  • drupal - override form action?

    - by n00b0101
    I originally started this question in another thread, but that thread was sorta, kinda answered, and now I primarily want to know how to specify another form action... I tried using the code below, but the form action, when output, remains unchanged, although looking at the print_r($form), it's correctly changed... Why isn't it picking up? function mytheme_user_profile_form($form) { global $user; $uid = $user->uid; //print '<pre>'; print_r($form); print '</pre>'; $category = $form['_category']['#value']; switch($category) { case 'account': $form['#action'] = '/user/'.$uid.'/edit?destination=user/'.$uid; break; case 'education': $form['#action'] = '/user/'.$uid.'/edit/education?destination=user/'.$uid; break; case 'experience': $form['#action'] = '/user/'.$uid.'/edit/experience?destination=user/'.$uid; break; case 'publications': $form['#action'] = '/user/'.$uid.'/edit/publications?destination=user/'.$uid; break; case 'conflicts': $form['#action'] = '/user/'.$uid.'/edit/conflicts?destination=user/'.$uid; break; } //print '<pre>'; print_r($form); print '</pre>'; //print $form['#action']; $output .= drupal_render($form); return $output;

  • Efficient Multiple Linear Regression in C# / .Net

    - by mrnye
    Does anyone know of an efficient way to do multiple linear regression in C#, where the number of simultaneous equations may be in the 1000's (with 3 or 4 different inputs). After reading this article on multiple linear regression I tried implementing it with a matrix equation: Matrix y = new Matrix( new double[,]{{745}, {895}, {442}, {440}, {1598}}); Matrix x = new Matrix( new double[,]{{1, 36, 66}, {1, 37, 68}, {1, 47, 64}, {1, 32, 53}, {1, 1, 101}}); Matrix b = (x.Transpose() * x).Inverse() * x.Transpose() * y; for (int i = 0; i < b.Rows; i++) { Trace.WriteLine("INFO: " + b[i, 0].ToDouble()); } However it does not scale well to the scale of 1000's of equations due to the matrix inversion operation. I can call the R language and use that, however I was hoping there would be a pure .Net solution which will scale to these large sets. Any suggestions? EDIT #1: I have settled using R for the time being. By using statconn (downloaded here) I have found it to be both fast & relatively easy to use this method. I.e. here is a small code snippet, it really isn't much code at all to use the R statconn library (note: this is not all the code!). _StatConn.EvaluateNoReturn(string.Format("output <- lm({0})", equation)); object intercept = _StatConn.Evaluate("coefficients(output)['(Intercept)']"); parameters[0] = (double)intercept; for (int i = 0; i < xColCount; i++) { object parameter = _StatConn.Evaluate(string.Format("coefficients(output)['x{0}']", i)); parameters[i + 1] = (double)parameter; }

  • List all hotfixes applied to windows server

    - by Nick Kavadias
    There used to be a command line tool called QFECheck in Windows Server 2000 that would list them out. Is this the preferred method on windows server 2003/2008? I know they're listed in Add/Remove programs, but it's hard to capture them for an audit this way. Can i do this without having to install an add-on executable?

  • MSBuild 2010 - how to publish web app to a specific location (nant)?

    - by Mr. Flibble
    I'm trying to get MSBuild 2010 to publish a web app to a specific location. I can get it to publish the deployment package to a particular path, but the deployment package then adds it's own path that changes. For example: if I tell it to publish to C:\dev\build\Output\Debug then the actual web files end up at C:\dev\build\Output\Debug\Archive\Content\C_C\code\sawadee\frontend\IPP-FrontEnd\Source\ControllersViews\obj\Debug\Package\PackageTmp And the C_C part of the path changes (not sure how it chooses this part of the path). This means I can't just script a copy from the publish location. I'm using this nant/msbuild command at the moment: <target name="compile" description="Compiles"> <msbuild project="${name}.sln"> <property name="Platform" value="Any CPU"/> <property name="Configuration" value="Debug"/> <property name="DeployOnBuild" value="true"/> <property name="DeployTarget" value="Package"/> <property name="PackageLocation" value="C:\dev\build\Output\Debug\"/> <property name="AutoParameterizationWebConfigConnectionStrings" value="false"/> <property name="PackageAsSingleFile" value="false"/> </msbuild> Any ideas on how to get it to send the web files directly to a specific location?

