  • How to use jaxb_commons plugins from maven

    - by user243155
I'm trying to use a jaxb plugin to insert a interface into a choice element generating the classes from maven. The problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to do so from maven, the repository isn't clear from the documentation and the only example (bellow) doesn't work, it seems to ignore the plugin (maven reports no error about not finding it) or the plugin doesn't have all the adds-ons currently listed in the project documentation: <plugin> <groupId>org.jvnet.jaxb2.maven2</groupId> <artifactId>maven-jaxb2-plugin</artifactId> <version>0.6.1</version> <executions> <execution> <goals> <goal>generate</goal> </goals> </execution> </executions> <configuration> <generatePackage>br.com.wonder.nfe.xml</generatePackage> <args> <arg>-Xifins</arg> </args> <plugins> <plugin> <groupId>org.jvnet.jaxb2_commons</groupId> <artifactId>basic</artifactId> <version>0.4.1.5</version> </plugin> </plugins> </configuration> </plugin> I have these in the root pom: <pluginRepositories> <pluginRepository> <id>maven2-repository.dev.java.net</id> <url>http://download.java.net/maven/2</url> </pluginRepository> <pluginRepository> <id>maven-repository.dev.java.net</id> <name>Java.net Maven 1 Repository (legacy)</name> <url>http://download.java.net/maven/1</url> <layout>legacy</layout> </pluginRepository> </pluginRepositories> Running that gives: Error while setting CmdLine options '[-Xifins, -episode, /home/administrador/JavaApp/wnfe3/wnfe-ejb/target/generated-sources/xjc/META-INF/sun-jaxb.episode]'! Embedded error: unrecognized parameter -Xifins

It requires FreeImage and now that I have installed that, I run rake db:migrate and receive the following error: dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _FreeImage_SetOutputMessage Referenced from: /Users/username/.ruby_inline/Inline_ImageScience_cdab.bundle Expected in: flat namespace dyld: Symbol not found: _FreeImage_SetOutputMessage Referenced from: /Users/username/.ruby_inline/Inline_ImageScience_cdab.bundle Expected in: flat namespace Trace/BPT trap I have tried searching around for the error but am at a complete loss as to where to go or what to try in order to resolve this issue.

  • DRY way of calling a method in every rails model

    - by Tim
Along the same lines as this question, I want to call acts_as_reportable inside every model so I can do one-off manual reports in the console in my dev environment (with a dump of the production data). What's the best way to do this? Putting acts_as_reportable if ENV['RAILS_ENV'] == "development" in every model is getting tedious and isn't very DRY at all. Everyone says monkey patching is the devil, but a mixin seems overkill. Thanks!

  • How to install VC80CRT debug runtimes without full visual studio 2005?

    - by Ben L
I can't run a debug sdk application because it requires both VC 8 and VC 9 versions of the CRT. But it only requires visual studio 2008 for plugin dev, which is what I need. How do I install the debug runtimes from 2005 on to a Windows7 machine? I can't figure out how to make them run app local nor can I copy anything into the winSxS folder without a trusted installer.

    - by Kevin
Hello, I am trying to access a Linux system's NOR flash memory. I tried use __raw_readl(xxxxx) (through io_p2v) to read NOR memory data, but I failed. Is there any way I can access that memory? Will driver /dev/mem work for this? I guess not. it is only for the RAM maybe. Can anyone help?

  • Implement eBay Finding/Feedback API [Java]

    - by zengr
Hi, I have just started with the ebay Finding API and Feedback API and I need to deploy a basic API implementation on GAE/J. The problems are: How do we start with the local dev environment of the ebay SDK? There is no Java tutorial for the Finding API and feedback. GAE/J + ebay APIs won't cause any complexity right? I am looking for head start in the right direction,I am using Eclipse + GAE plugin.

    - by yar
I am trying to do something like this ruby test.rb | source /dev/stdin where test.rb just prints out cd /. There are no errors, but it doesn't do anything either. If I use this: ruby test.rb > /eraseme; source /eraseme it works fine, but I want to avoid the intermediate file.

  • Is there a command line C++ to PDF converter with syntax highlighting?

    - by NoMoreZealots
I need to supply "Source code documents w/ Line numbers" which is essentially just a PDF of the source code with syntax highlighting and Line numbers. Is there any existing command line tools for windows that I could call from a script as a "build release version" script? Right now I'm doing it manually using VC++, which isn't even the dev enviroment the code is for a TI processor, and a PDF printer driver, which has a pop up for each file I print.

  • Is `xargs -t` output stderr or stdout, and can you control it?

    - by Roy Rico
say i have a directory with hi.txt and blah.txt and i execute the following command on a linux-ish command line ls *.* | xargs -t -i{} echo {} the output you will see is echo blah.txt blah.txt echo hi.txt hi.txt i'd like to redirect the stderr output (say 'echo blah.txt' fails...), leaving only the output from the xargs -t command written to std out, but it looks as if it's stderr as well. ls *.* | xargs -t -i{} echo {} 2> /dev/null Is there a way to control it, to make it output to stdout?

  • mysql innodb:innodb_flush_method

    - by Daniel
in the following link http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/innodb-parameters.html#sysvar_innodb_flush_method it says:Different values of this variable can have a marked effect on InnoDB performance. For example, on some systems where InnoDB data and log files are located on a SAN, it has been found that setting innodb_flush_method to O_DIRECT can degrade performance of simple SELECT statements by a factor of three. Why O_DIRECT could slow down the select statement?

    - by jdelator

I want to save the changes in a batch file or some archive and then email them to another dev/myself/etc.. so that they can take a look at my changes and apply them to their working copy. Is it possible to do this? Simpler scenario Can you backup uncommited svn changes?

  • Scrum and motivation

    - by zachary
How can you stop the dev team from padding their numbers when it comes to creating task times? How is there any motivation for them to do their work if there are no real deadlines and they are just measured against their velocity. Get the job done by this deadline vs Get the job done whenever we will reduce scope, quality or increase resources
