  • XCode not saving file associations

    I go to xcodepreferencesfile_types, change association for file type "xyz", click apply+ok, reopen xcodepreferencesfile_types, check association for file type "xyz", its set as I just edited it. Not I quit xcode, start it again, xcodepreferencesfile_types, check association for file type "xyz", and its getting reset to its old value just like i never edited it. This is so lame, kindly suggest something :(

    Hello guys, I've made an application that makes full use of ajax, and what I need to do is: I want a button with a description + image that when clicked is disabled and instead of the original image in the button, appears the ajax loading element id inside the button. And when the ajax loading is complete, the original image of the button returns to the normal. Is there any good source on how to do something like this? What do you guys suggest?

    I'm using Eclipse's create InstallOptions menu to create a custom INI page with radio-buttons for repackaging the Blackberry Desktop installer. There are 2 sections for each type: "Internet" and "Enterprise". I need a user to select 1 of the 2 options and depending on their selection, the page will carry over the selection chosen in the custom page, jump to the INSTFILES page, and continue onto the end. I couldn't find any concrete documentation on getting INI pages to load in the script (I'm probably searching incorrectly), and then pass data from one page to the next (according to fields I guess?)     Hi, We are developing a client-server desktop application(winforms with sql server 2008, using LINQ-SQL).We are now finding many issues related to performance.These relate to querying too much data with LINQ , bad database design,not much caching etc.What do you suggest,we should do - how to go about solving these performance issues? The problem is, that I can't use the suggested solution under android, because it throws java.lang.verifyError...   • JSF Ajax refresh issue

    In my JSF page, I have a dropdown that needs to be populated onload of the page which is set in request scope, now I have a Ajax call that refreshes a part of the page. The Ajax piece works fine but the issue is on refresh it also calls the getter for the Dropdown and returns null ( because its in request scope). To me it makes no sense to call the getter for a component that's not part of the Ajax refresh. Am I doing it correct , please suggest.
