  Does anyone know how to integrate with the new Gallery3D app (cooliris android gallery)? I want to launch that app so it shows the thumbnails for only a specific folder. For example, say my app downloads images from my server and stores them in a folder on the sd-card (/sdcard/myapp/image-cache/someid/*). • Windows 7 - swap file on a USB disk? [closed]

  Possible Duplicate: How to move the page file to another physical disk location Windows 7 I was given temporarily a PC, running Windows 7 Ultimate. The problem is it's hard drive is full, there are like 250 MB free. The swap file is set to none. It has 4 GB RAM. When I load a few tabs in Chrome or IE and start a game it runs out of memory. I already emptied Recycle Bin, %temp%, etc. Deleting/moving user files or adding RAM is not an option. Now I have a USB 3 7200 RPM drive, it's connected to a USB 3 port and is really fast. Is there a way to create a swap file on that drive?

• How to rate-limit in nginx, but including/excluding certain IP addresses?

  I'm able to use limit_req to rate-limit all requests to my server. However I'd like to remove the rate restriction for certain IP addresses (i.e. whitelist) and use a different rate restriction for certain others (i.e. certain IPs I'd like as low as 1r/s). I tried using conditionals (e.g. if ( $remote_addr = "1.2.3.4" ) {}) but that seems to work only with rewrite rules, not for rate-limit rules.

  When crawling on webpages I need to be careful as to not make too many requests to the same domain, for example I want to put 1 s between requests. From what I understand it is the time between requests that is important. • Using SSH to find access to a problematic script in logs of multiple domains

  I run several (~20) sites on a Dreamhost VPS. Lately I max my memory allocation for the VPS and I want to find the problem. I would like to have an SSH script that will scan all the log files of all the domains and show me what object (image, php script etc) gets lots of calls. It will count the calls in each /logs/*/http/access.log, do an descending sort and show me the top 10 across domains. But I don't know how to do that. Can it be done? • How to fix Apache from crashing with PHP+Curl on an SSH request?

  My Apache process segfaults whenever I call curl_exec() from PHP with an "https://" URL. If I use http instead of https as the URL transport, it works perfectly, so I know curl and the other curl options are correct. I can use curl from the command-line on that server using the https version of the URL and it works perfectly, so I know the remote server is responding correctly, the cert isn't expired, etc.. • Decrypting Windows XP encrypted files from an old disk

  I had an old Windows XP machine with an encrypted directory. When moving to a new Win7 machine I connected the old disk as a slave in the new machine, and hence cannot access the encrypted files. Chances don't seem good as documentation warns you: "Do not Delete or Rename a User's account from which will want to Recover the Encrypted Files. You will not be able to de-crypt the files using the steps outlined above." On the other hand, I have full access to the machine, so maybe there's a utility which can extract the keys and use the to decrypt the files... BTW, I didn't have a password in the old machine, if it's relevant. Ideas, anyone? Thanks!

• Nokogiri Doc Element Not Returning Correctly

  From an authenticated referral (such as from a timeline story) to my website, I am trying to use the server-side authentication flow to obtain an access token for the referred user. I need to pass my app secret, the auth code, and the original redirect URI to the Facebook access token endpoint. Since I did not initiate the authentication request, how do I determine the original redirect_uri? • Escaping ampersands in URLs for HttpClient requests

  So I've got some Java code that uses Jakarta HttpClient like this: URI aURI = new URI( "http://host/index.php?title=" + title + "&action=edit" ); GetMethod aRequest = new GetMethod( aURI.getEscapedPathQuery()); The problem is that if title includes any ampersands (&), they're considered parameter delimiters and the request goes screwy... and if I replace them with the URL-escaped equivalent %26, then this gets double-escaped by getEscapedPathQuery() into %2526. I'm currently working around this by basically repairing the damage afterward: URI aURI = new URI( "http://host/index.php?title=" + title.replace("&", "%26") + "&action=edit" ); GetMethod aRequest = new GetMethod( aURI.getEscapedPathQuery().replace("%2526", "%26")); But there has to be a nicer way to do this, right? Note that the title can contain any number of unpredictable UTF-8 chars etc, so escaping everything else is a requirement.