  • HtmlAgilityPack giving problems with malformed html

    - by Kapil
    I want to extract meaningful text out of an html document and I was using html-agility-pack for the same. Here is my code: string convertedContent = HttpUtility.HtmlDecode(ConvertHtml(HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlEntity.DeEntitize(htmlAsString))); ConvertHtml: public string ConvertHtml(string html) { HtmlDocument doc = new HtmlDocument(); doc.LoadHtml(html); StringWriter sw = new StringWriter(); ConvertTo(doc.DocumentNode, sw); sw.Flush(); return sw.ToString(); } ConvertTo: public void ConvertTo(HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlNode node, TextWriter outText) { string html; switch (node.NodeType) { case HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlNodeType.Comment: // don't output comments break; case HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlNodeType.Document: foreach (HtmlNode subnode in node.ChildNodes) { ConvertTo(subnode, outText); } break; case HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlNodeType.Text: // script and style must not be output string parentName = node.ParentNode.Name; if ((parentName == "script") || (parentName == "style")) break; // get text html = ((HtmlTextNode)node).Text; // is it in fact a special closing node output as text? if (HtmlNode.IsOverlappedClosingElement(html)) break; // check the text is meaningful and not a bunch of whitespaces if (html.Trim().Length > 0) { outText.Write(HtmlEntity.DeEntitize(html) + " "); } break; case HtmlAgilityPack.HtmlNodeType.Element: switch (node.Name) { case "p": // treat paragraphs as crlf outText.Write("\r\n"); break; } if (node.HasChildNodes) { foreach (HtmlNode subnode in node.ChildNodes) { ConvertTo(subnode, outText); } } break; } } Now in some cases when the html pages are malformed (for example the following page - http://rareseeds.com/cart/products/Purple_of_Romagna_Artichoke-646-72.html has a malformed meta-tag like <meta content="text/html; charset=uft-8" http-equiv="Content-Type">) [Note "uft" instead of utf] my code is puking at the time I am trying to load the html document. Can someone suggest me how can I overcome these malformed html pages and still extract relevant text out of a html document? Thanks, Kapil

  • Linux - Only first virtual interface can ping external gateway

    - by husvar
    I created 3 virtual interfaces with different mac addresses all linked to the same physical interface. I see that they successfully arp for the gw and they can ping (the request is coming in the packet capture in wireshark). However the ping utility does not count the responses. Does anyone knows the issue? I am running Ubuntu 14.04 in a VmWare. root@ubuntu:~# ip link sh 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 link/ether 00:0c:29:bc:fc:8b brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff root@ubuntu:~# ip addr sh 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN group default link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever inet6 ::1/128 scope host valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever 2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP group default qlen 1000 link/ether 00:0c:29:bc:fc:8b brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet6 fe80::20c:29ff:febc:fc8b/64 scope link valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever root@ubuntu:~# ip route sh root@ubuntu:~# ip link add link eth0 eth0.1 addr 00:00:00:00:00:11 type macvlan root@ubuntu:~# ip link add link eth0 eth0.2 addr 00:00:00:00:00:22 type macvlan root@ubuntu:~# ip link add link eth0 eth0.3 addr 00:00:00:00:00:33 type macvlan root@ubuntu:~# ip -4 link sh 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 link/ether 00:0c:29:bc:fc:8b brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 18: eth0.1@eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default link/ether 00:00:00:00:00:11 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 19: eth0.2@eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default link/ether 00:00:00:00:00:22 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 20: eth0.3@eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default link/ether 00:00:00:00:00:33 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff root@ubuntu:~# ip -4 addr sh 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN group default inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever root@ubuntu:~# ip -4 route sh root@ubuntu:~# dhclient -v eth0.1 Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Client 4.2.4 Copyright 2004-2012 Internet Systems Consortium. • Hooking into comment_text() to add surrounding tag

    - by Stefan Glase
    Trying to hook into the function comment_text() supplied by Wordpress API to wrap the output of every comment into a <div>...</div> container I am running into the following problem: Without my added filter the output of comment_text() looks like this: <p>Hello User!</p> <p>Thank you for your comment.</p> <p>Stefan</p> Thats fine but as I said I would like to have it wrapped into a <div class="comment-text">...</div>. As far as I know the correct way doing this would be in adding a filter to functions.php of my theme and so I did: function stefan_wrap_comment_text($content) { return "<div class=\"comment-text\">". $content ."</div>"; } add_filter('comment_text', 'stefan_wrap_comment_text'); As I can see from the output the given filter works but it has a negative sideeffect to the first paragraph of the content as you can see in the following example. The first paragraph should be <p>Hello User!</p> but looks like this: Hello User!. <div class="comment-text"> Hello User! <p>Thank you for your comment.</p> <p>Stefan</p> </div> Any ideas or hints what I am doing wrong?

