a 192.168.1.x/24 IP to the nic) serve DHCP to the devices that connect to the new router, and will it isolate that from our network? Thanks in advance... • Accessing through VPN, which internet connection would be used

  I've a data card which has a limit of 2 GB up/download traffic per month. I've an office internet line which has an unlimited up/download. I've successfully connected to VPN using my data card and by changing certain configurations like DNS etc., have also been able to use my office line for internet (verified by doing a IP check - returns the static IP of our office). Now to my question - is it just a NAT which is happening or am I actually using my office line for all communication. Which one would reflect the usage/trace. The data card usage log at this moment does not reflect any usage (which is confusing since the VPN is over the data card connection). Further more (theoretically), would the net be any faster if my office line is let us say 8Mbps and the data card is 512kbps by doing this as against directly connecting the internet using the data card.

  I am sure this is a very dumb question to be asking for such a platform as Mono, but I am really stuck with .NET on one of my only remaining projects on MS platforms and would like to move away from it. The only problem is that the web site is dependent on a COM library that is simply a socket wrapper enforcing a messaging protocol. I could reverse the code (I actually made a 10k line attempt) but there's nothing better than the original if it works. Is there any way to reference a tlb export on Mono? • Can I use ANTLR for both two-way parsing/generating?

  Hi all, I need to both parse incoming messages and generate outgoing messages in EDIFACT format (basically a structured delimited format). I would like to have a Java model that will be generated by parsing a message. Then I would like to use the same model to create an instance and generate a message. The first half is fine, I've used ANTLR before to go from raw - Java objects. But I've never done the reverse, or if I have it's been custom. Does ANTLR support generating using a grammar or is it really just a parse-only tool?
