  • Core Data Image Won't Load Into NSTableView Image Cell

    In my code I am storing an image into my Core Data model (works fine). If I set up my view to have an NSImageView and bind its Data to Controller Key: selection and modelKeyPath: myImagePath, it works. It will show each image for the selected row. I then create a new column in my NSTableView and drag an image cell onto the column. However, I cannot get my Core Data bindings to have the image show up in the cell. I have tried binding both value and data, but no luck. Since I am sure the image is stored properly, what am I doing wrong in my binding to prevent the image from showing up in the table cell? Thanks so much. (My background: new Cocoa developer who has recently gone through the entire Hillegass book.)

  • qt on Win CE 5.0 crash

    Good day all, It's the first time I am using Qt on Windows CE and I ran into an issue. Maybe someone can help me with it. I will describe my set up. I am using XP with Visual Studio 2005 an Qt Add-in version 1.1.2. I downloaded Qt source for Windows CE and followed the instructions on these (http://doc.trolltech.com/4.4/install-wince.html) instructions to build the library for CE. I then used the Visual Studio to create a minimal Qt Windows CE Application.   • Building a DVR system for use with custom windows application (video analytics)

    Is there a good PCIe DVR capture card that has at least 4 channels as well as the hardware encoding? It would have to have decent driver support in Windows xp or windows 7. I have looked at various video capture cards as well as an integrated video capture card/motherboard from Huperlabs. But so far I have not found one with a decent review and that has good driver support that I can verify. A really small card would be nice because I am trying to get a fairly small form factor. Huperlabs stuff is pretty awesome but they are slow to get back to me and they bundle their analytics software with the hardware (extra cost for nothing) The dvr is being used for security.

  • "php: command not found" after changing PHP system files in OS X

    I wanted to install Symfony on Mac OS X Lion. Apparently, as MAMP was already installed on my computer, there was a problem with the "timezone" field in the php.ini file. I can't remember exactly the error but basically, Symfony installation required a timezone like "Europe/Paris" but MAMP apparently changed that part. Well, it's very vague but I've seen on the web that other people had the same issue. So I tried one of the solution I found (without success) but: It didn't work. I can not use the php command anymore ("-bash: php: command not found"). I can not remember the exact commands I did to go back. Here are some potential relevant commands I found in my history and that correspond with the beginning of my problem, in this order: sudo mv /usr/bin/php /usr/bin/php-old sudo ln -s /Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/bin/php /usr/bin/php rm /usr/bin/php-old sudo cp php.ini.default /etc/php.ini rm php.ini but I don't know anymor in which repertory I was. sudo mv /usr/bin/php-old /usr/bin/php

    Hello, I have a system where registered users can vote up/vote down comment for a picture. Something very similar to SO's voting system. I store the votes in a table with values as such; vote_id | vote_comment_id | vote_user_id | vote_date Now I have few a question concerned the speed and efficiency for the following; PROB: Once a user opens the picture page with comments I need, if that user has already voted UP/DOWN a comment to show it like; "you voted up" or "you voted down" next to the comment (in SO it the vote image is highlighted) MY POSSIBLE SOL: Right now when I open a picture page for each comment I loop thru, I loop thru my table of votes as well and check if a user has voted and show the status (I compare the vote_user_id with the user's session). How efficient is this? Anyone have a better approach to tackle this kind of problem?

  • Remove Setup Project does not delete it from file system using Visual Studio

    Using Visual Studio 2008 - I add a Setup project (from Setup and Deployment Template) and its called by default Setup1. I then decide I don't want this so I right click on the project and select Remove. Later on I decide I want to add a Setup project again but it's default name is called Setup2 and when you look at the project folder you can see the old Setup1 files are still there! Why has Visual Studio not deleted these from the file system when I selected Remove - and is there a way to make it delete them from the file system as default behaviour?

I know that Process Explorer and others will show you what memory is being used by each process, but I need a full graphical view of all used and unused memory on my machine.     Upon starting Windows Server 2008 R2 I get this error message: Event ID 11 Disk The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk3\DR3. There are also also 3 more similar messages for Harddisk 2, 4, and 5, but not zero or 1. Checking the event viewer reveals it's been going on for 3 months. I ran chkdsk - no bad sectors. Any advice on the cause, better still, a solution?

However in W7 when I switch keyboard it stays in the window I switched it.. and other windows have English at the same time... I want to keep menus, banners, etc in one document so I don't have to repeat updates across many documents. My solution was to make an index.aspx file with the menus and headers, then have a simple iframe for content. This works quite well and updates easily. the format is: www.site.com/index.aspx?page=page1.htm www.site.com/index.aspx?page=page2.htm The problem -- Google is indexing my iframe'd pages and linking to them directly: www.site.com/page1.htm www.site.com/page2.htm How can I set up redirects to page1.htm forwards to index.aspx?page=page1.htm without creating a "hall of mirrors" effect inside the original iframe?

I followed the tips given on Loading Facebook fb:profile via ajax In my app, I am basically loading more comments posted by the user via Jquery and along with each comment showing the user's picture using the fb:profile-pic tag This is a sample of how I'm building the string via Jquery newcomment += "<fb:profile-pic uid='"+data.fb_userid+"' height='50' width='50' /"; newcomment += ""+data.user_name+": "; newcomment += ""+data.user_comment+": "; $("#morecomments").append(newcomment); So the profile-pic was not being displayed - After reading the above link, I added if ( FB.XFBML.Host.parseDomTree ) setTimeout( FB.XFBML.Host.parseDomTree, 0 ); The weird thing now is - its working in Chrome and Firefox but not in IE Cant figure out why. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

    Hello, I am looking to give the impression of zooming in from a large image to a detailed area of that image, over time, when the page loads - using javascript (jquery, preferably). I have been given the following flash site as a reference (action happens just after title fades in): http://www.delicatessennyc.com/ Not sure if this is even possible. I know I could switch out the large image for a smaller one - but my boss is hellbent of achieving this flash-type action using javascript. Please note, I've searched the plugins and I've not found anything like what I'm looking for. And I'm so new to this type of coding that cobbling it together from scratch seems daunting.
