  • WPF treeview with rounded corners

    I have a treeview in a UI full of rounded corners, so I'd like the treeview to match. Is it possible in xaml to change the border of a treeview to have rounded corners? I've thought about hiding the border and putting the treeview inside a rounded rectangle, but this loses real-estate and seems in-elegant. Any ideas?

    Hello all, I am looking for a way to permanently delete a MailMessage from Outlook 2000 with VBA code. I'd like to do this without having to do a second loop to empty the Deleted items. Essentially, I am looking for a code equivalent to the UI method of clicking a message and hitting SHIFT+DELETE. Is there such a thing? TIA!

  • A good way in .NET Winforms to have user entered time frame?

    Hi, Does anyone know of a good way to have a user enter an amount of time (hours and minutes) using winforms controls? At the moment I have two numeric up downs, one for time and one for minutes that I then parse to create a timespan. The only other idea I have is a text box that a user can enter a "00:00" time in, and validate the input. Both of these ways seem a bit bad (in UI terms) though. Any ideas? Thanks

"Allow more entries to be displayed in the view: When the user clicks more, additional entries should be displayed in addition to the ones which are already displayed. The code should cause the UI to scroll such that the first entry of the "more" set is on top". I am using com.ibm.rcp.browser.service.WebBrowser which is similar to SWT WebBrowser.

    I'm having difficultly adding querystring parameters to link_to UrlHelper. I have an Index view, for example, that has UI elements for sorting, filtering, and pagination (via will_paginate). The will_paginate plugin manages the intra-page persistence of querystring parameters correctly. Is there an automatic mechanism to add the querystring parameters to a give named route, or do I need to do so manually? A great deal of research on this seemingly simple construct has left me clueless.

    After running chkdsk C: /F /R and finding out that my hard disk has 24 KB in bad sectors (log is posted below), I decided to run Windows 7's System File Checker utility (sfc /scannow). SFC showed the ff. message after I ran it: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log." Since the CBS.log file is too large, I ran findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt" (as per Microsoft's KB 928228 article) to only get the log text pertaining to the corrupt files.     My .NET application (VB.NET 3.5 if you really must know) forms do not properly format when rendered at high DPI settings. All of the fixes I've found so far simply explain the cause of the problem as "certain UI elements do not scale properly". I was wondering if anyone had a more meaningful explanation? Thanks!