  • BCP task hangs while executing

    - by user350374
    Hey guys, We have a HPC node that runs some of our tasks in it. I have a task in my .net project that kicks the bcp utility on the HPC node and the output of the query that I have runs into 9 Mb. When the HPC node runs this task the output of the query is dumped into a file and then after it dumps around 5mb of data it suddenly stops dumping any more data and this happens all the time. (Please note this isnt any data issue as its not crashing on a particular row every time). this may or may not be of significance but I dump the data into a different server which has adequate permissions set. I have run the command with the same query directly on the hpc node and on other comps and it gives the right output. I'm running the bcp command as follows: var processInfo = new ProcessStartInfo("bcp.exe", argument) { RedirectStandardOutput = true, RedirectStandardError = true, CreateNoWindow = true, UseShellExecute = false }; var proc = new Process { StartInfo = processInfo, EnableRaisingEvents = true }; proc.Exited += new EventHandler(bcp_log); proc.Start(); proc.WaitForExit(); So my code actually waits for each bcp task to run before it goes ahead as I call it multiple times. FYI to remind you again it only fails when my o/p exceeds a certain no of bytes in this case approx 5mb. Any help is much appreciated.

  • PHP - Plus sign with GET query

    - by Nate Shoffner
    I have a PHP script that does basic encryption of a string through the method below: <?php $key = 'secretkey'; $string = $_GET['str']; if ($_GET['method'] == "decrypt") { $output = rtrim(mcrypt_decrypt(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, md5($key), base64_decode($string), MCRYPT_MODE_CBC, md5(md5($key))), "\0"); } if ($_GET['method'] == "encrypt") { $output= base64_encode(mcrypt_encrypt(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, md5($key), $string, MCRYPT_MODE_CBC, md5(md5($key)))); } echo $output; ?> An example of a URL to encrypt a string would look like this: Encrypt.php?method=encrypt&str=the quick fox Which would return this as the encrypted string: LCuT/ieVa6cl3/4VtzE+jd9QPT3kvHYYJFqG6tY3P0Q= Now to decrypt the string all you have to do is change the "method" query to "decrypt", like so: Encrypt.php?method=decrypt&str=LCuT/ieVa6cl3/4VtzE+jd9QPT3kvHYYJFqG6tY3P0Q= The only problem is that when that encrypted string is decrypted it returns this: ¬ƒ§rYV}̳5Äš·nßì(ñïX8Þ;b I have narrowed down the problem to the plus sign that is in the encrypted string. PHP's GET method seems to translate a plus sign into a blank space. I have searched this bug and found out that it has already been filed here. I have tried different methods listed on that page and others with no success. The closest I got is by using this: $fixedstring = str_replace(" ", "+", $string); and then using $fixedstring in the encryption methods, the problem is, upon decryption, all blank spaces are converted to plus signs. Any ideas?

