    I am working with google maps in flash, and i would like to know how to serve up my own image tile for the "we have no imagery at this zoom level..." error. I dont want to serve up an entire map of images - just for the times when google has no image does the tile layer base dispatch an event?     I have an app which stores co-ordinates. I am using Google maps to show the location to allow full use of the maps app. I am using the intent call and placing the co-ordinates in the q=xxxxxxxxx,xxxxxxxxx part. This works, however when Google maps shows the location it often finds a point on the road, sometimes a little distance from the actual co-ordinates. Is there a way to get maps to show the actual point?

  • Unable to display google maps in a dojo layout

    Dear All, I am a real newbie in programming and now I have to combine Google Maps and Dojo. Both alone are fine but when I try to implement a Google Map into a Dojo content pane which is embedded in a border-container it simply does not work. I think there is a problem with the naming of the divs but perhaps there is something else to take care of? Could someone post the simplest possible solution? many thanks

    I am trying to build a google app engine app in Java. The app is trying to get information from another site. On my computer I am behind a firewall and need to connect to the site through a proxy. Google app engine does not allow the use of java.net.proxy. Is there a way to configure eclipse so it knows that when I use URL.getContent() my local host will connect to that url through a proxy??

    I know how to generate html documentation using Sandcastle and similar tools. But if I want to host the project on Google code, how can I easily publish the documentation straight into the Google project Wiki pages? I can see the SVN repository has a wiki folder which I assume maps to the project Wiki pages and I guess I can make a build step to build the documentation from the autodoc tags. But is there some tool that generates wiki compatible format from the code documentation tags?
