• Server 2012 DFS New Member Issue

  I am trying to add a new member to our DFS topology. We have 3 DCs (VMs - VMware) running Windows server 2012, two servers are located in or Primary site and the third at our DR site. Currently the two servers at our primary site are currently replicating DFS (full mesh) and are working fine. I have tried several times to add the third DC to our DFS topology, every time i configure the replication path e.g E:\MSI and click ok the MMC snap in crashes. Below is the crash info, any idea what is causing this? What i am doing is fairly straight forward and don't see why this would be happening. • Android "java.lang.noclassdeffounderror" exception

  Hello, I have a android webservice client application. I am trying to use the java standard WS library support. I have stripped the application down to the minimum, as shown below, to try and isolate the issue. I have included the java SE javax libraries in the java build pasth. When the android application tries to create the "service" object I get a "java.lang.noclassdeffounderror" exception. The two classes tempConvertSoap and TempConvet() are generated by wsimport. I am also using several libraries from javax.jws.. and javax.xml.ws.. Of course the application compiles without error and loads correctly. I know the application is running becouse my "try/catch" routine is successfully catching the error and printing it out. I have taken this same application and created a standard java client application and it works fine -- of course with all of the android stuff taken out. What would be a good debug strategy? What methods and techniques would you recommend I try and isolate the problem? I am thinking that there is some sort of Dalvik VM incompatibility that is causing the TempConvert class not to load. TempConvert is an interface class that references a lot of very tricky webservice attributes. Any help with debug strategies would be gladly appreciated. Thanks for the help, Steve

  i am using visual studio team system 2008 and VSS 2005. I took a latest copy of a project from VSS. Now when i try to open that project, it is showing error "This version of visual studio does not support source control" and " Unexpected error enocountered. Restart the application Error : no such interfaces are supported File : vsee\internal\vscomptr.inl". When i open solution explorer, all projects are showing as unavailable. I tried VS--Tools--options-- source control--plugin selection and set plug in to Microsoft "Visual source safe" and when i open "Environment" tab it is showing "an error occured while loading this property page" Can someone help me???

  In a test project I've managed to AutoGenerate WPF DataGrid columns in the following scenario, where the data is stored in a Dictionary and binding is performed via PropertyDescriptors: public class People:List<Person>{ ... } public class Person:Dictionary<string,string>,INotifyPropertyChanged,ICustomTypeDescriptor { } The problem I'm having is in my real life project I'm using MVVM so it's *People*ViewModel which inherits ViewModelBase and hence can't inherit List<Person>. I've tried implementing IList<Person> instead with an internal List<Person> and explicitly setting the DataContext to an IList<Person> reference but that didn't work. I've seen a similar post on binding a win forms DataGridView here, so I'm wondering if the same sort of logic applies in WPF and primarily, what exactly causes the ICustomTypeDescriptor implementation to be picked up when inheriting List<T> that is missing when you simply implement IList<T> instead.

  I have been porting an app from Flex 3.4.x to 4.0.. I have successfully ported the app and its libraries to flex 4.0, I've also removed ALL the references to http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex/mx in any of my mxml files... In short I "think" I have moved everything over to the new mx framework (2009)..   We're trying to work out a deployment strategy for an internal tool that we're creating. It's a control that uses a set of 3rd party libraries to communication with a specific type of server. So I have a class library built that uses these libraries. I was looking to deploy a silverlight application that uses our library, which in turn uses a set of 3rd party libraries. When trying to reference the 3rd party libraries, I get the "library can not be referenced because it was not built as a silverlight library". The type of project I'm trying to build is a silverlight application - not a dll library or anything else. Is it possible to create a silverlight application using libraries created outside of silverlight?

  Hi All, I'm currently struggling with this "Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute" issue. I have searched about this error message, and it's all related to the foreach statement. I do have the some foreach statements, but they are just simply representing the data. I did not using any remove or add inside the foreach statement. NOTE: The error randomly happens (about 4-5 times a day). The application is the MVC website. There are about 5 users operate this applications (about 150 orders a day). Could it be some another users modified the collection, and then occur this error? I have log4net setup and the settings can be found here Make sure that the controller has a parameterless public constructor I do have parameterless public constructor in AdminProductController Does anyone know why this happen and how to resolve this issue? A friend (Oskar) mentioned that "Theory: Maybe the problem is that your configuration and session factory is initialized on the first request after application restart.   Hi, i'm trying to setup 301 redirects on a rackspace account- this is what I want to happen: www.test1.com/sub/index.asp - www.test2.com/index.asp test1.com is a new PHP version of an old ASP site (a subsection of which is now at test2.com), so any previous asp page links to the test1.com/sub/ need to go to the same page name at test2.co.nz. I've got folder redirects working fine using .htaccess, ie in test1.com/sub/ RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.test2.com/$1 [R=301,L] but anything with .asp doesn't redirect, but is trying to be handled by the server. I've also tried a web.config in test1.com/sub/ ie: <configuration<system.web <urlMappings enabled="true" <add url="index.asp" mappedUrl="http://test2.com.com/index.asp"/ <urlMappings </system.web </configuration this gives a 500 internal server error Any ideas?

