  • Panels-style UI for arbitrary CCK fields?

    I have a Drupal content type that has unlimited photo, textbox, and external link CCK fields, but while fields themselves can be reordered via drag-drop (i.e. photo B before photo A), I can't arbitrarily order amongst fields (i.e. photo B, link A, photo A, text A, link B). Panels is awesome, with its drag and drop, and just what I'm looking for interface-wise. Has anyone seen a Panels-style UI for ordering arbitrary collections of disparate CCK fields?

    I've boiled down my page to the simplest possible thing, and it still doesn't work in IE8. You can configure the Connect URL in the Application Settings Editor. I've sanitized the Connect URL above, but it is correct. The dialog does have username/password fields. If I log in, the dialog box gets redirected to my Connect URL, but there's no fb cookie, so of course nothing works. What am I doing wrong here?

    Hi, Here is a tricky question, how do you get the like count of a facebook object such as an album or a photo? I know that facebook has a fql table called link_stat that allow you to get the like count for an external url, but it does not seem to work if the object is within facebook. If you access the likes via the opengraph api on a particular object, it will only return a maximum of 4 users that like the object, even though there maybe a few thousand users that like it. Any clues?

  • Facebook android app keeps crashing even though there are no errors in my code. Why?

    If you import the facebook SDK library, the code works (ignore the deprecated methods for now lol) and there are no errors or warnings. However, when I run my facebook app on my Android 2.2 or 4.2 emulator, the app crashes either upon opening or after the log on screen. Why? Is it because I'm not implementing Async Task? If so, how does that work? This works perfectly fine as long the class myViewController is displayed as a standalone view. If I'm putting the View inside a UINavigationController the UIImageView won't display the image after taking one with the camera. But if I choose a picture from the library everything is fine again. So why does the UIImageView won't display a image taken with the camera inside a UINavigationController?

The kind of system you see in a camera shop / store, e.g. in the UK, Jessops and Boots stores. This is for my Dad who is adept at general PC usage as a notebook owner, but would prefer something fairly simple. The task of burning photos to CD/DVD, in their original photo file .jpg form, i.e. NOT as CD or DVD video or slideshow, is what I'm looking for. I'm guessing this might be possible in Picasa, but all the options available might be superfluous and confusing. He could probably learn to use that but thought I would try simpler options first. Looking for something that guides the user through the steps/stages of the process, 'Wizard' style. Any suggestions? Platform: HP Windows 7 Home notebook with CD/DVD burner and SD memory card slot.

The default photos application does show videos and is capable of playing them, which in turn means that UIImagePickerController should clearly be capable of showing videos in photo album and selecting them. I havent tested for 3GS, but I am sure that this problem does not exist in it with reference to other threads. I have built the app for both 3.0 (base SDK) and 3.1 but with the same results. This issue is already discussed in the thread: http://www.iphonedevsdk.com/forum/iphone-sdk-development/36197-uiimagepickercontroller-does-not-show-movies-albums.html But it does not seem to host a solution.   • Root certificate authority works windows/linux but not mac osx - (malformed)

    I have created a self-signed root certificate authority which if I install onto windows, linux, or even using the certificate store in firefox (windows/linux/macosx) will work perfectly with my terminating proxy. I have installed it into the system keychain and I have set the certificate to always trust. Within the chrome browser details it says "The certificate that Chrome received during this connection attempt is not formatted correctly, so Chrome cannot use it to protect your information. Error type: Malformed certificate" I used this code to create the certificate: openssl genrsa -des3 -passout pass:***** -out private/server.key 4096 openssl req -batch -passin pass:***** -new -x509 -nodes -sha1 -days 3600 -key private/server.key -out server.crt -config ../openssl.cnf If the issue is NOT that it is malformed (because it works everywhere else) then what else could it be? Am I installing it incorrectly? To be clear: Within the windows/linux OS, all browsers work perfectly. Within mac only firefox works if it uses its internal certificate store and not the keychain. It's the keychain method of importing a certificate that causes the issue. Thus, all browsers using the keychain will not work.   • Photoshop: Trim a photo so it contains no transparent pixels?

    In Photoshop, I've put together some panorama photos using the Photomerge tool and the resulting image contains a lot of transparent pixels. Also, because it's put together of multiple photos the alignment can be off. What I'd like to do is cut the image down to the largest box which contains no transparent pixels at all. It's similar to the Trim tool, but this would remove a number of non-transparent pixels. Is there anything like this? Basically something which would automatically crop the above image to the selection box there: a rectangle with no transparent pixels.
