MYSQL - datetime to seconds

Hello,
I wasn't able to find out (googling, reading mysql reference manual) how to get value of DATETIME in seconds in MySQL.
I dont mean to extract seconds from datetime, but to convert it into seconds.

What are the most interesting equivalences arising from the Curry-Howard Isomorphism?

I came upon the Curry-Howard Isomorphism relatively late in my programming life, and perhaps this contributes to my being utterly fascinated by it. It implies that for every programming concept there exists a precise analogue in formal logic, and vice versa. Here's an "obvious" list of such analogies, off the top of my head: program/definition | proof type/declaration | proposition inhabited type | theorem function | implication function argument | hypothesis/antecedent function result | conclusion/consequent function application | modus ponens recursion | induction identity function | tautology non-terminating function | absurdity tuple | conjunction (and) disjoint union | exclusive disjunction (xor) parametric polymorphism | universal quantification So, to my question: what are some of the more interesting/obscure implications of this isomorphism? I'm no logician so I'm sure I've only scratched the surface with this list. using moogaloop to embed a custom video player from Vimeo

Anyone have any luck using Vimeo's moogaloop player? I'm wanting to use Vimeo's supposed API functions to create custom buttons to control the Vimeo player on my site. Here's the reference page for moogaloop: http://vimeo.com/api/docs/moogaloop I've been able to get the player to embed using SWFObject, but I can't seem to get the API functions to work (e.g. api_play()). There is a table A containing common unversioned data for entities. There are also tables B,C,D with versioned data of particular entity type. All of these tables are referencing table A. The task is to add a mapping of a property of entity's type, for example, stored in table B, which would reference table A, and specify a rule how entity should be fetch from table B based on identifier from table A. Creating an empty Drawable in Android

Creating a Drawable that is completely empty seems like a common need, as a place holder, initial state, etc., but there doesn't seem to be a good way to do this... at least in XML. Several places refer to the system resource @android:drawable/empty but as far as I can tell (i.e., it's not in the reference docs, and aapt chokes saying that it can't find the resource) this doesn't exist. Is there a general way of referencing an empty Drawable, or do you end up creating a fake empty PNG for each project?Read the article

Is there an equivalent to Lisp's "runtime" primitive in Scheme?

According to SICP section 1.2.6, exercise 1.22: Most Lisp implementations include a primitive called runtime that returns an integer that specifies the amount of time the system has been running (measured, for example, in microseconds). I'm using DrScheme, where runtime doesn't seem to be available, so I'm looking for a good substitute. I found in the PLT-Scheme Reference that there is a current-milliseconds primitive. Hello, Im doing something like that: var results = from d in myDocument.Elements().Descendants("myName") select d; foreach (var result in results){ if (sth...){ result.replace(myXElement); } } The problem is that when I replace an element I cant iterate to the next element cause there is null reference. (var result in results). Is there any other way to replace that element with another one and still be able to iterate through that document ? thanks for helpRead the article
