  • twitter share url forgeting the tweet content after login

    I'm trying to add a "share via twitter" link to our website. I'm aware of the standard http://twitter.com/home?status=TWEET method, and it works good enough for my purposes when the user is logged in to twitter already. If, however, the user is not logged in, twitter displays the login form first (which is only reasonable). After the login, the home screen is displayed without the tweet content. Am I missing something obvious, or is this a know flaw in this method? If so, what is the easiest way (apart from using services like TweetMeme, which I noticed asks for login in advance) to make the share button work as expected?

    I've been trying to switch two views from two separate view controllers for a while and it never works, the simulator always crashes to the home screen.     I have built the MVC application with WCF service. The major problem I have experienced with refreshing page. I have created a login page with session (username and password). But when you refresh the home page by pressing F5, it would automatically log out. That is my problem. I need to stay the home page after refresh. I have been googling around to find a solution but it seems not helpful. Any idea? Your advise or code example much appreciated.

    I have a TabActivity and want to catch and handle presses of HOME and BACK. Where do I need to catch these events? In my subclass of TabActivity I implement the following: @Override public boolean onKeyDown(int keyCode, KeyEvent event) { switch (keyCode) { // Code handling } return super.onKeyDown(keyCode, event); } Didn't work. So I placed a breakpoint on the switch statement line. But this function never gets called, whether I press volume up/down, menu, home, or back. Where do I need to catch these KeyEvents?

    I've recently added to my .bashrc file an ssh-add command. I found that ssh-add $HOME/.ssh/id_rsa_github > /dev/null results on a message "identity added and something else" every time I open a shell. While ssh-add $HOME/.ssh/id_rsa_github > /dev/null 2>&1 did the trick and my shell is now 'clean'. Reading on internet, I found that other command do it, (for example time). Could you please explain why it's done?

    I have a control in ASP.NET MVC that spits out JavaScript in the page header (in the view page). I derive some values from the current view name (including its case). Let's say we are talking about the path: /Home/Index - my control spits out JavaScript to call a function with the view name - in its exact case - e.g. someFunction('Index'). Now when I try to navigate to my view using '/home/index', the view name is returned as 'index' which is causing issues in my JavaScript as I rely on the casing for it on the JS side. Is there any way to know the exact view name (as it was defined) from the path that got mapped into this view.

  • Searching for URL's Relative to Site Root in Javascript Source

    Hi, I am working on a web site with several other developers and we have had problems where people commit JavaScript code with AJAX calls that use URL's relative to the site root. An example would be /Home/Index which will not work if the site is hosted in a virtual directory. To get round the problem we use a $.url() method to convert it to a full path, e.g. $("#container").load($.url("/Home/Index")) I am trying to write a unit test that will search each JavaScript file and find places where the $.url method is not being used. The only problem is that I cannot seem to write a regex expression to do this. I have tried the following: (?!\$\.url\()"(/\w*)+" But this does not work. I cannot find a way to say that I don't want the $.url in front. Does anyone know if this is possible? Note that I need regular expressions that are compatible with .NET Thanks.

  • Jquery mobile function calls before Ajax Request end

    Here is my problem. When My Home page shows, I call the LoadUser functions, which on success, sets the globalUser variable with the returned json, and after it loads I call the alert function but it says globalUser is undefined. I have tried many other work arounds, but I always get the undefined mesage. So i have the 'id' of the child, I want to get all available parents (iterating up the chain until we reach 0 "Home"). There could be any number or child rows going to an unlimited depth. Currently I am using an SQL call for each parent, this is messy. Is there a way in SQL to do this all on one query?

In the 'home tab', there is 'login button' and my requirement is when I click the login button, it should display the view for 'login' in the same tab itself. That means it should start another activity (login.class) and display corresponding view (login.xml). And the tabs should be displayed at the top as before. But when I click the login button, it should start login activity, but the tabs are disappeared. How can I start an activity in the same tab itself? Please help me. Thank you...

  • hide XML element from appearing in browser

    HI, I have a website which I am setting up. However, I want the first page (Home) not to have any sub menu. When I change the value of true to false all the other pages where I want the drop down to appear also disappear. I want other pages to have sub menu but not the home page. I have tried to change the xml path etc, but nothing seems to work. Can somebody please advise on this. I am new to xml and finding this very challenging. I have uploaded the config.xml and the layout xml's.     We're using SQL Inserts to insert some data via a script into DB/2 tables, e.g. CREATE TABLE TICKETS (TICKETID VARCHAR(10) NOT NULL); On my home installation, this statement works fine (note that I'm using an integer which is autoatically cast into a VarChar): INSERT INTO TICKETS (TICKETID) VALUES (1); while at my customer's site I get a type error. My question(s): Is this behavior version dependent? (I use a DB2 Express V9.7, while the customer has an Enterprise V9.5) Is there a config option to change the behavior? (I would like my home install to behave as close as possible as the production environment is going to be.)

    I've added tab completion for my program to bash. It works quite well, but I don't know how to handle partial completion of words. Example: the user types ./program /home/user/De and presses TAB. This is then completed to ./program /home/user/Desktop/ , but there's now a trailing whitespace after 'Desktop/', which is not what I want. Basically, I need a way of preventing bash from adding whitespace after the completed word. I don't want to use bash's completion for paths.

    I would like to use .htaccess to password protect all inner pages of Magento, except the home page. e.g. http://www.example.com/abc (password protect) http://www.example.com (home page, no need to password protect) I tried to use the setifenv request_uri = "/" => allow, but didn't work. It still password protect all pages including the homepage. I also tried a few ways inside the Magento admin URL rewrite, but those won't work either. Any expert can help? thx E