  • T-SQL Right Joins to ALL Entries inc Selected Column

    - by Pace
    Hi Experts, I have the following Query which produces the output below; SELECT TBLUSERS.USERID, TBLUSERS.ADusername, TBLACCESSLEVELS.ACCESSLEVELID, TBLACCESSLEVELS.AccessLevelName FROM TBLACCESSLEVELS INNER JOIN TBLACCESSRIGHTS ON TBLACCESSLEVELS.ACCESSLEVELID = TBLACCESSRIGHTS.ACCESSLEVELID INNER JOIN TBLUSERS ON TBLACCESSRIGHTS.USERID = TBLUSERS.USERID The output is this; 29 administrator 1 AllUsers 29 administrator 2 JobQueue 29 administrator 3 Telephone Directory Admin 29 administrator 4 Jobqueueadmin 29 administrator 5 UserAdmin 29 administrator 6 Product System 27 alan 1 AllUsers 97 andy 1 AllUsers 26 barry 1 AllUsers 26 barry 2 JobQueue 26 barry 3 Telephone Directory Admin 26 barry 4 Jobqueueadmin 26 barry 5 UserAdmin 26 barry 6 Product System 26 barry 7 Newseditor 26 barry 8 GreetingBoard What I would like to do is modify the query so I get all Access Levels regardless of weather there is an entry for that user. What I would also like to do is some sort of exist case so that I get output like the following; 29 administrator 1 AllUsers True 29 administrator 2 JobQueue True 29 administrator 3 Telephone Directory Admin True 29 administrator 4 Jobqueueadmin True 29 administrator 5 UserAdmin True 29 administrator 6 Product System True 29 administrator 7 Newseditor False 29 administrator 8 GreetingBoard False 27 alan 1 AllUsers True 27 alan 2 JobQueue False 27 alan 3 Telephone Directory Admin False 27 alan 4 Jobqueueadmin False 27 alan 5 UserAdmin False 27 alan 6 Product System False 27 alan 7 Newseditor False 27 alan 8 GreetingBoard False 97 andy 1 AllUsers True 97 andy 2 JobQueue False 97 andy 3 Telephone Directory Admin False 97 andy 4 Jobqueueadmin False 97 andy 5 UserAdmin False 97 andy 6 Product System False 97 andy 7 Newseditor False 97 andy 8 GreetingBoard False 26 Barry 1 AllUsers True 26 Barry 2 JobQueue True 26 Barry 3 Telephone Directory Admin True 26 Barry 4 Jobqueueadmin True 26 Barry 5 UserAdmin True 26 Barry 6 Product System True 26 Barry 7 Newseditor True 26 Barry 8 GreetingBoard True ......................................... So the rules are ALWAYS show ALL Entries for ACCESSLEVELS and where EXISTS in ACCESSRIGHTS produce a true / false to show this. I hope this makes sense and hopefully you dont need the table definitions as everything I need to work with is in the original Query. I just need a way of manipulating it slightly and getting the join in the right place. Thank you. Pace

  • Perl : get substring which matches regex error

    - by Michael Mao
    I am very new to Perl, so please bear with my simple question: Here is the sample output: Most successful agents in the Emarket climate are (in order of success): 1. agent10896761 ($-8008) 2. flightsandroomsonly ($-10102) 3. agent10479475hv ($-10663) Most successful agents in the Emarket climate are (in order of success): 1. agent10896761 ($-7142) 2. agent10479475hv ($-8982) 3. flightsandroomsonly ($-9124) I am interested only in agent names as well as their corresponding balances, so I am hoping to get the following output: agent10896761 -8008 flightsandroomsonly -10102 agent10479475hv -10663 agent10896761 -7142 agent10479475hv -8982 flightsandroomsonly -9124 For later processes. This is the code I've got so far: #!/usr/bin/perl -w open(MYINPUTFILE, $ARGV[0]); while(<MYINPUTFILE>) { my($line) = $_; chomp($line); # regex match test if($line =~ m/agent10479475/) { if($line =~ m/($-[0-9]+)/) { print "$1\n"; } } if($line =~ m/flightsandroomsonly/) { print "$line\n"; } } The second regex match has nothing wrong, 'cause that is printing out the whole line. However, for the first regex match, I've got some other output such like: $ ./compareResults.pl 3.txt 2. flightsandroomsonly ($-10102) 0479475 0479475 3. flightsandroomsonly ($-9124) 1. flightsandroomsonly ($-8053) 0479475 1. flightsandroomsonly ($-6126) 0479475 If I "escape" the braces like this if($line =~ m/\($-[0-9]+\)/) { print "$1\n"; } Then there is never a match for the first regex... So I'm stuck with a problem of making that particular regex work. Any hints for this? Many thanks in advance.

  • Beginner question - Loop invariants (Specifically Ch.3 of "Accelerated C++")

    - by Owen
    Hi - as I said, a complete beginner question here. I'm currently working my way through "Accelerated C++" and just came across this in chapter 3: // invariant: // we have read count grades so far, and // sum is the sum of the first count grades while (cin >> x) { ++count; sum += x; } The authors follow this by explaining that the invariant needs special attention paid to it because when the input is read into the variable x, we will have read count+1 grades and thus the invariant will be untrue. Similarly, when we have incremented the counter, the variable sum will no longer be the sum of the last count grades (in case you hadn't guessed, it's the traditional program for calculating student marks). What I don't understand is why this matters. Surely for just about any other loop, a similar statement would be true? For example, here is the book's first while loop (the output is filled in later): // invariant: we have written r rows so far while (r != rows) { // write a row of output std::cout << std::endl; ++r; } Once we have written the appropriate row of output, surely the invariant is false until we have incremented r, just as in the other example? It's probably something really obvious, anyone could enlighten me as to what makes these two cases different, that'd be great - and thanks in advance for taking the time to answer such a complete novice question. • FindBugs not accepting bcel.jar in ANT script

