  • Is it possible to setup a .NET4 webforms route to an asmx endpoint?

    Is it possible in my RegisterRoutes method in global.asax, to map some routes to an asmx? Ideally I would like to do something like: routes.MapPageRoute("ServiceSearchCats", "services/search/cats", "~/Services/Search.asmx/Cats"); (and therefore my endpoint for the service becomes "http://mydomain.com/services/search/cats", instead of the ugly "http://mydomain.com/Services/Search.asmx/Cats" url)

  • Java/Eclipse Dependency mapping / graphing tool - Where is a JAR being used in my project?

    Hi All, I have a JAR on the build path of a medium sized Java application and I would like to know where it's used. At the most basic level if someone could tell me how to 'Find References' for a Jar that would be great. Whilst I'm looking at dependencies it would be great to find a tool that would map all of my package / external library usages and graph them. I used to have a free plug-in for eclipse that did just that but I haven't been able to rediscover it. Thanks, Gav

    I'd like to know if there is a way to figure out if a key does something in vim. I know that I can use :map to see user-defined mappings, but is there something for the built-in stuff? For example, I always had CTRL-W bound to close tab, because I thought that it was unused. After half a year, I found out that there are some sequences that use it, like CTRL-W CTRL-S to split the window, and it was a nightmare to retrain myself.

At the moment, when the onLocationChanged() method is called, the application stores the current GPS longitude and latitude in a database and calls the animateTo() method to the current position. Using SDK 1.5, how would I go about connecting these points with a coloured line drawn on the MapView using an Overlay?.

    I'm trying to create some pages in my Windows Phone application without the use of any XAML. Everything is working, however, I'm failing to use NavigationService/ Journal with this approach and all my attempts to utilize it are answered by the usual "No XAML was found at the location {0}'" response. Yes, I can add an almost empty XAML file to get everything working, but is this kind of boiler plate code really necessary? Is it maybe possible to use the UriMapping to map certain Uris to specific classes instead of *.xaml files?

  • How to query across many-to-many association in NHibernate?

    I have two entities, Post and Tag. The Post entity has a collection of Tags which represents a many-to-many join between the two (that is, each post can have any number of tags and each tag can be associated with any number of posts). I am trying to retrieve all Posts which have a given tag. However, I seem to be unable to get this query right. I essentially want something which means the same as the following pseudo-HQL: from Posts p where p.Tags contains (from Tags t where t.Name = :tagName) order by p.DateTime The only thing I've found which even approaches this is a post by Ayende. However, his approach requires the entity on the other side (in my case, Tag) to have a collection showing the other end of the many-to-many. I don't have this and don't really wish to have it. I find it hard to believe this can't be done. What am I missing? This generates a cached version on first try, then returns the appropriate result there after. However my OS file system has a limit on the number of sub directories, meaning storing the original folder structure is not going to work. Suggestions?     Python is filled with little neat shortcuts. For example: self.data = map(lambda x: list(x), data) and (although not so pretty) tuple(t[0] for t in self.result if t[0] != 'mysql' and t[0] != 'information_schema') among countless others. In the irc channel, they said "too many to know them all". I think we should list some here, as i love using these shortcuts to shorten & refctor my code. I'm sure this would benefit many.

    Hello, I have a relatively large Conceptual Data Model in PowerDesigner. After generating a Physical Data Model and seeing the DBMS data types, I need to update all of data types(NUMBER/TEXT) for each data item. I'd like to either do a find/replace within the Conceptual Data Model or somehow map to different data types when creating the Physical Data Model. Ex. Change the auto conversion of Text - Clob, to Text - NVARCHAR(20). Thanks!

    Hi, i'm developing an app which download map tiles around different places in a city. To do this, i have one thread for each place in which i select the tiles and create a thread to download each. Well, the question is how to avoid creating a thread for a tile that already exists in the thread pool. Should not just check if the file exists, since it is possible that the thread for that tile already exists (other place already need that tile) but the file has not been created- Any idea? Thanks
