  hi, I'm using JRebel with Scala and I'm quite frequently experiencing the need for restart of server due to the fact that JRebel is unable to load a class if the superclass was changed. This is done mainly when I change anonymous functions as I can deduce from the JRebel error desription: Class 'mypackage.NewBook$$anonfun$2' superclass was changed from 'scala.runtime.AbstractFunction1' to 'scala.runtime.AbstractFunction2' and could not be reloaded. Is there any way, how can I design my code to avoid this? Does scala compiler take the functions, numbers them from one as they appear in source code?

• jQuery: selecting by class after class change by .addClass() or .attr()

  I have some jQuery code something like this: $(document).ready(function() { $("img.off").click(function() { alert('on'); $(this).attr('class', 'on'); }); $("img.on").click(function() { alert('off'); $(this).attr('class', 'off'); }); }); The selector works fine for images that have the class name defined in the original HTML document, however after manipulating the class name with jQuery, the img item will not respond to selectors using it's new class. In other words, running the above code, if you click an 'off' img, it will trigger the first function, and change the class to 'on'. However, clicking this image again does not trigger the second function (as I would have expected), but rather triggers the first again. It's as if the selector is reading the old DOM rather than the updated version. What am I doing wrong here? Firefox 3.6.3 - jQuery 1.4.2

• Check for state change in objects using serialization?

  I have a form that is bind to an object, and when the user trying to leave the form, I want to warn them if anything on the form has been changed, and prompt them to save. My question is, is there any way to achieve this without implementing IComparar for all my classes in the binded object? I was thinking if there is a way I can serialize my object when loading the form, and do a simple comparison against the change object that also get serialized. Something like a string comparison. • Change column names of a cube action as they appear in Visual Studio

  the title pretty much says it all. I have a cube with data in it and I have yet to find a way to change the column names. They appear in a very ugly manner like [cubeName].[$dimension.columnName]. I have tried everything I know and anything I found on the web but nothing seems to be working. What I tried to do in most cases is create an Action in the Actions tab and write some MDX query language in there. No results whatsoever. As if the action is never run. Does anyone know how to do this? I've spent about 3 days trying to figure this out. Thank you.

• How do I change the URL Alias for Security/login in SilverStripe to user/login

  I am working on a new website being built in SilverStripe. Currently I am having a ton of trouble trying to get the system to let me change the URL alias (or create a second one) for the Security controller's login (and eventually logout) function. I have tried playing around with the routes.yml file and I tried creating the paths in my own UserController and loading directly from the Security controller with "return Security::login()". But that gives me errors about the use of the static functions. Unfortunately I don't come from a ton of object oriented experience and this is the first CMS I have used that actually uses a bunch of true object orientation. The current version of SilverStripe we are using is 3.0 (but we will be upgrading to 3.1.1 in a few days). Does anyone know much about the routing in SilverStripe?

  I'm writing an extension for chrome as "Content script". My extension should change the background color of google home page (https://www.google.com) I wrote this code (including jquery): $(".gsib_a").style="background:#FF0000"; But not worked. I'm sure I added jQuery to content script, and the manifest.json file is set. I am sure because this code works: $(".gsib_a").hide(); And I am sure changing style of the element with class of gsib_a is exactly what I need and affects. Now I can access it through my browser using the following url: http://localhost:8080/MyDynamicWebApp Now I want to change the access url to http://localhost:8080/app I changed the context root from the project properties | Web Project Settings | Context Root But it is not working. The web app still has the access url as earlier. I have re-deployed the application on tomcat, re-started the tomcat and have done everything that should be done but the access url is the same as earlier. I found that there were no server.xml file attached with the WARfile. The how the tomcat is determining that the context root of my web app is /MyDynamicWebApp and is allowing me to access the application through that url

  I would like to scrape the search results of this ASP.NET site using Ruby and preferably just using Hpricot (I cannot open an instance of Firefox): http://www.ngosinfo.gov.pk/SearchResults.aspx?name=&foa=0 However, I am having trouble figuring out how to go through each page of results. Basically, I need simulate clicking on links like these: <a href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$Pager1$2','')" class="blue_11" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_Pager1">2</a> <a href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$Pager1$3','')" class="blue_11" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_Pager1">3</a> etc. I tried using Net::HTTP to handle the post, but while that received the correct HTML, there were no search results (I'm probably not doing that correctly). In addition, the URL of the page does not contain any parameters indicating page, so it is not possible to force the results that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Active Index is not being persisted in jQuery accordion change event

However, when I load the page, the alert shows index 1 which is correct on the first load, but if I open up pane 3 for example, the alert shows 1 still. Am I doing something wrong?   Hi, I've been fighting with mod-rewrite for a while. Basically, I have a website that I'm moving to a difference namespace/directory. What I'd like to do is change urls that look like this: http://mydomain.com/index.php?a=xxxxxxxxxx These urls will always have "index.php?a=". I have a different/new site that also has an index.php file, so it's important that I do a rewrite only when a= is in the URL.   I've some adhoc reports developed on some report models which are published on Report Server (we're using SSRS 2008). Everything is running well. Now in our production environment we've near about forty (40) customers who have their own database (each have the same table structures and other database objects). Now the challenge is whenever a customer will log into the report server using windows authentication and trying to view those reports we need to get the SQL data from the proper database only. Reports are designed using the report model and each model has a valid data source which is connected to particular database. We can create forty separate data sources each will be connected to specific database. My question is, is there any way through which we can change the report model data source name dynamically or during runtime based on the customer name so that during execution of the report, SSRS would fetch the data from the correct database but not from any other database. Please help me.

• Return NSWindow to Normal Level

  Hi Everyone: I have an NSWindow that I want to go above the captured kCGDirectMainDisplay when a function is run and have the window go back to its normal level after the display is released. My code works for capturing the display, setting the window's level, and releasing the display, however once the display is released, the window floats above all other windows. I have included my method of doing this, in case I am doing something wrong. • utf-8 convertion doesn't work always

  I searched into other stack before to type here and I didn't find anythong similar. I have to scrape different utf-8 webpages which contain text like "Oggi è una bellissima giornata" the problem is on the characther "è" I extract this text with jtidy and xpath query expression and I convert it with byte[] content = filteredEncodedString.getBytes("utf-8"); String result = new String(content,"utf-8"); where filteredEncodedString contains the text "Oggi è una bellissima giornata". This procedures works on the most webpages analyzed so far but in some case it doesn't extract a utf-8 string. Page encoding is always the same as the text is similar. Any ideas about the problem? thanks Marco

• UIDocumentInteractionController change title of presented view

  I am using the UIDocumentInteractionController to display pdf files. My files are stored in the filesystem using encoded filenames that are not user-friendly. I do have access to a more friendly name for the file, but the file is not stored with this name (for uniqueness reasons). When I load the document into the UIDocumentInteractionController then the view displays the unfriendly 'real' filename in the titlebar. Is there any way to change the displayed title as presented by the UIDocumentInteractionController? Thanks.

  I am not sure if this belongs on serverfault or superuser. I would like to override SetThreadExecutionState(ES_DISPLAY_REQUIRED) to be a no-op. How is this accomplished? Is there some registry setting that can be altered instead of API hooking? Blocking ES_DISPLAY_REQUIRED will prevent apps from keeping the monitor powered on. I have an application (likely the antivirus) that is preventing some monitors from entering power-save and I think this function is the culprit.
