• re-enabling a table for mysql replication

  We were able to setup mysql master-slave replication with the following version on both master/slave: mysqld Ver 5.5.28-29.1-log for Linux on x86_64 (Percona Server (GPL), Release 29.1) One day, we noticed that replication has stopped, we tried skipping over the entries that caused the replication errors. The errors persisted so we decided to skip replication for the 4 problematic tables. The slave has now caught up with the master except for the 4 tables. What is the best way to enable replication again for the 4 tables? This is what I have in mind but I don't know if it will work: 1) Modify slave config to enable replication again for the 4 tables 2) stop slave replication 3) for each of the 4 tables, use pt-table-sync --execute --verbose --print --sync-to-master h=localhost,D=mydb,t=mytable 4) restart slave database to reload replication configuration 5) start slave replication

• ESXi and Networking Devices

  I have two intel pro 1000 pt nics. One quad and one dual port. I want to assign all nic ports to a VM. I enabled PCI passthrough on all devices but ESXi will only allow me to add two nic ports until it tells me the maximum number of pci devices have been added. I have also tried setting up a virtual switch but it didn't seem like this would give full access to the nics. What is the best way to setup the nics to the VM has direct access to them? This is for a firewall VM.

Some of the key features released include: 1. New Look and Feel with Simplified Navigation Users are now one click away from the most valuable resources. Additionally, there are now focused areas which allow users to navigate more effectively. Users can review their individual achievements, create a dedicated Training Plan to broaden their knowledge, or use the new Company Corner to view their company’s achievements. Your view as an Oracle employee has been modified and the Company Corner will provide links to allow access to Partner Workgroups and other links specific to your partner data. 2. Resell Competency Tracker This new functionality has been created to allow partners to track their progress toward becoming Resell Authorized. The Resell Competency Tracker highlights those Knowledge Zones where additional requirements must be achieved prior to Distribution Rights being granted and allows the partners to track their progress. This tracker is available to all users badged to a company ID and also to Internal Oracle employees who have existing access to Partner Workgroups. 3.   My url scheme is /foo/var1-var2-var3.../bar I am using these mod_rewrite rules: RewriteBase /foo/ RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^ index.php [PT,L] If the length of the string 'var1-var2...' is greater than 257 characters then an error 403 Forbidden and a 404 are returned. However, if the length of the 'var1-var2...' string is 257 characters or less and subsequently followed by a slash the length of the remaining url may be any length. How does one overcome this limit?

• Different keyboard layouts at same time for different devices

  I have a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard, and I am using it as a portable but also desktop computer. In order to acheive this, I bought a VGA adapter and I am using it with an external mouse, keyboard, and monitor. The problem is, the external keyboard layout is different from the one on the macbook. It is set to US qwerty (its a logitech G15), and because of that, most keys behave differently than they should. Question is, how can I set up different layouts at same time for different devices? I want US for external keyboard and PT for the default one.

  I need some help with the following RewriteRule: RewriteRule ^/iesearch/(.*)$ /jsp/search/ieaccelerators/visualsearch.jsp?q=$1 [L,PT] The intention is to rewrite search-queries from http://mydomain/iesearch/alvin+the+chip to a JSP. This works fine as long as the URL does not contain encoded characters such as: http://mydomain/iesearch/alvin+%26+the+chip. The rewrite log shows the following: (2) init rewrite engine with requested uri /iesearch/alvin+&+the+chip (2) rewrite '/iesearch/alvin+the+&+chip' - '/jsp/search/ieaccelerators/visualsearch.jsp?q=alvin+&+the+chip' (3) split uri=/jsp/search/ieaccelerators/visualsearch.jsp?q=alvin+&+the+chip - uri=/jsp/search/ieaccelerators/visualsearch.jsp, args=q=alvin+&+the+chip I would have hoped that the %26 is passed on instead of the &.

• Diferent keyboard layouts at same time for diferent devices

  Hello, I have a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard, and I am using it was a portable but also desktop computer. In order to acheive this, i bought a VGA adapter and I am using it with an external mouse+keyboard+monitor. The problem is, the external keyboard layout is diferent from the one on the macbook. It is set to US qwerty (its a logitech G15), and because of that, most keys behave diferently from what they are supposed to. Question is, how can I set up diferent layouts at same time for diferent devices? I want US for external keyboard and PT for the default one.
