• Addin to Visual Studio for visualizing a selected json string in the editor

  Hi! I've got a lot of xml files, and embedded in some elements there are json serialized objects. They are quite difficult to read and modify. So question is: Are there any Visual Studio addins availible that can take selected json-text in the editor, and visualize it (and maybe even allow for editing)? if not, if I must build it - are there any good starting points or samples availible? (making a right-click command availible when text is selected, and them showing a popup) Regards Larsi

In case the variable is an object and not just a basic type, there's a + sign to expand and explore the object. It there a way to copy all that into the clipboard?

  linq to sql visual studio Object-Relational designer generates C# entity class names same as the table names (except pluralizing it). so if the table name is authors it generates entity class with name "author". If the table name is Customers it generates class with name "Customer". Is there any option that can be set to make the designer generate entity class names as pascal cased. I am using VS 2010 if that makes any difference. Thanks.

  I generate a dynamic assembly with CSharpCodeProvider, from a C# source saved into a string. I can run the synamic code at runtime, but if I pause the execution Visual Studio doesn't show me the dinamic source code in the call stack. It says "External code" and I can't step into that source code. I think VS can't find PDB or other debug info. Can you help me?

  Hi All, I downloaded latest SDK xcode_.2.2.2_and_iPhone_SDK_3.2_final.dmg from apple site. I uninstall the old SDk and double click the .dmg file then i got a popup stating that "The following Disk Images couldnt found" and "xcode_3.2.2.2_and_iPhone_SDK_3.2_final.dmg is not recognized".   I'm running Visual Studio 2008 on Windows 7. When I try to attach to a process, VS tells me to restart under different credentials (with elevated permissions). So I have to restart VS and run it as Administrator. Is there a way to set it up so VS always starts with Admin privileges?
