  I have disabled the task manager form the registry. After disabling it, when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del a dialog box appears which tells me that the task manager has been disabled by the Administrator. Kindly guide me how can I disable this type of dialog box, warning me that the task manager has been disabled.

• How can I create a hotkey to play/pause Pandora on OS X?

  I'm on OS X and want to have a hotkey (e.g. Cmd-Opt-P) to play/pause Pandora. I've used Butler to set one up for iTunes, but can't find a comparable solution for Pandora. I'm open to any solution (including apps, AppleScripts, etc.) that would allow me to bind a hotkey to play/pause, and I'm willing to use a paid solution as well. What can I do? Solutions I've looked into and/or tried: Pandora Boy: but the keyboard shortcuts don't seem to work for me, despite following the instructions here. • How to start "explorer" process using command line (Vista)?

  Is there a way to start windows "explorer" process from command line? Because of some problem in my Vista OS, explorer process crashes frequently (i can not see TaskBar after that) but using the open windows i can access the cmd.exe ( ctrl+alt+delete does not work). If there could be a command to start "explorer" process again or to start the Task manager then that would help a lot. Thanks Edit: explorer command starts the explorer process, but alt+ctrl+del is still not working, any help?

  my new seagate sata drive keeps showing as a 249gb drive but in the setup part when i press del at the boot up it states there a 3000gb drive and i have searched for a solution but havent found one yet. I havent tried in a different pc yet and I have an asus gaming board with 2 video cards sli'ed and i have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with 8gb ram and a hp 23" widescreen monitor and the sniper gaming case and a salitek lighted up gaming keyboard and a razor death adder gaming mouse and a corsair 850 watt power supply.   I have setup Postfix and Dovecot on an Ubuntu box following the instructions http://www.exratione.com/2012/05/a-mailserver-on-ubuntu-1204-postfix-dovecot-mysql/ I can see that email is being delivered to and accepted by the server, but the email is not available for retrieval via POP3. • Ubuntu 9.04 Cannot Connect to visible open wifi ap (reason 6)

  I'm travelling currently so the last network i connected successfully to was my home wpa-psk network. I hadn't tried anything until i got to my accommodation that is an open network (that I'm on now on the Win7 partition on my laptop). The network (and a similar archetypical 'linksys' open network, aswell as some protected local networks are correctly displayed in network-manager and upon selection, it happily spins around to its hearts content for a while before saying 'no chance boy'. /var/log/syslog spills out the usual combination of wpa_supplicant and kernel messages, the most interesting of are that the kernel deauthentication reason 6 response. 6 apparently means class2FrameFromNonAuthStation...Client attempted to transfer data before it was authenticated. Anyone seen anything like this? I've already tried going closer to the router to no avail. I don't remember seeing this any other time I've connected to a open AP, even if that AP is far away. (Signal strength for this AP is good, kismet says its around -57dBm, well above the threshold of -80dBm, and I've tried all the suggestions from the 'Related Questions'

  In our sbs 2003 domain environment, the clients' pc's inactive for default period will be locked out automatically and only Ctrl+ Alt + Del & client password combination will unlock the client's pcs. Recently around 9 months before, all our client's pc's joined the new sbs 2011 but (usually all are locking with Win+L key combination manually)the auto lock feature is not working from the beginning onwards. Now only I am brought up with this issue by clients. Please help me set that option!

• How to prevent the "other user" from appearing on the logon screen of a server?

  When I want to log into a server console (Server 2008 R2), I click Ctrl+Alt+Del and get "Other User" that I need to click before I get the log in box to add my credentials. This wouldnt be so bad, but I want to use this server as a Citrix server and so far every user that tries to connect has to click other user before they can add thier own credentials.. Has anyone got any ideas on ewhat I can do to get this to go straight to the username and password without the extra click?

  Hi Dudes, Installed Win 2008 server and IIS7. Enabled ASP Classic and ASP.NET on it. Can't get any ASP scripts to run e.g. desperate.asp containing following line: <% Response.Write "Hello Love, Fancy a Date?" % It just comes up with a "FILE DOWNLOAD - SECURITY WARNING" panel asking em to download. When I select anything it keeps looping. Found lots fo stuff on internet but nothing working. Also same for other ASP scripts HTML works no problem e.g. a file called reply.html containing: Get lost little boy. We only serve French Fries in Macdonalds Any ideas?

• Emails not being delivered

  Comment pointed out that this may fix my problem, and it did: Why don't mails show up in the recipient's mailspool? I use Postfix with Dovecot, and when I send an email from my gmail to my server, it is received at the server, but not at my email client using POP3. I can verify it being received at the server using the mail command.   Let's say there are some folder in the D: drive: D:\Air D:\Abonden D:\All D:\Whatever I want to delete all folders starting with "A" (including all subfolders and files). I tried this command: rmdir D:\A* /s /q I get an error, though :( The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. The del command works with *, but I need to delete folders as well. Is there a way to achieve that via the rmdir command?

• Will not POST with a USB mouse or keyboard plugged in

  I have an Abit KN9 motherboard, and a USB keyboard and mouse. The computer will not POST with the keyboard or mouse plugged in, but they can be used (and they are fully functional) if you plug them in later, after POST. On the POST side of things, it hangs when it shows the installed processor, and goes no further - pressing DEL to go to setup will not work. I've tried disabling legacy USB support as recommended, but can't find the option anywhere in the BIOS.

  I did some reorganisation of my mail in Lotus Notes 7 this mornign, and seem to have lost some in the process. Not knowing Notes very well, I have two questions: if I selected some mail in the Inbox using the check-column, and dragged that mail into a folder, then selected some more mail in the Inbox, and hit the Del key, will the group of emails that were dragged into the other folder be deleted too, because I didn't unselect them? is there a way to search in all folders, rather than just the current folder?

• Windows 8 black screen with mouse pointer after login

  I restarted my system today and after logging in, i could see see nothing but a black screen with mouse pointer. I can start task manager via alt+ctrl+del, Task manager and msconfig show fine but when i try to run 'explorer' nothing happens. In safe mode everything seems fine. I do not have any system restore points and repair options from the DVD show "this option is not available for the selected OS" I've also updated my graphic drivers. Didn't help