    - by deltaball
    I installed findbugs into my ant lib directory and added the following code into my main ANT script: <target name="findbugs" depends="init"> <findbugs home="C:\\findbugs\\" output="html outputFile="C:\\findbugs\\out.html" jvmargs="-Xms512M"> <sourcePath path="${messageaggregator.src}" /> <class location="${messageaggregator.src}"/> </findbugs> </target> The following xml is called within the init target: <taskdef name="findbugs" classname="edu.umd.cs.findbugs.anttask.FindBugsTask"> On running the ANT script, all I get is the following output: findbugs: [findbugs] Executing findbugs from ant task [findbugs] Running FindBugs... • How to actually query Chinese address in Googlemap API geocoding??

    - by Robert
    I'm following the demo code from article of phpsqlgeocode.html In the db, I inserted some Chinese addresses, which is utf8 encode. I found after urlencode the Chinese address, the output of the address will be wrong.Like this one: http://maps.google.com.tw/maps/geo?output=csv&key=ABQIAAAAfG3KxFZXjEslq8VNxMBpKRR08snBovzCxLQZ9DWwpnzxH-ROPxSAS9Q36m-6OOy0qlwTL6Ht9qp87w&q=%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F132%3F Then output(can't query from php, it have to test as browser url link), 200,5,59.3266963,18.2733433 Whose address is actually located in Taichung Taiwan, but turn out to in Sweden Europe. But when I paste the Chinese address(such as ???????? ?131?56?58?60?) in the url, the result turn out to be fine!!! So my question is how to make sure it send out the original Chiness address?? how to prevent urlencode()??? I found take urlencode() away not change anything. (I've change the MAPS_HOST from maps.google.com to maps.google.com.tw.) (I'm sure my key is right, and other English address geocoding are fine.) Thanks!!

  • How to make Windows 7 machine allocate a lot of hard disk cache?

    - by Jian Lin
    I am recording some game play capture (recording playing of PS3 or Wii) using a PC with Windows 7 and Hauppauge 1212 HD Recorder, and I have 4GB of RAM... is there a way to increase the size of Windows 7's hard disk cache size so that writing to the hard drive can be super fast? Since there is at least 1.5GB of RAM not being used, something like allocating 1GB just as hard disk cache, is it possible?

  • How to add DOCTYPE and xml processing instructions when marshalling with JAXB?

    - by Juha Syrjälä
    I am marshalling (serializing) JAXB beans to output stream. How can I add DOCTYPE declaration and xml processing instructions to ouput? I am doing currently marshalling like this: JAXBContext jaxbContext = JAXBContext.newInstance("com.example.package"); Marshaller marshaller = jaxbContext.createMarshaller(); marshaller.setProperty(Marshaller.JAXB_FORMATTED_OUTPUT, Boolean.TRUE); SchemaFactory schemaFactory = SchemaFactory.newInstance("http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"); Schema schema = schemaFactory.newSchema(schemaSource); marshaller.setSchema(schema); marshaller.marshal(object, output); I'd like have output that looks something like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE Something SYSTEM "some.dtd"> <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="some.xsl"?> JAXB bean are generated code so I don't want to change them. There are some undocumented tricks to add the xml processing instructions and doctype. But what is the preferred or right way to do this?