  I'm looking for a Java library for SWIFT messages. I want to parse SWIFT messages into an object model validate SWIFT messages (including SWIFT network validation rules) build / change SWIFT messages by using an object model Theoretically, I need to support all SWIFT message types. But at the moment I need MT103+, MT199, MT502, MT509, MT515 and MT535. So far I've looked at two libraries AnaSys Message Objects (link text) Datamation SWIFT Message Suite (link text) Both libraries allow to accomplish the tasks mentioned above but in both cases I'm not really happy. AnaSys uses a internal XML representation for all SWIFT messages which you need to know in order to access the fields of a message. And you need to operate on the DOM of the XML representation, there is no way to say "get the contents of field '50K' of the SWIFT message". And the Datamation library seems to have the nicer API but does not find all errors. So does anyone know other SWIFT libraries to use?

InheritInChildApplications="false"> <system.web>...</system.web> </location> But VS 2010 Web Developer Express keeps saying "The 'InheritInChildApplications' attribute is not allowed" and when I run my web app there's an error: "HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid." Config Error Unrecognized attribute 'InheritInChildApplications'. I've seen some smartguys all over the Internet discussing this and how it is working for them but there's much larger number of people here at SO and other places that did not get this to work.   I have a internal website hosted on IIS. I added the following meta code and also add http-header that the page should in IE8 Browser mode and document mode. <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" > We tested it on Visual Studio and and it works very well. However, after we publish the code to another IIS server, one developer reported that the page render in "IE8 Comatiblity" Browser Mode which causes some JavaScript to fail. There are more then 4 people working on the same windows server 2003 (RDP sessions). We use the same version of IE (same IE actually). Everyone get "IE8" Browser Mode but one person gets "IE8 Compatibility" Browser Mode. What else can make a specific user's IE load the page in a mode other than IE8 mode? PS. We checked the compatibility list in the IE; it is empty.

  What is the procedure to setup Google Test to work under Eclipse on Mac OS X? I followed the instruction in README to compile and install gtest as framework from XCode. Now I want to use gtest with Eclipse. Currently, it compiles fine but fails during build.   Hi Everyone, I am using jQGrid in my ASP.NET MVC application with add row feature. My problem is I have to save XML data in some of the row fields. But while posting the new row with some fields having plain xml, to server I get Internal server error. By default jqGrid perhaps expects json or text data to be posted on server while adding a new row. I used beforeSubmit method for workaround to convert xml first to json and then send to server, but while converting json back to xml I lose the orginal structure of the xml. FYI: I used JsonReaderWriterFactory on server to convert it back. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

• Spring 3 Controller Exception handler implementation problems

  I was hoping to implement a single "ExceptionController" to handle exceptions that are thrown in execution of my other controllers' methods. I hadn't specified any HandlerExceptionResolver in my application context so according to the API documentation the AnnotationMethodHandlerExceptionResolver should be started. Verified as such in the source. So I am curious to know why the following isn't working. @Controller public class ExceptionController { @ExceptionHandler(NullPointerException.class) public ModelAndView handleNullPointerException(NullPointerException ex) { // Do some stuff log.error(logging stuff) return myModelAndView; } } @Controller public class AnotherController { @RequestMapping(value="/nullpointerpath") public String throwNullPointer() { throw new NullPointerException(); } } I see in the debug logs that the three default exception handlers are asked for handling of the exception, but nothing is done and I see "DispatcherServlet - Could not complete request". Followed by the user being displayed the stacktrace and a 500 Internal error.

  Would very much appreciate any help or hint on were to go next. I'm trying to change the content of a row in ListView programmatically. In one row there are 3 TextView and a ProgressBar. I want to animate the ProgressBar if the 'result' column of the current row is zero. After reading some tutorials and docs, I came to the conclusion that LayoutInflater has to be used and getView() - overriden. Maybe I am wrong on this.
