    I'm trying to prove that changing document.domain can be used only for cross scripting on the same upper level domain. For example if i will try to change document.domain to "google.com" on page which is located on www.test.com I will get a security exception in FF. Does anybody know where to locate an official proof of that?

    I am having trouble figuring out the if statement code for changing the color of a UI label based on the current color of the label. For instance, if the label color is currently red and the correct button is pressed, I want the label color to change to black. If the label color is black I want the label color to change to blue.     I have a figure that displays 20,000 points on the x-axis. So it labels the x-axis from 0 ... 20,000. However, now I would like to scale it from 0 to 50. But when I try to do this in the plot window it just shows me the first 50 points, instead of changing the scale. Is there any straightforward way to do that in MATLAB?

  • Changing new Tomcat settings from the defaults in STS Eclipse

    I find myself continually having to delete my Tomcat 7 server in STS Eclipse and re-installing. Each time I have to then: a) increase start up time from 45 sec and b) increase Tomcat memory by adding something like this on the "VM Arguments" under the "Arguments" tab: "-XX:MaxPermSize=512m -XX:PermSize=512m -Xms256m -Xmx1024m -XX:-UseGCOverheadLimit" How do you change defaults for a) and b)? Google has plenty of info on changing these one time, but I want to change the defaults for a "new", and on this the search is coming up a blank. Thanks

    Hi all, I'm new to Objective C and Cocoa - and I'm having a really hard time changing the title on one of my windows. Usually I would press the outside of the window, and then in Window Attributes Inspector there's the title area - however for this particular project it has a name in that box and when I run the application, the title bar still says untitled. Am I missing something? I haven't binded the title to a data source or anything.

This would be great, since we have a database with old data and I'm trying to test some queries that use getdate().     I have two wxListCtrl and want to process the Ctrl+Enter keyboard event without letting wx change the focus to the other ListCtrl. I have event handlers for wx.EVT_KEY_DOWN, wx.EVT_KEY_UP, wx.EVT_CHAR and KillFocus, but KillFocus is always called first, then the focus changes and the the keyboard handlers are called for the wrong ListCtrl. Is there a way to prevent wx from changing the focus, when Ctrl+Enter is pressed ?

    I recently just changed my domain destination from the root (./) to (./Permias). Before I just did a website copy from visual studio to ./. So after changing my domain destination to ./Permias, I moved everything inside the Permias folder. But now when I tried to access the site it is as it's not there. What am I doing wrong? It just says the resouce cannot be found.

    I am trying to change my comboboxes to use autocomplete so i leverage the code listed here (which worked perfectly for my dropdowns) The issue is that i also on the same page have a listbox with the following code: <%= Html.ListBox("Cars", Model.BodyParts.Select( x => new SelectListItem { Text = x.Name, Value = x.Id, Selected = Model.CarsSelected.Any(y => y.Id == x.Id) } ))%> and it appears that the jquery ui code is changing this to a autocomplete dropdown as well (as opposed to keeping it as a multi select list box) any idea how to prevent this from happening?

    I'm using ab to do some load testing, and it's important that the supplied querystring (or POST) parameters change between requests. I.e. I need to make requests to URLs like: http://127.0.0.1:9080/meth?param=0 http://127.0.0.1:9080/meth?param=1 http://127.0.0.1:9080/meth?param=2 ... to properly exercise the application. ab seems to only read the supplied POST data file once, at startup, so changing its content during the test run is not an option. Any suggestions?

  • Performance of DrawingVisual vs Canvas.OnRender for lots of constantly changing shapes

    I'm working on a game-like app which has up to a thousand shapes (ellipses and lines) that constantly change at 60fps. Having read an excellent article on rendering many moving shapes, I implemented this using a custom Canvas descendant that overrides OnRender to do the drawing via a DrawingContext. The performance is quite reasonable, although the CPU usage stays high. However, the article suggests that the most efficient approach for constantly moving shapes is to use lots of DrawingVisual instances instead of OnRender. Unfortunately though it doesn't explain why that should be faster for this scenario. Changing the implementation in this way is not a small effort, so I'd like to understand the reasons and whether they are applicable to me before deciding to make the switch. Why could the DrawingVisual approach result in lower CPU usage than the OnRender approach in this scenario?

I need table to start of an IEnumerable type so I can't declare is an object.     Hi I have situation where I need to change the order of the columns/adding new columns for existing Table in SQLServer2008, It is not allowing me to do without drop and recreate. But That is in production system and having data in that table. I can take backup of the data, and Drop the existing table and change the order/add new columns and recreate it, insert the backup data into new Table. Is there any best way to do this without dropping and recreating.I think SQLServer 2005 will allow this process without dropping and recreating while changing to existing table structure. Thanks

  • ScrollBars are not visible after changing positions of controls inside a Canvas

    Hi, I created a custom canvas control inheriting from WPF Canvas. I am using it like this in main window - <ScrollViewer HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Auto" VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Auto"> <RTD:RTDesignerCanvas Margin="5" Background="White" x:Name="canvas1" Focusable="True" AllowDrop="True"> </RTD:RTDesignerCanvas> </ScrollViewer> Everyhting works fine but when I try to set the position of controls inside it like this Canvas.SetTop(item, 200); scrollbars are not visible and control is hiddedn down somewhere. Intrestingly, if I add another control to it scroll bars are visible and I can scroll downwards to see the previous control. I tried to use base.InvalidateVisual(); base.UpdateLayout(); base.InvalidateArrange(); after changing items Top or Left but nothing happens; Am I missing something or this happens due to some bug?

    Is there any debugger that allows Python code to be changed while debugging? In other words: run-time exception occurs, debugger stops, I change the code any way I like, and tell the program to continue. I am aware of the problems with this approach, such that references to functions would still point to the old definitions if I redefine the function on the fly, and so on. I am ok with that, since I just want to be able to make small fixes in very simple circumstances. On the other hand, I'm also interested in whether it's theoretically possible to allow changes to Python code without running into these problems: i.e., somehow update all the references to the objects that changed, etc. I'm nearly sure the answer to the second question is no, but if I'm wrong, I'd like to know. EDIT: If my goal (changing the code interactively when an exception occurred, and then continuing execution), is achievable without a debugger - that would be good as well. I don't need to use the debugger.
