• Getting a RichTextCtrl's default font size in wxPython

  I have a RichTextCtrl, which I've modified to accept HTML input. The HTML parsing code needs to be able to increase and decrease the font size as it gets tags like <font size="-1">, but I can't work out how to get the control's default font size to adjust. I tried the following (where self is my RichTextCtrl): fred = wx.richtext.RichTextAttr() self.GetStyle(0,fred) print fred.GetFontSize() However, the final instruction fails, because GetStyle turns fred into a TextAttrEx and so I get AttributeError: 'TextAttrEx' object has no attribute 'GetFontSize'. Am I missing a vastly easier way of getting the default font size?

• Error when specifying tag attributes in NHaml

  I am just getting started with NHaml and ran into a snag. This is my application.haml file: %html %head %title = Get Some Data %link{ href="/media/css/styles.css", rel="Stylesheet", type="text/css" } %body %div.page %h1 = Get Some Data _ When I try to view in a browser it throw the following error: NHaml.Exceptions.SyntaxException: The attribute ',' is occurs twice. If I remove the line beginning with %link it works fine. What am I doing wrong? • RegEx to extract all HTML tag attributes including inline JavaScript

  I found this useful regex code here while looking to parse HTML tag attributes: (\S+)=["']?((?:.(?!["']?\s+(?:\S+)=|[>"']))+.)["']? It works great, but it's missing one key element that I need. Some attributes are event triggers that have inline Javascript code in them like this: onclick="doSomething(this, 'foo', 'bar');return false;" Or: onclick='doSomething(this, "foo", "bar");return false;' I can't figure out how to get the original expression to not count the quotes from the JS (single or double) while it's nested inside the set of quotes that contain the attribute's value.

  When the mouse hovers over each column I'd like the tooltip to indicate whether that column is sortable. I am able to change the title attribute with something like this: $("#List .ui-th-column").each(function(i) { var isSortable = i % 2; $(this).attr('title', isSortable ? "Not Sortable" : "Click header to sort."); }); I'd like to replace the demo expression 'i % 2' with a check of the colMode's sortable property, but I can't figure out how to get the value of the colModel's sortable property. colModel: [ { name: 'Name', index: 'Name', width: 100, sortable: true }, { name: 'Note', index: 'Note', width: 200, sortable: false } ] I've tried .getGridParam and .getColProp but I don't think the syntax I'm using is correct.

• Ivy deletion of unwanted (older) artifacts from Ivy cache

  I have a local Artifactory repository in which I have two jars for commons-logging: one for version 1.0.4 and one for version 1.1.1. I'm experimenting with using Ivy to download the older one with an ant task (with the proper dependency tag in ivy.xml), and then I change the "rev" attribute of this dependency tag to 1.1.1. When using ivy:resolve in ant, this newer jar gets successfully downloaded to my cache, but the older one is not deleted automatically, and I'd like to make this happen. I can't figure out how to do so after looking at the Ivy documentation; does anyone know how to get Ivy to delete old versions of artifacts when newer ones are downloaded, either with the resolve task or something else?

  Is there an method to get the contents of a folder in a particular order? I'd like an array of file attribute dictionaries (or just file names) ordered by date modified. Right now, I'm doing it this way: get an array with the file names get the attributes of each file store the file's path and modified date in a dictionary with the date as a key Next I have to output the dictionary in date order, but I wondered if there's an easier way?   I auto generated an xsd file from the below xml and used xsd2code to get a c# class. The problem is the entire xml doesn't deserialize.   I want to use a graph database using php. Can you point out some resources on where to get started? Is there any example code / tutorial out there? Or are there any other methods of storing data that relate to each other in totally random/abstract situations? Very abstract example of the relations needed: John relates to Mary, both relate to School, John is Tall, Mary is Short, John has Blue Eyes, Mary has Green Eyes, query I want is which people are related to 'Short people that have Green Eyes and go to School' - answer John It is possible in MySQL but it would require a fixed set of attributes/columns for each item and a complex non-flexible query, instead I need every attribute to be an item by itself and instead of 'belonging' to something, to be 'related' to something.

My form fields are named with a prefix but I am using - as my separator and not the default dot. <input type="text" id="Record-Title" name="Record-Title" /> When I try to update the model it does not get updated. If i change the name attribute to Record.Title it works perfectly but that is not what I want to do. bool success = TryUpdateModel(record, "Record"); Is it possible to use a custom separator?

I have an entity which has some information about places, and I want to show a collection of those places in a single map on a JSF page. I have a Collection of coordinates to be assigned as points on a polyline in Google maps, and I've got this collection as a return of a java function of the jsf page, but I dont know how to get this collection from jsf and then how to make the map work I'll be very greatful if someone can give me some jsf code as an example. I have this problem using JBOSS, EJB3 and MSSQL Express . i'm trying to persist an entity with an Blob attribute which was converted into a byte[], apparently it create the entity perfectly, no error was logged at jboss's console. but when i check into database the column is null. i already checked the Object to byte[] method and it is fine. i tried assigning Image and varbinary(Max) data type to this column. so i really don't know what it happening, why the column is not inserted into database. thanks a lot.

  Recently I've gone through an existing code base and refactored a lot of instance attributes to be lazy, ie. not be initialised in the constructor but only upon first read. These attributes do not change over the lifetime of the instance, but they're a real bottleneck to calculate that first time and only really accessed for special cases. I find myself typing the following snippet of code over and over again for various attributes across various classes: class testA(object): def __init__(self): self._a = None self._b = None @property def a(self): if self._a is None: # Calculate the attribute now self._a = 7 return self._a @property def b(self): #etc Is there an existing decorator to do this already in Python that I'm simply unaware of? Or, is there a reasonably simple way to define a decorator that does this? I'm working under Python 2.5, but 2.6 answers might still be interesting if they are significantly different.

  Hi, I have a php class that generates a map image depending on my db data. It is periodically updated thru a serInterval loop. I am trying to update it with no flickering but I just can't. I've tried different methods (preloader, imageswitcher) with no success. //first load function map() { $("#map").html("<img src=map.php?randval="+Math.random()+">"); } //update it from setInterval calls function updatemap() { $("#map").fadeOut(function() { $(this).load(function() { $(this).fadeIn(); }); $(this).attr("src", "map.php?randval="+Math.random()); }) } Is there any way to update the image with no flickering at all? I would prefer an inmediate swap insteado of a fade. The problem I'm having is that after calling updatemap() the image just dissapears. ¿Maybe it is a problem with the attribute src I am parsing?   I've noticed that my GLSL shaders are not compilable when the GLSL version is lower than 130. What are the most critical elements for having a backward compatible shader source? I don't want to have a full backward compatibility, but I'd like to understand the main guidelines for having simple (forward compatible) shaders running on GPU with GLSL lower than 130. Of course the problem could be solved with the preprocessor #if __VERSION__ < 130 #define VERTEX_IN attribute #else #define VERTER_IN in #endif But there probably many issues that I ignore. • Is there a way to construct HTML/CSS in an HTML email such that if image X does not load, text Y will appear?

  I'm looking for something a little more sophisticated than the alt="Newsletter Heading text" attribute of <img> tag. So if the Masthead.png image doesn't load for whatever reason, I want the display text, say Font: 60px Helvetica Neue Black, Helvetica, ..., Sans Serif text-align: center to appear in the middle of the table cell that is my masthead instead of just the alt text in some small default font in top right corner. One idea I had was to use to put the image on-top of the text display but I don't know if z-depth is something I can use in email HTML(?4)?