• SPARQL UNION - Result set incomplete

  I have two queries: query 1: SELECT DISTINCT ?o COUNT(?o) WHERE { ?s1 ?somep1 <predicate_one-uri>. ?s1 ?p ?o} query 2: SELECT DISTINCT ?o COUNT(?o) WHERE {?s2 ?somep2 <predicate_two-uri>.?s2 ?p ?o.} Each query gives me a different result set (as expected). I need to make a union of these two sets, from what I understand the query below should give me the set I want: SELECT DISTINCT ?o COUNT(?o) WHERE { { ?s1 ?somep1 <predicate_one-uri>.?s1 ?p1 ?o} UNION {?s2 ?somep2 <predicate_two-uri>.?s2 ?p2 ?o.} } The problem is that some results from query 1 are not in the union set and vice-versa for query 2. The union is not working properly as it does not incorporate all results of query 1 and query 2. Please advise on the proper structure of the sparql query for achieving the desired result set. • GNS3 Cannot ping/resolve DNS record

  I set up an internet lab with GNS3, which has 3 routers, in each node there is a computer directly connected. One of the hosts is a DNS server, Windows 2003 Server. The other one is a Windows XP machine. Ping is good between routers and machines but no ability to ping domain.com record on DNS server 2003. I set a static nat on the router to route all traffic from gateway to the DNS server internal ip address, still no answer for the dns request. Any ideas or thoughts will be most welcome.

• Building a Web proxy to get around same-origin restrictions for collaborative Webapp based on a MEAN stack

  Can anyone point to books, articles, blogs, or even applications - open-source or proprietary - that detail building a Web proxy? This specific proxy will exist to get around the same-origin restrictions that prevent, for instance, loading a given Website into an <iframe> in a Webapp. This Webapp is a collaborative application in which a group of users log in to the app's Website and can then load different Websites into this app's <iframe> and do various collaborative things (e.g., several users simultaneously browsing a Website, in synch). The Webapp itself is built on a MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, and Node.js). The purpose of this proxy is not to do anonymous browsing or to bypass censorship. Information on how to build such a vehicle seems not to be readily available from my research. I've come across Glype but am not sure whether this is a feasible solution. I don't want to reinvent the wheel, so if a product is available for purchase, great. Else, we'd need to build one. The one that seems to be close is http://www.corsproxy.com. In effect, we'd like to re-create this since it evidently does what's needed. I don't care what server-side technology is used. Our app is MEAN-based, if that has any bearing. Also, the proxy has to obviously honor basic security considerations (user cookies, etc.) and eventually be scalable. So, anyone know of any sources that would detail how to build one of these? Is it even worth building if something already exists? If so, what would be a good candidate? Any other issues that should be considered with this proxy/application? Thanks a lot!

• Launch intent viewer to display image from url

  I have the url of an image. What i need to do is launch the default image viewer for images using an intent. I tried launching it by using: Uri uri = Uri.parse("http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/srpr/logo1w.png"); Intent it = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW); it.setDataAndType(uri, "image/*") startActivity(it); But it doesn't work. If I do not specify the type of data, the intent launches the browser since the data is a url. It works basically (since you can see the image on the browser) but what I would like is to have the gallery display the image for me. I can also download the image into a Bitmap but I would still not know how to display the Bitmap using the gallery (if that's even possible). Any ideas?

• Hebrew filenames in the URL

  We have a CMS that enables users to upload images and flashes to their site. Sometimes the filenames are in Hebrew. In our development server there is no problem, but in our production server we get a 404 error when the filename ends with Hebrew characters. I tried comparing the sites in the IIS, but I'm not sure what to even look for, so I'd be very happy to get pointers as to what might be causing the problem.

• Sharing Session between webservice and asp.net application

  I have an asp.net application and webservices (asmx) that reside in the same application but not in the same folder of the aspx files. I aslo have a winform application that uses the webservices. I have marked the webservice methods with [WebMethod(EnableSession = true)] but I am not able to share the same session values that are on the application in the webservices.
