  • Get newly created window using Win32 API hooks

    This may be a long short or not even possible but no harm in asking. What I am trying to do is monitor an application for any new windows it creates in its MDI control. I have implemented hooking in C# and can capture the MDICREATE window message but because I need to get information about the window after is has been created the MDICREATE message isn't much help because at that stage the window hasn't been created in the other application yet. Without going into to much detail I just need to be able to see when a new window has been created. Is this possible? Thanks

  • Looping through Markers with Google Maps API v3 Problem

    I'm not sure why this isn't working. I don't have any errors, but what happens is, no matter what marker I click on, it clicks the 3rd one (which is the last one out of 4 markers. Array starts at 0, obviously) and shows the number "3", which is correct for THAT one, but I'm not clicking that one.   • Problem with sending out variable to serial port using api JAVA

    We are developing a java program for school. But we are experiencing problems with sending out a variable created by 3 sliders. The idea is that we have 3 sliders. One slider for every color. Red green and blue. The variable has to have a value between 0 and 255. Everytime the value of the slider changes is has to send a variable for the channel, that value is 1, 2 ,3. And after that it has to send the value of the slider through the serial port. Could you please help us out by creating an example program? Below is our code so far. Thanks in advance.   • Work flow for authentication and API use with Twitter on OAuth

    I'm a bit confused about all this OAuth bruhaha in the sense that all the examples I can find are for web applications and none of them for desktop applications. I understand the Web application work flow, but that includes some redirections between the web app and twitter. How does one do this in an desktop application? How does the redirects work? Should I have to include a Web Browser object? Is there a way to go around this? Could anyone point me to resources instead of a full blown solution please? Thanks

    I have heard of WINE but I don't like it because it's slow on the computers I have tested and almost always crashes. It also has some unpleasant looking gui. I am wondering if there is a "win32" library in c/c++ for linux that produces native linux code so that if I have my source code for windows, I can just recompile and produce a working linux application. The user is able to enter username and password on Twitter's page BUT then, instead of calling back my application, Twitter displays a page You've successfully granted access to MyAppName! Simply return to MyAppName and enter the following PIN to complete the process. 123456 Why is this happening? I have set the callback url in my app's settings. Thanks

  • Suddenly Facebook API stopped working on Windows Phone

    My code hasn't changed, it was working yesterday or so. I can oauth, get the token but then doing the following: WebClient wc = new WebClient(); wc.DownloadStringCompleted += result; wc.DownloadStringAsync(new Uri("https://graph.facebook.com/me&access_token=xxxTOKENxxx", UriKind.Absolute)); Returns a NotFound WebClient exception: "The remote server returned an error: NotFound." Strange thing is that when pasting that same url on Chrome or IE it does work(PC). Tried on Emulator and on 2 different real WP devices, even pasting the same url on the WP browser. Feels like facebook is rejecting Windows Phone for some reason? Anyone has an idea of what might be happening?

    I am using libcurl for a RESTful library. I am having two problems with a PUT message, I am just trying to send a small content like "hello" via put. My READFUNCTION for PUT's blocks for a very large amount of time (minutes) when I follow the manual at curl.haxx.se and return a 0 indicating I have finished the content. (on os X) When I return something 0 this succeeds much faster (< 1 sec) When I run this on my linux machine (ubuntu 10.4) this blocking event appears to NEVER return when I return 0, if I change the behavior to return the size written libcurl appends all the data in the http body sending way more data and it fails with a "too much data" message from the server. my readfunction is below, any help would be greatly appreciated.     Hi, I have a problem, I am using the content organizer feature to redirect document on upload and the auto create folder feature of it, the property used is a date set by the user when the document gets uploaded. My problem is that when the folder gets created it writes the time set by the user minus two hours, I see that it uses GMT time while everything on the server, the site and the computers is set to UTC+2, so how come it still uses GMT time ? Can someone help me out please. Thank you.

  • Android: automatically choose debug/release Maps api key?

    Is it possible to automatically detect, which certificate was used for signing APK? I'd like to have both debug and release Maps certificates in application and pass valid one to MapView constructor. With such setup I will not make mistake while releasing application - I'm using debug certificate on emulator and my device, then sign with release one before sending app to Market. I was thinking about detecting my particular device or whether debugger is connected but it is not perfect. Maybe some file marking need for debug certificate? Is there any better way?