  • Plot in GNU PLOT

    - by guddi
    I have to plot many lines in GNU PLOT.No problem with the X axis. The problem that I am facing is that most of the plotted lines are at yscale [0-0.05] ,few at range 60-70 and rest at 600-700. These numbers correspond to the y axis scale values. But after I plot I can see only 3 sets of lines all messed up. There is no clearity between the lines. Line at 0 and the line at 0.003 look like one single line. If I set yrange[0:0.05], the lines between this range are clearly vissible. But I want all the lines in the same graph. I have heard of breaking axis's and multi plotting..Can they be useful? how to implement them. Anyone pls help me. Below is the sript set terminal png size 1300,1200 enhanced font 'Verdana,20 set output ' output .png’ set key font 'Verdana,16' set key bottom outside set yrange[500:1000] set xtics("25k" 25000,"50k" 50000,"75k" 75000,"100k" 100000) set grid set title 'Performance Metrics' set ylabel 'Metrices' set xlabel 'FES' plot ' input ' using 1:2 title ' A' with linespoints linewidth 4, ' input ' using 1:3 title B'with linespoints linewidth 4, 'input ' using 1:4 title ' c' with linespoints linewidth 4, 'input ' using 1:5 title 'D' with linespoints linewidth 4, ' input ' using 1:6 title 'E' with linespoints linewidth 4, ' input ' using 1:7 title 'F' with linespoints linewidth 4, ' input ' using 1:8 title 'G' with linespoints linewidth 4, ' input ' using 1:9 title ' H ' with linespoints linewidth 4, ' input ' using 1:10 title ' I' Metric ' with linespoints linewidth 4 set output set terminal windows input.dat is something like this: 25 0.002 0.05 899 455 444 0.08 0.00004 900 700 0.003 This way i have other rows. • Shell script to decrypt and move files from one directory to another?

    - by KittyYoung
    So, I have a directory, and in it are several files. I'm trying to decrypt those files and then move them to another directory. I can't seem to figure out how to set the output filename and move it. So, the directory structure looks like this: /Applications/MAMP/bin/decryptandmove.sh /Applications/MAMP/bin/passtext.txt /Applications/MAMP/bin/encrypted/test1.txt.pgp /Applications/MAMP/bin/encrypted/test2.txt.pgp /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/www/decrypted/ For all of the files found in the encrypted directory, I'm trying to decrypt it and then move them into www/decrypted/. I don't know what the filenames in the encrypted directory will be ahead of time (this script will eventually run via cron), so I wanted to just output the decrypted file with the same filename, but without the pgp. So, the result would be: /Applications/MAMP/bin/decryptandmove.sh /Applications/MAMP/bin/passtext.txt /Applications/MAMP/bin/encrypted/ /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/decrypted/test1.txt.pgp /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/decrypted/test2.txt.pgp So, this is all I have so far, and it doesn't work... FILE and FILENAME are both wrong... I haven't even gotten to the moving part of it yet.... Help? I've written exactly one shell script ever, and it was so simple, a monkey could have done it... Feeling out of depth here... pass_phrase=`cat passtext.txt|awk '{print $1}'` for FILE in '/Applications/MAMP/bin/encrypted/'; do FILENAME=$(basename $FILE .pgp) gpg --passphrase $pass_phrase --output $FILENAME --decrypt $FILE done

  • Capturing multicast data with Wireshark with IGMP Snooping Enabled at the switch

    - by Chuu
    I am trying to capture multicast traffic via Wireshark (actually TShark), however the switch has IGMP snooping enabled and will only send Multicast traffic on the ports that have an active IGMP subscription. I am currently getting around this by having a separate application hold the groups open I wish to record, but I am trying to set up a system to start/stop recording data dynamically and this extra complexity is painful. Is there a way to force Wireshark to send out IGMP Subscriptions for multicast groups it is recording?

  • A Linker Resolution Problem in a C++ Program

    - by Vlad
    We have two source files, a.cpp and b.cpp and a header file named constructions.h. We define a simple C++ class with the same name (class M, for instance) in each source file, respectively. The file a.cpp looks like this: #include "iostream" #include "constructions.h" class M { int i; public: M(): i( -1 ) { cout << "M() from a.cpp" << endl; } M( int a ) : i( a ) { cout << "M(int) from a.cpp, i: " << i << endl; } M( const M& b ) { i = b.i; cout << "M(M&) from a.cpp, i: " << i << endl; } M& operator = ( M& b ) { i = b.i; cout << "M::operator =(), i: " << i << endl; return *this; } virtual ~M(){ cout << "M::~M() from a.cpp" << endl; } operator int() { cout << "M::operator int() from a.cpp" << endl; return i; } }; void test1() { cout << endl << "Example 1" << endl; M b1; cout << "b1: " << b1 << endl; cout << endl << "Example 2" << endl; M b2 = 5; cout << "b2: " << b2 << endl; cout << endl << "Example 3" << endl; M b3(6); cout << "b3: " << b3 << endl; cout << endl << "Example 4" << endl; M b4 = b1; cout << "b4: " << b4 << endl; cout << endl << "Example 5" << endl; M b5; b5 = b2; cout << "b5: " << b5 << endl; } int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { test1(); test2(); cin.get(); return 0; } The file b.cpp looks like this: #include "iostream" #include "constructions.h" class M { public: M() { cout << "M() from b.cpp" << endl; } ~M() { cout << "M::~M() from b.cpp" << endl; } }; void test2() { M m; } Finally, the file constructions.h contains only the declaration of the function "test2()" (which is defined in "b.cpp"), so that it can be used in "a.cpp": using namespace std; void test2(); We compiled and linked these three files using either VS2005 or the GNU 4.1.0 compiler and the 2.16.91 ld linker under Suse. The results are surprising and different between the two build environments. But in both cases it looks like the linker gets confused about which definition of the class M it should use. If we comment out the definition of test2() from b.cpp and its invocation from a.cpp, then all the C++ objects created in test1() are of the type M defined in a.cpp and the program executes normally under Windows and Suse. Here is the run output under Windows: Example 1 M() from a.cpp M::operator int() from a.cpp b1: -1 Example 2 M(int) from a.cpp, i: 5 M::operator int() from a.cpp b2: 5 Example 3 M(int) from a.cpp, i: 6 M::operator int() from a.cpp b3: 6 Example 4 M(M&) from a.cpp, i: -1 M::operator int() from a.cpp b4: -1 Example 5 M() from a.cpp M::operator =(), i: 5 M::operator int() from a.cpp b5: 5 M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp If we enable the definition of test2() in "b.cpp" but comment out its invocation from main(), then the results are different. Under Suse, the C++ objects created in test1() are still of the type M defined in a.cpp and the program still seems to execute normally. The VS2005 versions behave differently in Debug or Release mode: in Debug mode, the program still seems to execute normally, but in Release mode, b1 and b5 are of the type M defined in b.cpp (as the constructor invocation proves), although the other member functions called (including the destructor), belong to M defined in a.cpp. Here is the run output for the executable built in Release mode: Example 1 M() from b.cpp M::operator int() from a.cpp b1: 4206872 Example 2 M(int) from a.cpp, i: 5 M::operator int() from a.cpp b2: 5 Example 3 M(int) from a.cpp, i: 6 M::operator int() from a.cpp b3: 6 Example 4 M(M&) from a.cpp, i: 4206872 M::operator int() from a.cpp b4: 4206872 Example 5 M() from b.cpp M::operator =(), i: 5 M::operator int() from a.cpp b5: 5 M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp Finally, if we allow the call to test2() from main, the program misbehaves in all circumstances (that is under Suse and under Windows in both Debug and Release modes). The Windows-Debug version finds a memory corruption around the variable m, defined in test2(). Here is the Windows output in Release mode (test2() seems to have created an instance of M defined in b.cpp): Example 1 M() from b.cpp M::operator int() from a.cpp b1: 4206872 Example 2 M(int) from a.cpp, i: 5 M::operator int() from a.cpp b2: 5 Example 3 M(int) from a.cpp, i: 6 M::operator int() from a.cpp b3: 6 Example 4 M(M&) from a.cpp, i: 4206872 M::operator int() from a.cpp b4: 4206872 Example 5 M() from b.cpp M::operator =(), i: 5 M::operator int() from a.cpp b5: 5 M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M() from b.cpp M::~M() from b.cpp And here is the Suse output. The objects created in test1() are of the type M defined in a.cpp but the object created in test2() is also of the type M defined in a.cpp, unlike the object created under Windows which is of the type M defined in b.cpp. The program crashed in the end: Example 1 M() from a.cpp M::operator int() from a.cpp b1: -1 Example 2 M(int) from a.cpp, i: 5 M::operator int() from a.cpp b2: 5 Example 3 M(int) from a.cpp, i: 6 M::operator int() from a.cpp b3: 6 Example 4 M(M&) from a.cpp, i: -1 M::operator int() from a.cpp b4: -1 Example 5 M() from a.cpp M::operator =(), i: 5 M::operator int() from a.cpp b5: 5 M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp M() from a.cpp M::~M() from a.cpp Segmentation fault (core dumped) I couldn't make the angle brackets appear using Markdown, so I used quotes around the header file name iostream. Otherwise, the code could be copied verbatim and tried. It is purely scholastic. The statement cin.get() at the end of main() was included just to facilitate running the program directly from VS2005 (cause it to display the output window until we could analyze the output). We are looking for a software engineer in Sunnyvale, CA and may offer that position to the programmer capable of providing an intelligent and comprehensive explanation of these anomalies. I can be contacted at [email protected].
